Has anyone had trouble with ants eating fig plants? If so, did you find any solution?
It's a big field with many fig plants, not a few in a house.
I just got 2 potted fig trees 1 Spanish jumbo yellow fig and 1 turkey brown fig. both are about a meter tall. On the day of their arrival, they looked awesome and healthy. I noticed a day after which is today that both have wilted their leaves.
1.both are in a shady area that barely gets 1 hour of sunlight.
2.the temperatures where I live reach a peak of 43/40 degrees Celsius and a low of 28/26. the humidity is about 20% to 15%. both can thrive in this environment.
3.Both are watered well so no underwatering/overwatering here.
I heard that figs lose almost all of their leaves to grow new ones better suited for the environment they’re in. Now is that true? cause I have a fig tree that did just that.
Hello. I have a grown fig(all year hector) ~5cm at the base and i wonder if it can withstand temperatures like the label says -10°C?
Or should i wait until the trunk thickens?
