Hello I am looking for the fan edit of the film Avengers Assembled that combines Infinity War and Endgame into one stream-lined film. If anyone can dm with a link I would be grateful
This edit is mainly a combination of Hal9000's Cloak of Deception and Ebumms edit (which was used as a base) with additional cuts that I made. This movie has been fan edited to death, but I've always wanted to make my own version to fulfill my personal satisfactions. This edit borrows from many other edits in terms of what was cut, so it isn't exactly the most original thing out there. That being said, its main goal was to go for a more conservative approach for people that don't entirely hate this movie.
- Cut "What, what did you say?!"
- Trimmed Obi Wan and Qui Gon having tea for pacing reasons.
- A small cut in between the line "My Lord, is that legal" to make the line flow smoother.
- Cut "yes, yes my lord as you wish."
- Trimmed the explosions of the ship.
- Removed the force run. Didn't think it was possible, but with a few shots moved around it seemed to get the job done.
- Cut to the invasion after the line "communication disruptions can mean only one thing, invasion."
- Kept the trip to the underwater city while cutting the entire planet core sequence. Plays mostly the same as how The Phantom Edit plays out the sequence.
- Cut the "This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them" exchange.
- Cut Anakin's bad acting "An angel?"
- Cut some of Jar Jars antics in the shop
- trimmed Qui Gons introduction to Shmi to get rid of the actors talking over each other.
- Got rid of all of Anakin's "ooops"and "yippees."
- Cut Jar Jars attempt at slurping the apple for a second time while Qui Gon catches his tongue.
- Kept the scene with Anakin's friends other than the line "come on, let's go and play ball"
- Used Hal9000 version of Jar Jar yapping his hand.
- Kept midicholorians. Personally, I never hated this concept, so I didn't feel like taking it out.
- Used Hal9000's version of the deleted probe droid scene.
- Cut the dull "everything depends on it" line.
- From the start of the Gungan battle to when Darth Maul is taunting Obi Wan, the edit becomes Hal's version.
- The rest of the edit uses the cuts from Ebumms edit.

Love Titanic (1997) and have for years but this edit is an enhancement and creative implementation of making the main story even more closer to the time-period it takes place in by having all of the flashback segments in B&W while the current-day segments remain in color. I was going to cut the narrative segments out all together and just solely have it set in 1912 but the narrative opening/in-betweens flow into the flashbacks with voiceover to where cutting them out wouldn't flow well and would be too noticeable of a choppy cut. So I kept them and honestly it works fantastically. The back-in-time scenes look great in B&W and really adds to the vintage feel of the period it's trying to reflect and the early 1900's event it's trying to capture. It feels MORE like a historical account of that night by simply erasing the late 90's colorful look of the movie to a dreary and old-fashioned vibe. 1080p. DM for the link.
So just an update on my fan edits as I won’t be posting on here again until next year but that isn’t far around the corner.
I’ve decided if I’m updating my last release of Superman II Kryptonian Final Cut (Now Version 2) Purple Edition.
I will be going back too my Kryptonian cuts One Movie , 5 alternate endings. Which means you wouldn’t need any previous edits once these are finished.
So next year we wait for the Updated release of the new title…
Superman II The Movie (The Kryptonian Cuts)
Version 3
Purple edition (Happy Ending Kiss).
Blue Edition (Amnesia kiss).
Red Edition (I’ll buy pizza).
Green & Yellow Edition (Superman breaks up with Lois on balcony and that’s the last they see each other in movie).
No deleted scenes. No time travel. No test footage. No set up for sequels.
Looking for a polished best quality update with minor changes.
Update on my Supergirl fan edits. I won’t be returning too them so as it stands my Supergirl 1984 Extended Kryptonian Cut is the longest version available bringing the International cut and Directors Cut combined for one cut. Basically all footage that was released. Supergirl 1984 The Kryptonian Final Cut, cuts out a lot of the dragged out scenes and most of the bad dialogue like the poetic dialogue. Fight and flight scenes were sped up on this though. Giving a more watchable experience in my eyes.
