However, I do not know how to upload it. Do I have to upload only a picture of the card itself, front and back?

Hello! I just got accepted into the spring semester of the above Master’s. I do not have a background in this at all (bachelors in Psych) and want to hear any advice and experiences for those that have been in this program. What are some things that I can do to help myself come January?

has anyone decided to purchase all of these and think its worth the money? the handbooks are basically the slides that you can download frkm your course (while taking it only) on your computer except way more content and organized better? and the fluency flashcards are in the units also but when you graduate FIT you will not longer have access to the digital one? so im wondering if buying the physical cards will be more beneficial long term

Hello, guys I’m going to start Florida institute of technology aba in masters practice online program this is the 5th edition. I start in a couple of weeks and I’m nervous can anyone tell me how the program is I’ll be doing full time but it doesn’t seem too bad cuz I’ll be taking three classes but not at the same time I have two that start in a couple weeks and one in November that start. Can you break down how the curriculum is and how it is managing the course load and working as an RBT 30 hours a week. I decided 30 hours a week would be fine compared to my usual 40+ hours. I am a senior who goes to UConn and I’ve been a manufacturing engineering major there and I’ve been trying to switch to Mechanical Engineering, however they have denied me despite being qualified. Now that it’s my senior year I have to take senior design and they won’t let me. So I applied and was accepted to Florida tech.

In short: I can go to Florida tech coming in with around 75 credits and in the mechanical engineering major or I can stay at uconn and do an extra year, and that extra year I will only be taking senior design.

Both options now require an extra semester minimum, so for people at Florida tech… what would you recommend?

Starting my first year at FIT this August, just wondering what software I will be expected to download as an Aerospace engineering major (astronautics concentration). I know I won't be doing simulations my first semester, but I want to get a head start at learning the software! I’m also looking to upgrade my laptop and the software demands will help me gauge which one is better!

Idk if I should be surprised or not. I applied for AS Computer Information Systems for Fall 2024 term 1 as an international student studying from abroad. I sent my transcripts, diploma, resume (with honors, test scores, freelance experience, skills, and languages), and SAT scores (1230 total, 610 reading, 620 math), and I will take the Duolingo English Test later next month. Btw my high school cumulative GPA is 3.07, I graduated last year. Now the question is if I should enroll or not, since It's not clear if I can use the degree to transfer to a 4-year university in Florida (UF, my dream school, doesn't clarify if they accept the degree and course credits by default).

hey guys, I was looking for a college in Florida that has Fully online associate's degrees, because I live abroad and trying to save some money right now, and I just discovered that Florida Tech has some. I want to get a bachelor's degree from a public Florida university (thinking of UF) after I get my associate's degree first. Are the courses and the degree useful in this case (transferring to another institution)? I have known about Florida Tech for about a year now and always thought it was public until I realized it's private and courses might not transfer 1:1. Also, DEI policies are a big thing for me (prefer not to have any), does DEI play a role in online degrees or is it only if you're on campus? Also, I have a 3.1 GPA and 1230 SAT and will probably take Duolingo for English proficiency (I'm already near native so not a big problem for me)

Edit: And also, what's the difference between transfer hours and credit hours? I know what credit hours are but not "transfer hours" (for associates: 45 transfer hours, 61 credit hours)

Hello everyone, my wife is planning on applying for a Behavior Analysis Practice M.S. at FIT (online course), but on the application portal, there are two different options:

• Behavior Anlysis Professional Practice, with enrollment open for the Spring of 2025 term
• Behavior Anlysis Practice 5th Edition, with enrollment open for the Fall of 2024 term

Looking it up on FIT’s website there seems to be information only about the “Behavior Analysis Program”, with no distinction between these two. Does anyone know what the difference are? She wants to start it asap so if the 5th edition one is good to get the BCBA certification, that would be great

I'm looking for an off campus roommate for the Fall semester. I've already been approved for a 2B2B at Aqua apartments, really nice apartments about a 10 minute drive from FIT. The apartment complex has a gym, pool, in-unit washer dryer, valet trash pickup and some other amenitites. Monthly rent will be ~$1100-1200. Howdy guys, I need your opinion on the Florida tech aerospace engineering programs, it is one of the schools I got accepted into and I dont know if its a good school and if I should commit to it. I intend to work in the space and defense sector in the future so I wanted to get your opinion on the matter

I just found out about this school and they have great programs with a wide variety of options for engineering. Their job opportunities in the area seem great and I hope they're also good outside Florida.

They're a small school and from what I've read, the students seem to have great connections with each other, with certain programs such as Electrical Eng, Ocean engineering, and civil engineering having only 100 ish people in them.

I hate big cities and I think the area of Melbourne is really nice with it's beach. FIT has sailing and other activities to do.

I would hope to enjoy my college experience, do activities and projects that I will remember for a lifetime, meet people that I form close relationships with, and gain hands on experience that I will use in my career.

One last thing is that FIT seems really expensive. I have a 1430 SAT, decent extracurriculars relating to math/engineering/somewhat leadership or communication skills. I've taken 7 ap classes including ap calculus and physics and stats. I just applied yesterday because their application was free and they were still accepting. Are they generous with aid and scholarships?

Tldr: Just applied to FIT yesterday, found out I think I really like their programs/campus (small size & good degrees), and wondering if I should consider FIT over other schools like UCF, NJIT, etc for engineering.
