So I guess I'm an "old timer" considering getting involved again? I was in dreddit back in Fountain, and them for a while in Catch, but RL made EVE time much more casual, and a few years of unsubbing to win... but I've been playing solo now for about 5 months again and wondering if old people are still around, and if the current iteration of TEST is still low-key enough for a full-on RL grownup, or if things became srsbznss spaceships. I see that the EVE reddit corp isn't even really in reddit anymore (but TBH, I'm rarely here too...)

Older player here who hasn’t been online in a long while. Is TEST still a thing? I see the alliance holds some sov but the sub is quiet.

A few years back a corp I was in was in TEST, I just got back in the game, and rejoined that corp/alliance but I am not happy... I have 10 accts set up for mining, with 1 miner also for space trucking, and my OG able to do some PVP and fleet ops for mining. Like an ORCA. I'm working on getting all the AUTH done, but would also like a contact in game if possible. I do ave AUTH done with 1 toon atm...

Did TEST disband? Where is TEST sov now?

Hey guys, all of my buddies and myself no longer really play the game. I poked around a couple discords like Nalio's and Danktor's but didn't find anybody who knew, so I thought I'd ask about it here. There's this particular art asset I got from the wiki back in the day of MMD, but he's sort of like an adeptus mechanicus hacker dino. Couldn't find the original image anywhere, and since I haven't played EVE in like ten years I can't log into the wiki and look for it either.

hey everyone!

Long story short, I'm a sociology bachelor student, and I am looking for my bachelor thesis paper which will need to be done by june next year. I've been therefore trying to find a topic that might interest me, and recently stumbled on a bunch of youtube videos about the economics of Eve which has in all honesty absolutely fascinated me.

I've therefore been hearing a lot about some different "corporations" "alliances" and so forth, with you guys' name popping up quite a bit. But in all honesty this all still seems a little confusing to me.

Anyway the general idea is that I want to take an organisation, and understand a little more organisational structure, what makes you guys work together, your organisational culture, effectiveness and so forth for an organisation.

So, my first step is just understanding first the timelines and basic information, do you guys know where I can find a good source on the basics of eve, TEST/other alliances (??), and their history?

When I tried to validate this Reddit Account per a testpleaseignore bot mail, it said in red on the form: does not accept direct messages.

so i fixed up ye ole shitbox craptop and logged in. smokes booted me from brandnew so well theres that.. the game logged me in to a BLEEP BLOOP BLARP GGNNNEEAARRRRR clusterfuck and i was undocked in a niddhogur in Q1- and there were 3 reds in system lol... i think my ships is still unmolestard.. but how was i not in a station??

How would you as current members of Dreddit describe the culture of the corporation? Are you tryhards or casual? Who are your favorite FCs to fly with? What makes your fleets fun? I have been a member of Dreddit since the beginning but stopped playing for personal reason in 2016 and was cut from membership in early 2017. I was hoping that I could discuss these circumstances and potentially rejoin but I don't see a way to discuss on the Test forums.

It's been an eternity since the last time i said Hi but I didn't want to miss the chance.

Once upon a time, TEST meant pretty much everything to me. Sometimes I find myself looking back to those days with a lot of nostalgia and I still peek from time to time to r/EVE and laugh with how things may never change.

I am happy that TEST has never lost it's identity and it is still going strong and healthy.

I pulled a Shadoo and moved to Australia last year. It's been awesome and I think I will stay here for a while. I remind every so often how we used to laugh at the UTC+11 shenanigans and now that I am part of this side of the world I understand a lot of things, hehe.

I wanted to say Hi and to let you guys know that you matter and if this year has been specially tough on you, hold your hopes a little bit because if I learned something out of my years in TEST is that when you do that and you stick together and you fight against the odds, in the end things will work out.

I hope you guys keep being awesome and have fun as always.
