A place for users to share and discuss things that drive them to the brink of anger. From daily frustrations to serious issues in society that can elicit strong emotions. Whether it's a news article, a personal story, or just a pet peeve, this is the place to vent and connect with others who share your feeling of extreme anger about a topic.
Note Rule 9. | This is not a place to complain about other subreddits, reddit users, or anything else related to reddit.
Posting any sort of identifying information is not permitted. Identifying information includes things like real names, account names (including reddit usernames), email addresses, phone numbers, etc. Exceptions may be made for information that is considered common knowledge or newsworthy.
We also don't allow posting images of conversations containing your own username, to make it more difficult to identify the other users involved.
This subreddit is about things that are extremely infuriating. Often this includes terrible people doing terrible things. But attacks against those people need to stay confined to this subreddit. Witch hunts and doxxing will not be tolerated (see Rule #1).
The first rule of reddiquette is to "remember the human". There's another person on the other end of the computer screen. Disagreements and debates are okay, but insults and hostility are not. If someone attacks you in a comment, don't respond in kind. Just report it and move on.
Posts to this subreddit often involve terrible people doing terrible things. But it's never appropriate to post responses like, "Someone should kick their ass," or, "I hope someone puts a bullet in their head." You can express your frustration or dislike for someone without advocating for them to be physically harmed or murdered.

I just saw an ad to stop drinking wine and instead start eating gummies that have WEED in it. It's called Mood.
Picture is a kitty I found on Thanksgiving
I use spotify free and can skip infinitely when I use spotify on my TV, but then before I can get to a song that i wont skip, i get four thirty second ads and sometimes it can happen twice in a row, so 4 minutes of my time is wasted before I can listen to a song I like. Idk if this is the right place to post but yea thanks for reading
.
Why? Just why? Why do you feel the need to pollute the world with your sound pollution by watching videos on max volume in quiet spaces with complete disregard to everyone around you? Do you have no shame? As a society, we need to normalize taking people’s phones and smashing it whenever someone is watching anything on their phone loudly in public. Make it culturally acceptable to just smash people’s phones to bits and pieces if they do not have the situational awareness to mute their phone or put on headphones within 5-10 seconds of their phone being loud
My dad had ordered a steel-book for Godzilla: Minus One, and a package had arrived to our doorstep. What was in it? NOTHING! It wasn't even sealed properly! The kind of package was supposed to be a sealed bubble-lined plastic bag with the steel book copy inside!
What's even worse is that the extremely rare copy is no longer in stock! It can't be shipped over to us now! Granted, we are getting a full refund, but still... are you serious?! Leaving a plastic shipping bag UNSEALED, which could EJECT the movie disc container out?! That ONE shipping mistake screwed us over! Unbelievable!
Thank you, Amazon... NOT. Who knows where it is now...
Park security guards constantly locking the bathroom. I saw them go in it and lock it instantly afterwards then run back into their building where they don't do anything except sit in there all day. I asked why they keep locking the bathroom even though it is a public bathroom (paid for by taxpayers btw) and people should be able to use it, and they got a very snotty attitude and said 'because people do weird things in there!' Ok, but you're the park security guards. So...do your job and kick the 'weird people' out and let everyone else in the park use the damn bathroom.
People taking a crap on the floor of a porta potty, or having explosive diarrhea all over the toilet seat, or taking a massive crap in the urinal. WTF.
Public toilets constantly being 'out of service' or the door is jammed open or something, so in order to take a piss or crap, even if there is nobody around for ten minutes, of course someone is going to walk by the second you sit down. Also, even though these public toilets were built with sinks, the water has not worked for several years in any of them, and I frequently find weird crap like needles or dirty underwear in the sink instead. You will be very lucky if there is even toilet paper in it, because 90% of the time, there is not.
I mean seriously, whenever I look at other countries, I see men of shorter stature everywhere and they’re all successful individuals. In the US on the other hand, if you’re male, everyone expects you to be at least 6 feet tall, and treat you differently based on your height. Even the US government is like this, as they literally only elect presidents who are 6 feet and over, and refuse to elect politicians well under 6 feet, calling the heights of politicians under 6 feet "Loser heights"... The US shouldn't be so idolized when even it's own government approves of the way "short" men are treated! And if you’re going to tell deny this to me, then why hasn’t the US had any presidents as short as 5′7 in over a century??