Thanks Krypton7887 Have a good one!
This is a planned reworking of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. My goal is to make the film a little more like an updated version of the original WIlly Wonka film. The planned changes are as follows:
- Getting rid of the secondary plot about Wonka's father
- Making Willy less awkward and more just weird and funny
- Side plot of Charlie's father working at the toothpaste factory
- Willy Wonka agrees to Charlie's family coming to the factory instead of saying no at first
I want it to be noted I will be using the extedned version, so the "deleted scenes" will be included with the exception of a weird moment where Mike calls a Oompa Loompa a freak (felt out of nowhere). Obviously I'll have a more detailed change list when I release the edit. I am currently taking a small break from Marvel Knights, but I will be going back to it eventually.
Wondering if anyone has attempted to do a fan edit of the way of water, interpolating shots like they were in high frame rate releases of the movie? The main dilemmas I could see are which shots they even were exactly, and how to deliver a final that can pull off a variable frame rate (switching from 24/48fps).
Although I don’t think it’s the best way to see the movie, I’m very interested in the idea of replicating it for home viewing!
Since a 35mm print does not exist out there(so far). I'm going to create my own grindhouse print with many different film damage and grain filters that are out there.
Then, I will add in the extra T.V. scenes including one bit that is missing from the current releases of the t.v. version The scenes will be in 4x3 and fit within the scope frame vs attempting to crop the already cropped footage...or cropping the entire film which would ruin the composition.
I'm pondering whether to make two versions to use the alternate death scene of the u.s. marshall from the t.v. version(but use a fan re-constructed version of his death, since it appears Loomis shot him and Myers used him as a body shield if you look closely, which makes more sense than the incomprehensible editing of the t.v. scene).
I'm also debating whether to then also cut out Garretts death to match the script, so he just disappears and his body turns up later in the film.
I may also remix the score a bit and use cues in scenes none where used to keep the atmosphere up.
I added a 16mm heavy grain to the entire film. Then from there, I'll use various filters at random that add scratches and debris to the image.
I also realized I can blow up the filters to use only parts of the filter image, which will help keep things from being too obvious on a loop.
I'll post some images of the work in progress in the next comments.
Hello again!
This is the updated (and for all intents and purposes, final) version of this Alternate Cut of Alien: Romulus; an attempt to restore some scenes back to their original pre-release/test screening versions, reduce some of the more egregious franchise callbacks scattered throughout the film, and - most importantly - remove the character of Rook from the narrative completely.
Alien: Romulus - Alternate Cut is an attempt at maintaining a tighter narrative focus on Andy and Rain, brother and sister - sometimes brother vs sister - and the (rapidly-dwindling) group of orphaned kids on a literal dead-end colony, trying to escape Weyland-Yutani's corporate cruelty and discovering they had no idea how deep it could go.
If you already checked out this cut's first version about a month ago, the revision is pretty subtle: The source has been replaced, and despite there being an okay amount of alternate takes made available, only one line of dialog from them actually made it back into this cut. Otherwise, there's been a minute or two's worth of additional trims and rearrangements of shots/scenes; as well as some edit fixes, audio enhancements and new score additions (including thematic elements from Alien: Isolation and Alien: Covenant).
Thanks to everyone that gave their feedback, it was very, very much appreciated, and helped greatly with this revision. If you missed the first version of this, well, this one's better anyway, so you got here at just the right time - but if you want a hint at some of the changes that got made, the feedback under that post definitely points you in the right direction! If you did get the first version, though: this v2 revision has replaced the original at the same link, so if you still have that, just re-download and there you go.
Since this is a revision (completion, really) the edit is already listed on Fan Edit Central, and if you would like to check it out yourself, feel free to direct message me here as well, or send an email to straightcutsnochaser at gmail.

I finally fixed my edit of Wizard of Oz with The Dark Side of the Moon played over it. I also went ahead and did the other one, Another Brick in the Wall-E. Send me a chat if you'd like to watch them.
