What's your go to 03 unit camera settings? I'm fresh off of analog and would like some recommended presets.
Couldn’t find it anywhere and tbh i don’t like the color
The feds arrested some fpv guys flying in a bando with a quickness, release a news break that they can find drones...just not mysterious drones that sweep jersey and Staten island. If you thought they weren't coming for us regular fpv dudes because of all the recent events, you're wrong.
i keep on losing signal and seeing static when the drone is like 2 feet away from me
Let me know what you think about it
I was curious on what a solid 75mm 2S frame is. I been playing with alot of 65mm and open prop frames like the bassline and love them all but after watching ciotti on youtube, I want to try and build a 75mm ducted frame that fits with Gaeong 2S batteries. Can anyone guide me into the best 75mm frame that fits either 40mm or 45mm props and one that can handle a 2S pack. I see a bunch of versions of the mobula 7 and mobula 8 but dont know what the easiest fit would be for a 2S. Thaks for any help
So, my AOS UL7 decided to meet a cable mid-air… and, well, the cable won. Now my drone has a slightly awkward look with a damaged arm that need replacing.
Does anyone know where I can find replacement arms for the AOS UL7 in Europe? Thanks in advance!
The two in the back were my first quads, all are analog except the pavo20 pro. I’m waiting on the o4 air unit to come out to throw it in my 5”, until then it’s gonna stay analog.
Hi I want to start looking into this hobby since im passionate about VR etc and had experience building antweight battle bots, I know how to 3D model with Fusion and Onshape and have multiple 3D printers, really what I'm missing is knowledge on what is needed and how to build it.
I live in a populated city but near my house there is a protected park, so ideally it should be small enough to be able to fly in multiple zones, definitely not thinking to use it for long distances, but I would like to learn tricks with it so I guess a low delay should be a must?
What websites, tutorials, guides ecc could I use to start? budget isnt a problem but for a starting hobby I wouldnt want to spend more than 400$.
I think priority is to have something usable so that I can learn by myself what im missing or what I want as I go.
Much appreciated to everyone who wants to help me.
Go to r/UFOs or similar conspiracy sites and check out the posts. People are flipping out about these sightings. Even news outlets and police stations are trying to figure out what's happening. But as of yet, nothing but blurry videos and blurry pics.
I know someone out there must be near some of these things and can get out there and snag some clear video on what exactly these are!
My year of FPV.
TLDR: no idea if I'm going to get into drones but could see the potential. I am trying to find the cheapest way while expecting I'd probably want to fly with the FPV goggles once decent, so I can film cool stuff.
Longer version: I'm 99.99999% sure I have no interest in racing drones or acrobatics, but I've always been drone curious. I mountain bike, Backcountry ski, and am now paragliding and it may be cool to one day film my friends, and take the occasional family photos, but I have no idea if I'll actually do it.
I came across this guy's video who suggested your cheapest way to getting into drones was just getting a radiomaster pocket remote and simulator for less than $100 before even buying a drone (granted he's a racer).

Curious what y'all think. Idk if I'm interested in buying one of the tiny whoops just to tinker in the house or if I'll actually love it so that's kinda why I was leaning towards just doing remote and simulator for a bit.
Maybe I could score a used DJI for cheap after Xmas lol maybe I end up loving it and building my own that can haul ass.
ALSO GOING TO MY INLAWS FOR XMAS AND A SIM WOULD PROBABLY GO OVER BETTER THAN A LIL DRONE lol
Because of the many drone regulations in europe i went to a big open field without any buildings nearby, this wasn’t appreciated by walkers although i mainted a save distance of 80 meters.
