Please be sure to follow the rules, our bots are pretty much mercyless when it comes to violations.
The one most important rule out of all 12 is:
be positive! No-one in here wants to see any negativity.
Different regions make their dishes differently: all of them are acceptable. That means: cream in the Carbonara is ok, as is a Pizza Hawaii.
Thank you!

A small charcuterie board for a fundraising Afternoon Tea event tomorrow. The boards are for snacking on whilst listening to the harp and some music, before the main event of Afternoon Tea. Crackers, pretzels, cashew nuts and more to be added tomorrow beforehand.
Half a duck each. Traditionally you’d have red cabbage and dumplings with it. We had fried potatos and carmelized carrots in orange sauce.
I am having some nice prawns and "ensaladilla rusa" (an Spanish dish made with potatoes, tuna, mayonnaise and other vegetables)
It was actually pretty good, tasted like the medium quality ones in Budapest. I tried to dip a piece of it into milk, but it didn't do much.
Just a quick, sweet snack for my BIL.
Dinner tonight. Bœf Bourguignon with roasted potatos.
Portuguese pork and clams and a small bowl of potato and kale soup (Caldo Verde) to start. These dishes, some bread and a nice white wine (a Vinho Verde?) is dinner time bliss.
Baked Cod with fried potatos and Brussels sprouts with a white wine mustard sauce
