I feel like it’s already a bad idea to jaywalk on busy streets, but I think it’s an even worse idea to do it in really dark clothing.
Edit: Jaywalking in the dark, in the dark clothing.
For some reason i’m seeing a no parking at high bulb park signs from November 8 through April 1. Does anyone know what is going on?
I am hoping to find some cool spaces to spend evening/weekends here in the area.
We occasionally go down to the Third Place books and commons down in Lake Forest Park and they have some cool events like talks and live music etc on the weekends -- but that's quite a hike away.
Is there something similar in the area? Or Mukilteo, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mill Creek etc.
What are some cool bars with live music, theatres , book shops, cafes that you hang out at?
I’m moving to Everett and have a Amazon job lined up, the area I’m moving to is near Holly Drive. Are there any gamers in Everett that like to go out and go to the occasional bar or what not? I’d like to make as many friends as possible.
SnoCo Movie Club will be screening Shaolin Soccer (2001) at the Everett Public Library auditorium on Saturday, November 23rd! More info at linktr.ee/snocomovieclub
Synopsis: Sing is a skilled Shaolin kung fu devotee whose amazing "leg of steel" catches the eye of a soccer coach. Together they assemble a squad of Sing's former Shaolin brothers, inspired by the big-money prize in a national soccer competition. Using an unlikely mix of martial arts and newfound soccer skills, it seems an unbeatable combination until they face the dreaded Team Evil in the ultimate battle for the title.
Warehouse will still be there just no more pick up or UPS customer service.
Someone probably from forest department came and put some pink flags around a plant (supposedly desert broom/scotch broom). I live in Washington State. Would anyone know what this means?
ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT. If anyone’s interested in grabbing up some flaky goodness, here’s the link

Hi, just moved to Everett. I have a Chevy Equinox. I see a lot of SUVs around here with the all terrain Falken Wildpeak Trail tires. I'm trying to decide if that's really necessary. I might go up to up to Stevens pass or over to Leavenworth a couple times this winter. Maybe down to Bend to ski Mt. Bachelor. Currently, just have the standard tires that come with the vehicle, highway tires, I guess. Anyway, are all terrain really necessary around here? Thanks for any input.
Hello, Everett! We recently moved to the area, and I’m looking to put my skills to good use locally.
Back where we lived, I worked as a Facilities Manager and ran a home maintenance and repair business. I’d love to offer similar services here, helping with anything from light remodels to appliance troubleshooting.
For those familiar with the area: where would you recommend posting about handyman or home repair services? Are there any local online boards, Facebook groups, or other places you’d suggest? Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any tips, and I’m looking forward to getting involved in the community!

Hi there, I work in the Community Engagement department at KUOW, Seattle's NPR-member station. Our newsroom are working to figure out what the new state and federal governments mean for Washingtonians and that means hearing what matters to you.
How are you feeling about a second Trump Administration, and why? How would promises made during President-elect Donald Trump's campaign change your day-to-day life? What are you anticipating?
How are you feeling about the local results in Washington? How do you anticipate Bob Ferguson's work as Governor will impact your day-to-day life?
Fill in our form and your stories will help shape our reporting to be most valuable to you.
Found at Boxcar Park right next to The Muse. I set in on the log right next to where I found it.
Hi! I’m moving to Everett soon and I was wondering if you guys had any places you like. I’d like a gym if possible. :) thanks!
This Saturday is the annual Mukilteo School District holiday craft fair.
Why post this notice in an Everett group, you ask? Many of our Mukilteo School District schools are located in Everett. 😉
The annual craft fair features a huge number of vendors all selling different things that make great gifts for the holidays. There is usually someone that selling delicious little nibbles and it’s just a fun atmosphere for everyone.
The best part is that the Booth fees are used to find scholarships for graduating seniors in the district each spring.
Come join in the fun at Kamiak High School this Saturday, November 9 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Now that the elections are over are people still in the market especially for less than 550k houses? Are you more inclined to wait until things settle? I’m trying to decide what to do myself.
Going to be moving to Everett in January, hoping to build a community when I get there so I’m not lonely for toooo long :) I live in Spokane currently and frequent a local pottery studio that is open to the public beyond taking classes. For a monthly fee you get access to wheels, can have things put in the kilns and some access to studio glazes. It’s a wonderful place to spend my free time and Im wondering if there is a place like this around Everett?
Hi! I’m moving to Everett in December. I was wondering what people know about lumen apartments and if you guys have any apartments recs! Thanks!
East bound Everett Mall Way has one lane closed at 7th Ave SE.
There is a work crew and an excavator working at the SE corner of the intersection. No idea what they are doing.
Traffic is light and any delay is minor.
