The secrets of the ancient beer, aluda/aludi. I brew and taste these beers whilst uncovering its past and present.
Hello everybody,
My uni colleagues and I are conducting research regarding the beer consumption market in France, Hungary, and the United Kingdom. We want to gather as much data as possible to further serve us as information to base an advertising campaign on, for an international competition.
Would you be kind enough to take 2 or 3 minutes from your day to answer a few questions regarding this topic? We would really, really appreciate it!
Don’t worry, there is no personal information required and all your answers are anonymous. All data will be used for academic purposes and if you don’t feel comfortable sharing any particular info, you don’t have to.
So please, if you feel like it, help some fellows students out. We’ll virtually *cheer* with you afterward :)
Here's the questionnaire- https://forms.gle/GJaBX5dgSaDqfPuM7
Note- This survey also includes questions regarding Asahi beer. I am not associated with the brand in any way, I am not promoting their products nor trying to convince you of anything. I am simply trying to gather data about beer consumption and your perspective of the brand for a fictive campaign. You can skip the brand-related questions, should they bother you.
First off, sorry if this shouldn't be posted here! Happy to post elsewhere if there is a better option.
I'm selling my ticket to Baghaven Wild Ale Celebration as personal things have got in the way of the trip. Ticketmaster have agreed to help transfer it to someone else if I find a buyer so there shouldn't be any shady stuff.
It's an ORANGE ticket to both sessions on Saturday 8th Feb at the Baghaven brewery in Copenhagen. It looks to be a great event, im pretty sad I can't go but hope someone can use my ticket. More details at the insta here: https://instagram.com/wildalecelebration2020
I paid 750,DKK which is around £84.70 or $111.25 but I'm open to all sensible offers. PM me if interested!
I've used Belgium in a Box in the past for Cantillon and 3F shipments to the US and had great experiences, but they are out of almost everything right now. finestbelgianbeers.com seems to have great availability. Shipping is spendy, but I can live with that if they are legit and well regarded. Anyone use them before? Thank you!
Hey anyone here from or has been to Helsinki with any recommendations of good pubs with lots of local beers on tap?
I don't know the correct term for it, one of those nice bottle baskets you see it being served in, are they available to buy? I'm off to Bruges next month and would like to pick one up
I have only had the 2,8 %. It is my favourite beer. It is good? Do you get drunk fast?
Hi everybody, for my blog I am interested about the popularity of Belgian beer in the world. For this, I am conducting a survey. Who wants to help? Sending it to other Belgian beer enthusiasts is very appreciated :) https://goo.gl/forms/CDD3cJK19f2LothN2
I'd like to get a nice list maybe per country or where they are willing to ship. More than happy to compile and have it as a permanent link here on Eurobeer. Just send me what you got.
Hey people, I've been trying to get my hands on some Tynt Meadows, the Trappist beer out of Mount St Bernard Abbey. They sell some at the Abbey store and possibly in the surrounding towns. Don't think they ship out here to Munich.
Here's the location: https://goo.gl/maps/XxYkXaJ9eaH2
Anyone who thinks they can get me a bottle or case even and ship it, I'm willing to get you some German, Bavarian, craft or kloster beer in exchange and ship it your way.
Thanks!
I'm heading over to France next month to Marsielle / Avignon / North-East provence and wondered if there is any beer or breweries worth hunting out. Alternatively which beers should I look out for in the supermarkets? Thanks!
Hey everyone- heading to Greece next week (Athens and Mykonos mainly) and was wondering if there are any breweries I should be on the lookout for? Never really think of Greece as a beer haven, but worth a shot!
Hello, I live in San Francisco with my Dutch wife and we are spending February in AMS + Volendam. February in Volendam...what an odd vacation! We also will be in Belgium for several days.
Looking to setup a bottleshare with some people who have some heavy hitters to share. That's the point of this post, but I'm also looking to set up some trades.
For example, I have:
Russian River: early batches of Beatification, Supplication, Temptation, can get fresh Pliny
pretty much everything from the Rare Barrel
lots of Cascade, including vintage
Abyss vertical
Firestone anniversary, back to 11
Eclipse variants, including first-year pappy 23 bottling
vintage Bourbon County (2008+) and variants, 2011 King Henry
La Folie cork & cage
lots of big barrel-aged stouts from the Bruery (Black Tuesday, Choc Rain, Grey Monday)
dark lord vertical
and can get local fresh IPAs and maybe NE if we arrange it quickly
and a ton of other beers
I'll be staying in Volendam (in-laws) but easily can get to Amsterdam. In mid-Feb I'll be in West Belgium, hopefully.
Cheers
-Scott
