I’m a 22 year old woman who is attending my first corporate holiday party in a week. No dress code, just a vision board that is giving “glitzy cocktail.” I have this dress, and I really like it as it’s comfortable and flattering. However, I’m really unsure how to style it. I’m worried about it coming off as too formal and matronly. Does anyone have any tips for shoes and/or jewelry to make it more youthful, fun, and cocktail-y?
What shoes for colder months should I buy for this dress? Any advice appreciated. I do not wear high heels but something with a chunkier heel would also be acceptable :)
Hi there ! I bought this coat to wear in Canada (i.e. cold weather), but now I need advice for scarf, gloves and a bag (my bf would like to get me one). I’m on the frugal side so no Hermès :) PS : the Bombers is reversible to an all blue no flowers side : https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRGcb1lSMG0CB7gUglCRiajHFJQkmLXCObk0v89PDOJEg&s
I’m a singer (36F) who bought these pants for an upcoming gig for the holidays. What top would you pair them with?
hi! i’m from canada, so i definitely already have boots that i wear in winter, but they’re huge and bulky (bogs rain boots that double as my winter boots). great for the weather & warmth, but i can’t wear outfits like this because it just doesn’t go together. i’m headed to nyc in a few weeks, and i'd actually like to dress as i normally do / don’t want to wear leggings, but i don't know which ankle boots to look out for! i'd obviously like for them to be black, and if they have a wider front, that would be fantastic, but i'm willing to try it regardless. unfortunately, the main issue is that i wear a size 12, so my options genuinely are really limited, and i haven’t had any luck finding anything that might match. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!
all of my cargo joggers are for the most part a similar style, but colour wise, i have black, beige, green, and charcoal. so i’d like for the boots to match universally and not just with this particular outfit!

I'm buying this dress for myself now that it's finally on sale. I want something that will match to where under it or over it to make it look cuter for the winter, but I am having trouble color matching so I thought someone here would do a better job.
And also, shoes. I never know how to buy cute shoes. I want them to kind of pop though with the dress.
I will wear tights. So what color?
I have quite a few questions so sorry I’m advance! Lol. I’m going to a smart formal Christmas party with my partner. I thought this dress would work. However I would like suggestions for something to cover up my arms & shoulders as I’m self conscious. Also, do I wear pantyhose underneath? I live in Canada so it’s getting chilly. What sort of shoes would you recommend?
Hello! I'm taking over a local female-only fashion group hangout. Our public hangouts (restaurant, picnics, etc.) involves a dress theme for everyone to follow. Historically, there's been denim, sparkles, fur, cocktail, nautical themes to name a few. The group has been inactive for a year, and I want to reinvigorate the group with an accessible and fun theme that everyone could look forward to.
I'm hoping to schedule the next hangout in late December or early January. I'm kind of stumped, some of the themes I've been thinking of are:
Does anyone have theme recommendations for a public winter hangout? Thank you in advance!
Is there an app that people use to see photos of just outfit inspo? Pinterest use to be my shiiii but recently sucks. I hate watching TikTok's for outfits I wanna see photos
So im not sure if this is the right place to ask but i got this sleeveless dress recently and let me tell you I adore it like it gives me the perfect hourglass shape BUT i hate wearing sleeveless dresses bc im a little insecure abt my arms and also its freezing outside lmao. So i need help layering styling this dress!!! Any ideas??
I got these cargo pants and I am wondering what tops I could wear with them? I like how they’re styled in the picture but looking for more options. Thanks!!!
I have neuro issues and shoes are tough to find so I’m trying to shop around wearing these shoes. Basically my foot will slip out of anything so shoes that grip my ankle high and are comfy is key. I got this pair last year and wore it with a sheer and flowy dress that was long in the back and short in the front and it looked cute. Nearly every dress I’m finding this year is somehow meant for strappy shoes and I don’t know enough about fashion to know why they seem off.
I need a new dress for a party this year and I was wondering if there are certain materials or dress lengths that go best with them. Does anyone have a recommendation? They’re like a suede texture but look like a smooth black. The name is Sam Edelman Women's Usha Ankle Bootie if it helps to go look at more pics.
I know mismatched patterns can be a controversial subject… I was taught growing up to never do it. However, I am having a difficult time styling these pants and was wondering if this sweater might be acceptable to wear with the very patterned pants? I cannot tell. Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions for what might look nice?
Hello, as the title says, i am looking for pretty warm boots or shoes. I am a 18 year old male and I do not want something too flashy. It does not need to be from a certain brand and I prefer low shoes/boots. Price range is from about 40$-230$. Any tips appreciated :)
my boyfriend got me these boots on depop for a heck of a deal!! seriously need some help styling them though. i don’t own much pink. i’m thinking maybe incorporating the blue accent may be cool, but white or black majority. i have a black & pink dress, not sure how it’ll go
i have this sheer shirt pls tell me what can i wear underneath it to make it look classy
Hey my fiancée just got me this leather jacket. Do y’all think it matches me or looks good on me? What pants or shirts do I wear with it to make it look nice? Any advice would be appreciated.
Hey all!
I have my work Christmas party coming up in a couple of weeks and have been rummaging through my wardrobe for something to wear.
The dress code is Dress to Impress. Last year I wore a suit with a sequin shirt but this year I've lost weight and am feeling good about looking more feminine rather than 'trendy'.
I have this dress which I thought could work but I'm worried about it being too formal. I'm 5ft 2 so the leg slit doesn't come up as high as shown on the model. I'd love some advice on how to dress it down just a little or make the look a bit more alternative.
All the advice online says to wear trainers/flats and to dress down with denim jackets but I'd still like to wear heels and I think something like a denim jacket will dress it down too much.
Any advice would be massively appreciated!
This is from a brand called “ Aphratti” on Amazon. I absolutely love their dresses and the way the material fits. I own every style and pattern. I am in need of more dresses like this that are stretchy yet still tight around the waist and loose on the bottom. I have ordered so many wrap dresses but can’t find a brand that makes dresses like this that are stretchy , v neck and belted. Please help.
i’m going to a wedding and i currently only own one pair of heels that don’t go with either dress. i’m wearing this dress to the rehearsal dinner and the black dress to the ceremony. i would like to only buy one new pair of shoes, but i’m not sure what i can get that goes with both of them. i feel like this shade of blue would contrast too strongly with black shoes, which are what i wanted to wear with the black dress. i couldn’t attach an image of the black dress, but it’s a floor length, high neck gown. what heels should i get that go with both?
My best friend is looking for a long, mermaid fit prom dress. The theme is starry night for reference. The image below is a dress she really likes and we are looking for this specific color and vibe. Where can she find something like this?
Hi, I need help styling this dress. I was thinking about styling it with a belt, but I’m not sure. What color stockings should I wear? Should I wear a long sleeve underneath ? More importantly what kind of shoes should I wear. Thanks.
Hi! I'm 29, Female, and planning to wear this colourful sequin dress for an xmas party. I need some help deciding on a jacket that works with it! Also would black ankle boots match it?
Looking for advice on shoe and bag colors to go with this exact bridesmaid dress style and color? It’s been a looong time since I’ve attended a formal event, so I don’t have very many existing shoe and bag options to choose from. Thank you in advance!!
I have a work Christmas party and have decided to wear a sequinned dress, but not sure of what shoes to where. I first ordered a pair of black closed toe shoes with sparkles on the straps but because of the postal strike (in Canada) I don’t think they will make it in time.