Hello, I have been trying to find this fan edit of Avengers Age of Ultron Extinction. I hear it makes a decent movie into a great one. Thanks for the help
What is this sub's favorite fanedit of the Ahsoka Disney+ Show?
Asking for a friend.
Has there been an extended fanedit done of this movie combining it with the TV scenes? The 2018 Koch blu ray features an "uncut" version plus the TV version.
I saw Wicked on Friday, and in case you have yet to hear, it is 160(!) minutes and ONLY covers the musical's first act. They carefully hid the "part 1" subtitle from all the marketing, much like Dune!
There's a lot to love about it (great production elements, performances, etc.), but it's bloated and needlessly long. The story of the first act does not justify that runtime at all.
I'm relatively new to fan-edits, but I'm already stoked for the home release of both films because I know some fantastic editor will combine them into a single, play-sized movie. It'll be tricky, as a lot of the padding comes from act-outs in the middle of songs, but after stuff like M4's Hobbit edit, I believe in miracles!
Any other movies you've seen recently that immediately had you imagining the fan-edit?
I made a recent post asking about what scenes, twists, or character arcs would people add to make the story of Deadpool & Wolverine even more epic, and so far this is the best idea 💡 I recieved from comments:
"Maybe turn it into a wackier, more insane version of Endgame, rather than follow the Avengers on their quests for the stones, you just follow these losers."
This idea seemed to me very practical and realistic because it is certainly achievable in terms of making a fan edit. So I came up with framing this idea into a working title. Feel free to share your opinions!
I was wondering if I had the footage and cuts for Arrow flashbacks season 4 and 5, would someone be able to make a fanedit with it? or a movie or something? The other thing its missing is the music from the footage
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with a more 60's cinematic color-grade change. Feels visually closer to the feel of the time period it takes place in. DM for the link.
I'm waiting for my copy of the Criterion Collection edition of Silence of The Lambs to come so I can make my first "real" fan-edit by inserting all the deleted scenes and making a supercut of the film.
My question is: has anyone already done this? I'd hate to put all the work in just to find out someone else already did it, lol.
Well my 3-day suspension which ended it's finally over but from now on so I'm not being regarded to as doing spam if anybody would like a copy of any of my edits you could send me an email address and I'll send you the link. My apologies to everybody who wanted to see the planes trains and automobiles edit that I had on my computer I could not fulfill that request because Reddit thought that I was spamming because a lot of people wanted to see it and I was given the link out. Anyway here is my email address and if you are interested in seeing any of my edits let me know thank you very much. fanediter@yahoo.com

I'm a fan of Tom Reimann and David Christopher Bell over at Gamefully Unemployed, and I got them to check out my cut of The Hobbit! Apparently they really liked it and talked about it on their most recent episode! I've had people blowing up my inbox with requests. I'm really happy that this cut is finding an audience that appreciates it!
hi,does anyone have the older version of the edit by donkey konga that's 117 min and has harry fake his memory loss it was really well done and my go to version if anyone has it and it's still available and can share the link I'd really appreciate it!
My fanediting bug has well and truly bitten me again, and I decided to cap off the 61st anniversary of Doctor Who with an action-focused rethink and recut of one of my all time favourites from childhood, Day of the Daleks!
I first learned of this through the 90 minute VHS recut (ah, to think back to how we got our fan editing fixation, we were overexposed to several official reedits from the 'pros' at the time), I lapped it all up, every twist and turn, but in re-examining this edit, I realized something....the whole thing could be shortened to just thirty minutes if...
Before I know it, I had a complete story on my hands, and I didn't need to cut down ANY of episode 1!
As the title suggests, this is an action edit, named after the 1970s magazine for young boys that saw many a cover devoted to the Third Doctor's adventures, and this is, as it was billed then, a 'big' story. It's one of the more intense of the Third Doctor's adventures, one of the more Bond-like. Thanks to a little footage from episode 2 of the serial, I was able to give Pertwee more to do at the story's climax, participating more in the battle for Styles manor. And who can forget the brave Gorilla fighters, a little something for them too since they got left out of the skirmish almost entirely save one.