Every time you turn on the TV on an American channel, the only men you see being featured in all American media are 6 feet and above. Usually whenever you see actors under 6 feet, they’re usually British, because American men are “supposed” to be “Tall”… Actresses in movies are usually around 5′7 and taller, and they’re always paired with actors 6 feet and over. Sandra Bullock is 5′7 and is an obvious heightist, she’s only married men 6 feet and over throughout her life, and in movies she’s only paired with men 6 feet and over. Apparently heightists become the most successful actresses… Whenever you walk downtown in any city in the US, you’re walking past mannequins where the female mannequins are all like 5′10, and every male mannequin are like 6 feet and above. Apparently those mannequins represent how human beings are supposed to look… American women are “supposed” to be around 5′7 and 5′10, and American men are “supposed” to be 6 feet and over… And if you're male, and people notice you're shorter than those female mannequins, they'll just look down on you. Men shorter than average get treated unfairly (Even by their own teachers when they were young), while “tall” men are treated like their height is a privilege…
In the US, if you’re 6 feet or over, everyone around you automatically assume you’re successful, rich, and a nice guy. But if you’re under 6 feet, everyone just assumes the opposite, and will look down on you. The US also has way too many wealthy young people, and of course the guys have to be 6 feet and over and the women need to look like models... Literally about every 6 foot guy you see have girlfriends or are married, and these women usually look like trophy girlfriends. While most men shorter than average you see in the US are single.
And don’t even get me started on the women here… The women in the US are the worst and least feminine, as they only want “tall” guys, and are very slutty, constantly going to shallow clubs and parties. These women dress super slutty, and attend these shallow environments and swoon at men/guys 6 feet and over. And whenever a guy under 6 feet dares to say anything to them, they say "Ew! Fuck off loser!"... Your parents should be real proud. Women in the US are known for having the most beautiful and feminine faces, and with large breasts, wide hips, and thin waists, and are usually tall themselves, and they only want guys EVEN TALLER than them… Los Angeles is easily the worst city in terms of this, the women there have all those features and wear revealing clothing. And they’re only interested in the 1% 6 foot tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed, white guy. Literally 90% of ads scattered throughout the US feature 6 foot tall men with faces that look very similar to his. American women since high school are constantly talking and thinking about ideal men, and they always have to be “Tall”. People claim that American women are known for being obese, NO, American women are known for being shallow and slutty. The vilification of American women shouldn’t be something you’ve never heard before, Information on American women being being undateable compared to foreign women is all over the web, and literally this is the only site where people disagree with this. Women are also overprotected in the US, and they use their privileges to their advantage in life. Whenever I see couples in the US where the girl is taller or the same height as her partner, they’re 90% of the time foreign couples. Just so you all know, I’m not looking for dates, I’m just pointing out what the women in this country are like. So no, I’m not an incel. This has got nothing to do with me, I’m speaking for everyone else.
Welcome to America…
I need advice on how to handle the situation I feel like I've gone crazy.
My Nephew (20M) (I would just like to Preface he's on the fruity side. Absolutely nothing against that.), and his Mum (About 42F) has been staying with me (25F), my mother (59F) and older sister (33F) for about a year now.
It started small, but he's been slowly hoarding our decorative items from the house into his bedroom. He takes all the expensive bed sheets and decor without asking, even though I've told him explicitly not to and it messes with the whole aesthetic of the house it drives me crazy.
There was a major incident where I found him smoking in one of the bedrooms. I got so mad and forced him to move to a bedroom closer to us so he couldn't smoke in the bedroom without us knowing. I told him I don't care that he smokes but DO IT OUTSIDE. I didn't tell my mum, until he did it again and I had no other choice but to tell her. But all he got was a slap on the wrist, because my mum didn't know what else to do, the most infuriating thing is that no one in my 25 years of existence had ever smoked in our home before and this guy thinks he can just come here and smoke in our house?
Anyways, since they've been staying here for a year, mind you they do not pay any rent or put any money towards utilities and groceries. It wasn't until recently that my mum put her foot down to get them to pay for their own food, and soon they will be paying weekly for the rooms they're staying in. They also use my mum's car for work and frequently ask us to drop them to and from the train station when needed.
We then started to notice the water and electricity bill was getting really high. Then realised that our Nephew was running himself a bath in the guest bedroom bathtub every second or third day.
Another time, I had an expensive face serum I purchased from a laser clinic, I asked everyone where it was and he nonchalantly brought it out of his room because he was using it and didn't even think twice before going in my bathroom and taking it without asking.
Then there was another instance where some of our nice vases were missing, we asked him and he pulled them out of his room. We went to go set up our nice floor lamp another time, only to find that he's taken it and put it in his room as well.
Another time I noticed he put up onto the wall a metal grid that I had purchased for myself, it was a black metal grid that came with little clips so you can clip up your Polaroid pictures. When I had put that in the garage it was sealed and brand new. But there it was, he had opened it up without even asking me. It felt absolutely violating to have someone open something of yours that you hadn't gotten around to yet, and to have the audacity to not even ask or have any regard towards the owner of the said piece of property.
I purchased several Dusk Candles which are quite pricey, and purchased them solely for show for the guest bedroom and never to actually burn them. He burned through several of them before I found out.
Fast forward to Christmas 2023, things had cooled down, and I decided why not, I'll try and be nice and I bought him an expensive Versace Perfume. Him? He got me a Dusk candle with a little fancy metal clip that dangled and rotated when the candle was lit. He also bought my sister a Swarovski Christmas Tree Ornament.
