Hello all I am needing a nail salon rec! Recently moved here for work and have tried 2 nail salons. Both experiences just ok but I got dip and both only lasted 2.5 weeks. My previous nail salon would do essentially a russian manicure and my dip manicures looked flawless 5 weeks and lasted 7 if necessary lol. I know I was blessed with my last place and not to mention it was so cheap it felt criminal not to tip 25%.
Anyone have a recommendation for a nail salon that is clean (maybe actually sanitizes stuff😅), does good cuticle work, and can make it last at least 3 weeks?
Thank you!!
I’m an old guy researching this for fun (mainly because I have no social life).
I would love to spend some time checking out about a 150 mile radius of Evansville for anything Underground Railroad.
Thanks in advance!
Is there anyone else in the Evansville area that is into the paranormal/esoteric type stuff. I feel like I’m a little out of place here.
My experience as someone who recently moved here from Florida has been interesting. There's a lot of unhappy folk here. What's something we can all do to genuinely brighten a strangers day? How can we come together as a community to help each other be better? Give me some of your best ideas, and I'm going to try them out.
Anyone know a good shop that can test/ and or replace an EV battery?
I'm almost done with filling out my mail ballot..

Anyone here have more info on these people? Couldn't find anything on Joshua James Taylor Barnett.
Thanks!
I’m looking to move to Coldwater Flats right by McGary middle school. Is that a safe area?
Does anyone know where I can drop off donations items after hours? It will be mostly household items, small furniture pieces, blankets, etc. I used to take it to the old goodwill on green river road but now I’m not sure of a place where you can leave it after hours.
Just started really getting into metal, and none of my friends like metal, where do I find my fellow metal-heads
Channel 7, 6 PM!
This situation is challenging. My friend has been couch surfing and homeless for some time due to a difficult relationship and subsequent opioid addiction, which has become a cycle. I believe I can persuade him to enter rehab. As someone who is quite straight-laced and unfamiliar with this world, I would be grateful for guidance toward a rehabilitation path that isn't overly religious or unconventional. Since he is jobless etc. Hopefully something low cost.
I just have to say, to the folks who keep going all the way down Morgan all the way to 41 after Weinbach after the sign clearly says NO TRU TRAFFIC ...
YOU CAN'T GET TO 41!
YOU CAN'T GET TO TACO BELL UNLESS YOU'RE GONNA PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET AND HOOF IT!
Please. The signs have been up for a while.
If you live in the neighborhood (as I do), then by all means, you're good. But some people, I swear ...
heading down this weekend for a concert but want to explore and do something fun during the day before concert if any locals have suggestions. 24f & 24m staying 10/4-10/6
Or are they just going to remodel?
Ceiling was water damaged. There's a section of it that needs to be replaced. It may be covered by homeowner's insurance, but I need to get estimates. Who around here is trustworthy?
The tornado in April dropped a tree on my house. The roof's fixed, we're fine, but there's still a giant pile of tree parts in my backyard that I cannot figure out what to do with.
Are branches included in fall yard waste pickup?
If not, what do I do with this tree? I don't have pocket change to hire one of those junk collection places, though I wish I did. I could borrow a friend's truck for hauling, but where would I haul the branches to?
I have an excellent job just really shitty credit looking for an affordable place to live anybody have recommendations for me?
Small business / food truck recommendations are preferred :)
Does anyone plan on going to Washington Square Mall today to see if they can spot CM Punk mall-walking?
I do not want to word vomit all of my story on to reddit, but long story short I am urgently trying to get out of the food industry. I have been a GM of 2 different restaurants over the last 4 years. Managed staff sizes ranging from 25 up to 115 currently. Experience in HVAC, Internet/Cable, manufacturing/factory work, and logistics sales. Wide range of experience, but thought i found my passion in food. I'm burnt out and tired of working 70+hrs every week on top of the never ending cycle of what feels like lies, dancing around questions, and underpaying/misleading employees. Maybe management isn't for me anymore, I don't know, but either way I just want out and I'm open to hearing pretty much any suggestions. I just want time with my family again.
I've applied to Cintas, a slew of financial offices/sales positions, and several General warehouse positions, but now that seems to be all Indeed/LinkedIn seems to recommend to me. I'm a competent, hardworking guy, and I'm willing to make a lot of sacrifices if it's in the name of growth and helping my family. Like a lot of us out here, I'm feeling more and more trapped every day and I'm just looking for some help or a push in another direction.
Hi all, you’ve been so helpful before that I decided to come back.
Looking for a gym, and I’m ruled by monthly membership cost right now. I want the cheapest possible, if it can be flexible enough with facility & equipment access. I’m a fan of free weights primarily, selectorized equipment is fine if paired with free weights, and I’d really love a cycle/pool/hiit something to spice up the workouts weekly.
I live in melody hill vicinity, bobs on lynch is closest, but left a lot to the imagination for $$. Thanks in advance!
Because they're fucking awful. The entire west side is torn up in varying states while the Lloyd is also closed to one lane both ways so people are trying to use side roads as alternatives.
Now I just saw the water department is going to "relocate water lines" on ANOTHER road on the west side, all this right before the damn fall festival that already shuts down half the west side.
I understand projects need to be done, but spread shit out to different areas or actually work on things and finish them before starting another.
Looking for recommendations for a good motorcycle mechanic in the area. Preferably one that would work on a custom bike. Thanks!
