Best free monospaced font for spreadsheets? (Looking for zero without slash.)

I don't like having a slash through zero (it looks look close to an 8). And I like monospaced so digits align. The only font I have like that is courier new. Can you suggest a better monospaced font for spreadsheets? (Zero without slash.)

Fonts for Roman Numerals

This is a very specific question, but does anyone know any good fonts to use for Roman numerals that would pair well with this script (or similar)? My fiancé is a third, and I cannot find a font that is thin enough that pairs well with this script and the Roman numeral looks so odd in script font.

Help me with this font.

Hi!

I've tried to implement a font to my website, unfortunately it lacks certain danish letters, so I've made "my own font" from this original. The problem I'm facing is that the lower case j dosen't go beneath the other letter (in this case t) HOW do I fix this error?

first line = my attempt

second line = the original

*Please mind that this is for a school project so credit to the typedesigner*

Best Replica Fonts for books

I’ve seen the bundles with 200,000 fonts, and I’ve seen the sites that offer loads of free fonts.

What I want to find is a bundle of high quality fonts for print and maybe embedding in ePub (for headings and title). Quality over quantity… and not outrageous in price.

I thought I found that in Google fonts, but quite a few fail to print well with Amazon KDP printing.

Why are there still some people who use Times New Roman ?

Please, don't do that, it's unreadable. Though, probably not many of you use it, since you follow this subreddit

Every “h” in this AI-written clickbait is in a jarringly different font than every other letter.

Does anyone have any recommendations for commercial use fonts that are like intentionally infuriating, like having spacing the off or inconsistent, shapes that don't quite fit with each other, meant to represent the voice of an evil God whose voice hurts just a bit to listen to.

To give an idea of the vibe I'm going for the vibe, when when I actually get around to adding voice acting to this project this character's voice will be a grating text to speech program speaking, fully on purpose. Mysterious grating and lazy.

[Meta] Filter font identification requests

It’s been a decade since u/VoxUmbra posted about a request to ban font identification posts from this sub as it is not what this is intended to be.

It’s almost 2025, can there be some sort of automod filter on posts that say “What font is this” and similar phrases?

Font suggestion for cybersecurity graphic design.

I'm making a flyer for BlueLight, a new cybersecurity company. I'm looking for a sleek, clean, font available on Canva with uppercase and lowercase letters.

Scriptorium Fonts Licensing

So I wanted to download and use Kelmscott by Scriptorium. The DaFont zip file has a readme pertaining to the licensing, saying to send money to a PO Box. Now this file was uploaded sometime mid to early 2000s so naturally I assumed it's probably changed by now.

Two problems

Yes, Scriptorium had since created a website where you could pay for collections of their fonts.

The creator of the Kelmscott font and Scriptorium in general, David Nalle, passed away in 2021

The website has since been stripped down and I can't find a place to actually buy his font collections

Back to Kelmscott. I'd like to use it probably at some point in the future, but I'd like to pay for licensing. How do I go about obtaining a license if it's even possible or necessary now that he's gone?
