Only good lights, and making fun of people who use shitty lights. (It's all in good fun, though, so don't be too mean.)
Shutdown because spez killed 3rd party apps

Over the years. I like them - i use them a lot and have been made fun of many times. :) But, I am no expert and don’t research - mainly b/c the frustration of every freaking flashlight bought in the last idk 5-8 yrs stops working within six months. Been thru a lot of Stanleys and Nebo’s. Take good care of them but they poop out.
Any good basic house/yard flashlights on the market meant to last for a few yrs these days?
There’s this slot on this new company hard hat, any recommendations on how to set up a headlamp/flashing without drilling any holes?
I'm looking for a smaller (hand held) flashlight that has and incredibly bright flash to it, that shines a spot a very long distance. I plan to use this to spot down people doing suspicious activity in my area. As well as a home defense. If I shine an intruder to temporarily blind them I see that as a better alternative to a gun. It helps me see better while disabling the intruder. All else fails its a blunt object. I want the light to have 2 modes. ON/OFF.
any ideas. I would like the range to be able to light up a vehicle from across a parking lot. Any ideas?
I reviewed these two lights separately but decided to do a comparison video. Check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTnCYtFi5D4
I am wanting to buy a light set up (light, mount and switch). I don’t want to spend more than $250 but am considering this; streamlight hlx protac with a cloud LCS and Arisaka mount. This set up comes out to almost exactly $200. What other options should I consider or is this the best I can do under $250? If anyone has a used/good condition Could Rein 1.0 kit I would be interested in buying that
What handheld flashlight should I use to meet a VC-L2 inspection per KSC-C-123 (100-125 ft candles at a distance of 6-18 inches)?
What handheld flashlight can I use that will exceed VC-L2 criteria, and cost <$150?
I don’t know if it will work for everybody, but I was able to use “WELCOME20” as a coupon code last night for 20% off on my TK30.
Collector of many things here, and back on rotation for flashlights. Haven't been in the game a while and would like some recommendations of maybe brands to look into that are worthwhile. Willing to spend hundreds on each, probably not over $500, though. Figure is good to set a cap.
Definitely tend to prefer EDC size things, but also interested in upgrading the crappy Amazon junk I've got at home for power outages.
So, whatchu think? Whatcha got to recommend? From giant to midget I'm interested in looking at anything worthwhile.
Thanks in advance!
I have a flashlight that needs Battery and a bulb, have no idea what kind it needs cause I can’t find the manufacturer’s info on it. I will include pic
I’m looking for an EDC flashlight has to be kinda small. I bout the streamlight micro stream but think I’d like a magnetic end What do you guys recommend?

Hello, quick question i have heard a lot of rumors about flashlights coming with built in laser pointers, but i wanted to ask you guys what you thought, is any of that true? are there actually good flashlights coming with laser pointers built in? if so, how much would they be?
thank you