Hello,
Sorry I am in a rush. Yan anyone help me please? I bought a used Quadcopter it has the Matek systems 5in1 FC. Also got a Taranis x9d plus with crossfire tx. So original there is an FrSky RX connected to the drone. Now I bought an TBS Crossfire Micro Rx. But it only has 4channels.. I think I need at least 5ch. Also I have no idea how to connect it to the drone. Should I buy a different Crossfire rx with 6ch? 2 pictures attached One of the Rx I bought and where the FrSky RX was connected to on the FC. https://imgur.com/a/ykfXjeK
Hi, I have Walksnail Goggles X and I was thinking on going analog on a small project I'm doing at the moment. I heard of the problems the goggles have with the AV IN, and I was looking for a cheap analog reciever compatible with them. Which one is the best solution people found?
So like the title states I had a very odd issue with my quads yesterday and wanted to share. All quads in this post have o3 air units.
I was flying yesterday and out of nowhere I started having HORRIBLE reception issues with my goggles. Id get maybe 100 yards away and id be dropping down to 10mbps and lower and having terrible issues with video quality.
Well I figured maybe the antenna took a shit so I immediately swapped to another quad so I could get back to flying and had the SAME issue, so at this point I figured my goggles v2 crapped out on me.
I swapped to my backup pair of goggles and still had the same horrible signal and video quality. At this point I was fully stumped and the ONLY thing I hadn't tried was swapping out my FPV controller 2 so I went ahead and did that and voila! It worked perfectly again.
I have no idea why or how using the FPV controller 2 with the goggles v2 caused this problem, but I think I am going to go ahead and go ELRS for my radio link and just use the goggles v2 for video. I did read a post that mentioned when using the dji controller and goggles together it can cause issues like this so I am going to change to a radiomaster boxer and elrs to make sure this doesnt happen again.
So today I was flying at my local park and an elderly couple approached me asking if I am flying a drone.
We chatted about the drone, the prices, on how long should you train before you can fly it in acro. I gave the man my goggles so he could see a video recordings of my flying, and he was so excited! He told to his wife "I can't even describe how is feels like... It feels like I'm flying!!!"
We spent a few minutes more chatting about our local flying rules, if I needed a license and how much I paid for it.
At the end they thanked me and wished me a happy flying.
Just wanted to share this as I mostly see a negative encounters here on the sub.
has anybody tried it, i cant find it in the elrs configurator. heck can it even be updated?
Still not smooth on the sticks felt very nervous but so far it felt great! Simulators definitely helped 🕹️
What is the recommended analog module for the DJI gogs 2? I will probably get the cheaper or most available one first. And upgrade later. Am in Australia if that matters.
Brother gave me his old drone project since he didnt have time for it , it's mostly intack excpet one missing motor aside from that there are two board , one with usb port and one with coils and i wanted to ask what more do i need to get it running.
All the esc's are here except for the motor
lower board could be a voltage regulator guessing by pins name 12V,5V,+,-
I upgraded the laptop charger power supply, test is successful. I will build this into a plastic ammo box with two output and volt/amper meter. I would also like to build in a fan but unfortunately I havent found a pinout chart for this hp psu model. If you could share any information or guides how the map the small pins, that would be appreciated.
Hi.
i'm currently working on a Drone Teststand for a Project at my Uni. For that i'm planning on useing a Tekko 32 45A single ESC from Holybro. Can this ESC use a PWM Signal as control Input? On their website they only list DShot, but the larger 4 in 1 can.
I need to know cause i was planning on useing the built in PWM Generator (800Hz) in the Lab measuring card we got. If anyone knows i would greatly appreciate it if you could help me, or if someone has some sort of documentation on it, it would be even better.
Thx in advance maybe i'm just dense, in that case i take the Bonk.
The crash is self explanatory, in the sim this doesn't happen. Do you have drills to suggest?
Getting my first build list together and I’m feeling a tad idiotic when it comes to the motor side of things. Lots of numbers. All I know for sure is I’m using the demibot frame and going with 6s. Wondering if these motors are worth it or if I should look at something else? I have a Nazgul and haven’t had problems with the xings on that so I figured these would probably work. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
