I feel like the demand is there. I'm sure there's a finance aspect of it, but do we not have funds that we can allocate towards this? Is it the bus driver shortage, or are we wanting something different than citilink as an option?
I feel like it could be turned into a cool experience, as long as they don't try to make it a luxury thing like they've done with a few other projects around town.
Add more stops, highlight shopping centers, grocery stores, sporting centers for after school athletics, etc.
Shoot, they could have a Parkview line/route for all the different branches, a line/route for high schoolers to after school athletics, a park line/route to take you to different parks, grocery line/route for people who live to far from grocery store and customize inside to allow space for all the groceries.
I have lived here my entire life and haven’t been to the Bell Mansion.
Does anyone have first hand experience or insight for which tour to go on? The paranormal stuff is what I’m most interested in.
Looks like it’s either guided tours or private investigations. Anyone know cost per person for private investigations?
Want to make sure I make the most of it! Thanks!
So this is a long shot but theres a restaurant somewhere around dupont/coldwater area where i can only remember the apron some employees wear, i went off of faded memory but tried to make it in photoshop for reference. I think there may be the text of the place in gold text included? Sorry, I can’t remember any other details! Let me know if youve seen anything similar to this, im trying to plan a friends surprise birthday
Indiana wind sucks! My husband has two vertical banners (one says merry, and the other says Christmas), house is vinyl. He hangs one on each side of the front door but it keeps blowing off. Tips to make it stay? We don't have anything on the porch to tie it to
I'm currently seeing a chiropractor and I'm still in so much pain in my lower back, I don't feel like he's doing much good. Being a bigger guy I feel like I need man handled lol
Can someone recommend a chiropractor that may be able to get my lower back and hips better?
Hello everyone,
My parents are newer residents of Fort Wayne and they don’t have many friends. My mom broke her hip a couple of months ago, had surgery about a month ago and is still in recovery so she’s not able to decorate her house for Christmas. This for her is a really big deal because my mom always goes all out. I unfortunately cannot be around to help as I am in my last couple of semesters of OT school in MI so I can’t drop everything to be there 24/7. I’m posting on here (delete if not allowed) to see if anyone would be willing to help her out even just for a couple of hours to lift her spirits! I understand it’s the holiday season and people are busy but I’d really like to be able to help her in any way I can!
Is FW Safe?
/s
I will be moving to Fort Wayne IN in a few months’ time. I have visited FW in the beginning of November and will be visiting again in mid-December. I am planning to get a new construction home in one of decent (clean, friendly, not crowded, not everyone putting their cars outside all the time) neighborhoods near to FW zip code 46825. Based on my one visit for a couple of hours, I found Huntertown Marcella community is a decent place but with a little more price tag whereas Grassland/Sonora/Majestic Pointe (northwest of 46818) with affordable price tag. Since they are empty, I could not understand much about the neighborhood. But definitely did not understand why they have lesser price than Huntertown. I may have to sell the house in 6 years so in the future, so it is also important, if I can get my money back (if not any profit). Please help me to understand why they are cheaper than Huntertown and any prediction for future prosperity and good idea to have the house there. Thank you in advance.
I saw this video and it sent me down a rabbit hole about the history and origin of this event.
I read something about the event starting in the early 2000s. Were there other businesses involved before. When did they put the wreath on the IM building?
Just curious
My partner and I relocated from Michigan and are looking to cut our own tree down this year. Does anyone have any recommendations?? We’re not stuck in Fort Wayne by any means and can travel a little if there’s some decent places nearby
Hi. Who are the best and most fair jewelry appraisers in town?
Does anyone know of any places willing to hire a 15 yo?
My house was built in 1940. Lakeside Park area. City says prior to 1937 is likely not lead pipes. I'd prefer to not replace them, but want to be safe. Recommendations?
My daughter just turned one and I would like to take her around and see some houses decorated, are there any neighborhoods that go all out?
Hi! I’m looking for a barber for my bf. He has really really thick and curly hair. Thank you!!
Just moved to Fort Wayne from Indy and the TTRPG scene is huge there with a multitude of different shops having monthly/weekly events for Dnd, Vampire, call of cthulu, etc. What's up with the TTRPG community here? Maybe im missing something, but all I can find is Warhammer or Magic.
Has anyone had experience doing this through City Utilities yet? Their estimate is about 5k lower than what Korte quoted me on (no surprise there I guess) so I am considering it.
My step-daughter is really into art — all types of mediums, but she currently seems to particularly interested in oil painting and oil pastels. Does anyone know if any good classes in Fort Wayne for kids her age?
Preferably a once a week class, not a 1-week summer camp.
Any places for rent in Fort Wayne Indiana that accepts felons?
Edit: I’m getting a lot of rude comments 😐 it’s not for me. But since when do we get hated on for trying to help someone? 😂
Hi everyone I’m planning to move to Fort Wayne in the next couple of months, however I don’t really have the best credit score low 600s. Anyone have any recommendations of where to look for home rentals that won’t give you a hard time.
Thank you ❤️
what are some things happening tomorrow/this weekend where i can support small/local businesses? any craft fairs, markets, etc!
Is there anywhere in ft Wayne that has multiple types of bitters? I especially want walnut
Edit: my question is asking if anyone knows what’s going INTO the building since Kittles lost the lease.
Hello, visiting from out of town to see family. Tomorrow we are throwing a party for my daughter and want to get ramen takeout. I know a lot of places around here serve ramen bit was wondering if anywhere had large takeout servings? We will have a out 15 people and I prefer not to order 15 separate bowls of ramen if an alternative was possible
Are they doing anything about the old Carson's building at the Glenbrook mall? It's been a while since I've been there but all I remember is the inside entrance being covered up by a wall.
I live out of state, so I’m trying to coordinate some resources.
I have two relatives (roommates) who both have some disability living in an approaching unsafe manner. There’s some hoarding, mainly innocuous stuff like books, clothing, knick-knacks, mail, etc., no biological hazards or anything that I’m aware of. I am looking for someone who specializes in these kinds of situations who can come in, help them sort, organize, and do a really good cleaning, etc. Someone who can be sensitive to physical and mental/neurodivergence factors.
For safety/insurance reasons, only looking for professional recommendations or people who have a solid reference list.
TIA!
I'm planning something special... what is the prettiest place during the winter in Fort Wayne, or within an hour of it? It could be either a beauty from nature or lighting... I'm just trying to spark some ideas!
Trying to find the best selection of tiny glass liquor bottles in town - thanks!
