Feilding New Zealand. Yes the spelling is correct...

Welcome the Feilding subreddit

Feilding. The biggest town in the Manawatu and more crumbling earthquake prone buildings than you can shake a richter scale at.

But hey, thats not all! Trains can go faster through town than cars, the town smells like shit on Fridays and the Coach House Museum website looks like its been designed by someones autistic donkey.

So welcome - check in and say hi if you haven't been to town for a while.

Enjoy!

Keen for a meetup?

I'm thinking about having another go at hosting a /r/Marton meetup, and had the thought of combining it with you guys!

What are your thoughts on that?

I haven't been posting because I'm not here.

The Himatangi bush phone is dodgy at best. But feel free to post your own pearlers. I'll be out fishing with Dave tomorrow and trying pipis and vinegar for the first time in years.

Feilding Floods "Its 2004 all over again"

Mayor Helen Worboys is likening the ongoing weather episode to the 2004 disaster. "Oh, no - its 2004 all over again" and urged businesses to stay vigilent.

The new council have made their intentions known. They are now known as the Destructors of Feathered Friends..
