Hi everyone! I have read that marble is very unlikely to contains fossils, but there is a weird spot in one tile. Could this be a fossil? Sorry if this a silly question!
I was looking for Native American arrowheads and found this. Looks like fossilized plants to me!
I'm not sure if enough is exposed to make a positive ID, but any help would be appreciated!
About 2cm long. Found in armor stone originating from Kawartha lakes region, Ontario
This came from brickwork in our cafeteria. There are no other ones of this pattern. Do you think it’s real? If so, what is it? Not sure where the rocks came from but we are in North Georgia.
Me and my partner recently went fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast and found this. I’m pretty sure this is an Ammonite but could it possibly be anything different?