Now we're close to Christmas 2024, him and his mother are out of town visiting some other family, I was looking for several of our belongings from the kitchen and the media room, I found one of our old Massage guns I was looking for, and a special mug that we got gifted a while back. I absolutely know it's wrong to snoop in his room, but that's the thing, he snoops all over our house, I've caught him and confronted him previously about taking things from some of my boxes from the Media room after catching him on the Google Camera I planted in there. And that's the thing he so confidently went through my things when I saw him on camera, so it's a wonder how much of my stuff he's gone through in the garage and shed, as well as my Mothers room which is never locked (I had finally put a Google Camera in her room too.) Anyways, so yeah, he's snooped through a lot of our rooms so I went through his, I felt dirty doing it, but when I went in his room, I saw he had taken back the candle he bought me for Christmas, which I had placed in front of my deceased father's portrait when he first got it for me, I hadn't even had a clue when he removed it from there I never noticed. But that just really rubbed me the wrong way, and he had taken the Swarovski Crystal Ornament and it's box and put it back in his room.
That was the last straw, so I took back the expensive Versace Perfume I got for him.
The frustrating part is he tries to act like a sweetheart, and he doesn't care that what he's doing is inconveniencing and frustrating the people around him. It's like he doesn't have a conscience.
(Note: They are both from Fiji, my mother paid for their immigration fees and tuition fees to get them to Australia, which they still have not paid back the full amount for her paying for those things, and now they are moving to New Zealand because they were offered PR there or something idk something to do with immigration status)
I just feel so exhausted and absolutely taken advantage of, there are many other instances, like in the room he smoked in, there was a $5000 adjustable bed, that we were only able to sell for $900 because the smoke smell had gotten into it. Then there's the bathroom where he frequently took baths, he never opened the window, and it wasn't until last month when we peeked in there because we had electricians over changing out all the old Halogen light bulbs to LED sockets that we went in there and looked up at the ceiling to see it had started to grow mould on the ceiling. Then there's the time when I was running late for my driver's test, I was going through some of the notes and he offered to get out of the car to refuel it, he asked us "Do you want me to put 95?" (since it's a petrol car.) And my mum and I said yes, 95...and this guy was taking his time, we looked back to see what was taking so long and he had FILLED DIESEL INTO OUR PETROL CAR. So of course I was late to the practice drivers test I had already paid for and had to forfeit that money, then we made him pay for to have the fuel siphoned out of the car. It's all so disappointing, frustrating and upsetting. I just keep telling myself I only gotta put up with his BS for only one more week.
What can I do in this situation, and how do I handle the situation because I've been seeing some posts on their Facebook from other people that they're essentially the victims in this situation.
...and I don't care if someone says 'well there's nothing they can do about that! You need to just wear noise-canceling ear phones!' - no. It's still goddamn annoying AF!
Also, it seems suspicious why they are taking several months just to repair a damn sidewalk.
For context, I moved in with my fiance and his dad a few months ago. I went on a walk about a month ago, and there were two loose dogs on my street and they were acting really crazed, like barking and growling but not in a playful manner. About a week later, I took another walk, and the same dogs actually attacked me this time! They ran up to me, growled at me, lunged at me and tried to bite me! I told my fiance I want to call the police but he said let's just see if it happens ONE more time. Well, this morning my father in law was walking, and the same dog attacked him too. Tried to bite him, and he kicked the dog and his shoe flew off. I narrowed the owners down to two houses, because thats the area the dogs were in all 3 times. My fiance called animal control this morning.
I posted this in a different sub but really feel like it needs a place here.
Carvana has a new feature to track the value of a car and it is 100% out of touch with reality. The commercial shows Kristen Bell and Dax Shepherd tracking their cars on the carvana app with the values rising. They then say “let’s track all our cars”. Then the camera pans to “all their cars”. More cars than most Americans will own in their lifetime. I feel like this is tone deaf given the current state of inflation and how many Americans are struggling to even put food on the table. Or hoping their car will crank or keep working despite that weird noise because they can’t afford to fix it. Anyways. I hated that commercial.
The reason I find this extremely infuriating is it seems like corporate America (at least those in making the final decisions in corporate America) are just a bunch of Marie Antoinettes stuffing themselves with cakes (cars) and not realizing the average American struggles to have one or two cars. Are they really that disassociated from the struggles of most Americans to think we have all these cars to value? And what average American is going to have a car that’s value increases??? I’m sorry that my ten year old Kia isn’t exactly tracking upwards. I’m just praying it holds together for another ten years as I can’t afford a new car.
Side note: this commercial would have knocked it out of the park (for me) if they said “let’s track all our cars” and then the camera panned to show them using the app to track the value of on their kids hot wheels. That would have been hilarious.
