Please be sure to follow the rules, our bots are pretty much mercyless when it comes to violations.
The one most important rule out of all 12 is:
be positive! No-one in here wants to see any negativity.
Different regions make their dishes differently: all of them are acceptable. That means: cream in the Carbonara is ok, as is a Pizza Hawaii.
Thank you!

Today I decided to make poale-n brâu, some traditional pastries from the Moldavian region of Romania, where I’m from. In my family, these were always special. My dad used to bake them on Sunday afternoons, filling the house with a great smell of sweet, freshly baked dough. Their name, which roughly translates to 'tucked-in at the waist', like the way the dough is folded over a sweet cheese filling. Making them today brought back so many warm memories of home and family.
Bacon wrapped pork medallions, potato dumplings, and cauliflower in gorgonzola sauce.
Stir-fried with shallot, kale, leek, ginger, garlic, galanga, kentjoer, rawit and cooking wine. Yum!
Gravlax, potatoes, onion, dill, eggs, milk, heavy cream, butter, salt and white pepper.
I love working from home. I cannot imagine going back to the office. A bit of a downside to that is, I think, that after some long hours I neither want to get dressed properly nor do I want to leave the house. So I have to make due with what’s there.
Schweinenackensteak (pork neck steaks), mushrooms and onions.
Leftover bœf from yesterday. Today with fried potatos. Way better than those aweful dumplings.
The best comfort food for cold weather.
Beef cubes with sauce over potato dumplings (the dry kind. they sucked).
All homemade except the mini muffins
