So far I have Xonotic, FreeDoom Phase 1 and 2, RogueBox Adventure and Sealed Bite. What other titles are worth playing?
It says "The free culture movement promotes free software and formats, and other free media as forms of resistance against the privatization of technology, media, and ideas.", but I would rather have it read "The free culture movement promotes free software and formats, and other free media as forms of resistance against the monopolization of technology, media, and ideas.".
The previous implies people who think privatization is good is are not welcome here. I like privatization, but I don't believe the information is property be it information code has or even the information that a painting you commissioned to be made is property, but the tangible object that is the painting is property. Idea Monopolization and the distinction of what is and isn't "personal property" comes from the days of feudalism where they used that highly ambiguous term for mental gymnastics to tax people more. "Oh, we're going to tax that corn you bought because it's a means of production because it has seeds". Of which would made the information from the corn property. Hell, China says the idea of Pandas are their property, they claim to own all Pandas like Monsanto claims to own all "contaminated" plants.
I know some people see privatization and monopolization as one in the same or going hand and hand, but I feel this distinction will alienate less people. You can believe in privatization and believe ideas are NOT property.
hi, i use debian and wanted to play ivan and wyrmsun but i dont know how to compile code. Is there any place where i can get the compiled binaries or an appimage? im dont know any programming and i dont have time to learn to compile from the code, why dont the developers provide an executable version of their games???
I'm interested in compiling a list of competitive games so the more competitive people can game while keeping their freedom :P
ANY suggestion is welcome!
These are the suggestions so far:
I'm personally interested in fast skill based games (not shooters though).
EDIT: I have rewritten the question to make it more generic
Is there like a /r/Steam alternative for Libre Gamers?