Two versions of this are available, a 30 minute cut made up of the tv footage,, and one with an extra five minutes added from a fanfilm, special thanks to u/DANLAV05 for pointing this production my way. It was put together by Hyde Fundraisers, who were the team behind creating authentic looking retro Who footage for the stage play "Trial of Davros"

A HUGE THANK YOU to all 33,000 members of the r/fanedits community!
Here are some fun facts about the number 33,000 to celebrate!
Number 33000 - Facts about the integer
Thank you for being a part of our collective community!
Happy Editing!
We want to address a recent situation in the community. Unfortunately, we had to permanently ban a user for repeatedly sharing pirated content, specifically an edit based on a pirated cam release where a movie playing on the big screen is filmed and a poor quality version is posted while it is still in theaters.
This user had made meaningful contributions to the fanediting community, which we do appreciate. However, they used a pirated source (an obvious cam download) for their edit, which is against our rules. After their post was removed, they received a warning and a temporary ban. Despite that, they reposted the same pirated edit again on the same day the film was officially released on streaming platforms.
This was avoidable. While we value everyone’s contributions, our rules against piracy are firm. Ignoring warnings and continuing to share pirated content leaves us no choice but to issue a permanent ban.
Thank you for understanding and for helping us keep this community thriving.

This edit aims to cut out some of the more awkward/annoying scenes as well as add some deleted scenes. This is also another installment of my planned Marvel Knights series!
Cuts/Moves:
- Moved Magneto's origin before the title card introduction
- Trimmed Senator Kelly's reaction to Toad eating bird
- Moved some scenes near the end for pacing after adding a deleted scene
- Cyclops' comment about yellow spandex
- Timmed scene when the X-Men first walks into the statue of liberty building
- Storm's infamous line to Toad (It's funny, but makes zero sense in context with the film)
Additions:
- Marvel Knights Intro
- Marvel Logo Intro from X-Men: The Last Stand
- Some voice lines during Sabretooth and Wolverine's first fight, to imply they've fought before (Still no memories, but they have been instinctly at odds through out the years like the comics) As well as later on in the film.
- Some brief flashbacks from X-Men 2 when Logan first wakes up at the mansion
- Extended scene in Storm's Classroom
- Deleted Scene where Jean Grey and Professor X talks about Logan
- Deleted Scene with Cyclops giving Logan his old costume
- New Mid Credit Scene teasing future project
- New song in the credits ;)
As always, hope you enjoy! If you own the original and would like a link either DM me here, use the FEC database, or email me at drskeletor001@gmail.com with the subject line as "Fan Edit" for a quick response. Next edit will be a non Marvel film to take a break from it for a bit, but the next Marvel Knight entry will be rather....Strange.
I was wondering if anyone has ever attempted a fanedit of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan by splicing in scenes from the original Star Trek episode 'Space Seed' to serve as flashbacks? I think this would be an interesting take.
I tried to rewatch this recently and had to turn it off because there is so much about this film that absolutely does not work in any way shape or form. However, it is Spielberg. Surely, a better film could be made from this by stripping away its most eggregiously awful parts, like the awful 'Nancy Allen gets horny from airplanes' subplot. I don't know if it's possible to make this a good film, but has anyone tried to make a better one?
I finally was able to watch The Phantom Edit. As part of my 2025 slate of projects, I am considering re-creating The Phantom Edit for a better viewing experience since it's only available in 480p. What do you think I should do?
I like Kerr's book edits but the SD quality is kinda off putting, and no subtitles or 5.1 surround sound either!
It's kinda out of date so I wonder if anyone has made HD versions of those edits?
I thought io found it in the Hal9000 edits but when i watched those it was basically just watching the regular blu rays. No major edits were made in those to present it similarly to the books. Anyone working on such a thing?
