Fossil id?

So I know it's some kind of bivalve but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind and what period it is from? It was found in my driveway and probably came from somewhere around Tennessee. I'm just really curious about it.

Idk

I’m pretty sure it’s a piece of fossilized coral but it’s not super common from what I’ve read for it to have crystals in it. Is it worth trying to break it or cut it or something to see more crystals or is it better to keep the natural state of it? I couldn’t really get the crystals well on camera but it’s that little thing in the center it’s a hole that you can see from the side it goes down to way more crystals.

Possible Gyrocone

Found this in a river rock parking lot fill, so I have no way of knowing where exactly it came from besides somsomewhere in the Midwesten USA. Peep the little seashell negative fossil.

Identification help

Was looking for sharks teeth and ray plates and found two teeth that I am not familiar with. Can someone help me identify the teeth on the right?

Amateur Questions

Hello, I live in North Carolina and want to explore the Floyd Church Formation in the Albemarle Group for Ediacaran fossils. I have a ton of questions though. First: is it worth the effort for an amateur with not alot of time to dedicate to hunting them? I understand they can be rare to find, maybe there's other cool things to be finding that I'm more likely to actually come across. Second: what am I looking for? I understand most things existing from that time to be plants and blobby flesh-less creatures, how do I find those? Should I be breaking open rocks from exposures in the Floyd Church formation? I can't imagine they'll just be laying out exposed to the world, but maybe. What tools should I use? What rocks would they be in / on? Ive recently been hooked on fossils and I just can't keep driving to the coast all the time trying to find them. Any help would be appreciated, maybe I'm in over my head. 🤣

Name this fossil!

This was collected in North East Alabama in Mississippian rock. I actually know what this fossil is but I thought it was super interesting so I wanted to share it without giving it away. ;)

Fossil removal

I found this fossil and I was wondering what the best way for me to remove it from the rock without damaging the fossil?
