Bitte bitte bitte geht am 9. Juni alle für die Stadt Umlandbahn abstimmen. Durch die Verbindung von Herzogenaurach über Erlangen mit Nürnberg bieten sich viele neue Möglichkeiten in der Region. Des weiteren braucht der Erlanger ÖPNV ein weiteres Standbein abseits dem Straßenverkehr, da die Straßen einfach überlastet sind gerade zu den Stoßzeiten. Deswegen denkt an die Rentner, die Schüler und alle anderen Altersgruppen und stimmt für sie stub und die Zukunft der Stadt Erlangen Kussi😘

Ich such nach paar Jungs und Mädels die einfach nur auf dumm rum fahren wollen und aus Erlangen und Umgebung kommen. Alles außer GS-Fahrer ist gern gesehen :) Fahre selbe ne 701 aber noch auf A2 gedrosselt

Mein Partner und ich versuchen gerade, uns für eine Kinderkrippe für unser Kind zu entscheiden. Wir haben zwei Plätze bekommen, einen bei WoKi in Herzo (über meinen Arbeitgeber) und einen bei der Parikita Kuschelecke in der Innenstadt. Wir haben viel Feedback (positiv und negativ) von WoKi gehört, aber eigentlich nicht viel von der Kuschelecke, also wollte ich wissen, ob jemand hier ein paar Einblicke geben kann. Die wenigen Dinge, die ich von der Kuschelecke sehen konnte, sahen gut aus (nettes Personal das nicht viel wechselt, in der Nähe unsere Wohnung, entspannter), aber ich würde gerne, wenn möglich, Erfahrungen von anderen Eltern hören 😊.

My partner and I are currently trying to decide for a crèche (nursery) for our kid. We got two spots, one at WoKi in Herzo (through my employer) and one at the Parikita Kuschelecke in the city center. We have heard a lot of feedback (good and bad) from WoKi, but actually not a lot from the Kuschelecke so I wanted to know if someone here can provide some insights. The few things that I could see from the Kuschelecke looked good (lovely staff that doesn’t rotate much, close to our house, more laid back) but I would like to get to know some experience from other parents if possible. I just wanted to ask the fellow students living there already for any tips, information i should have about it? Idk how to put this lol i am just trying to get insights. Hopefully some of you can provide some information? As i am also fairly new in Germany as well so maybe some information regarding it or some tips would be helpful.

Am 09.06. findet zusammen mit der Europawahl der Bürgerentscheid zum Bau der Stadt-Umland-Bahn in Erlangen statt.

Als Befürworter der StUB und Unterstützer der Initiative „WIR PRO StUB“ möchte ich daher hier einmal die Werbetrommel rühren: wenn ihr in Erlangen gemeldet seid und EU-Bürger, geht bitte am 09.06. wählen oder nehmt per Briefwahl am Bürgerentscheid teil.

Was ist die StUB?

Die StUB ist die Verlängerung der Nürnberger Straßen nach Erlangen und Herzogenaurach (StUB L-Netz). Sie verbindet die drei Städte Herzogenaurach, Erlangen und Nürnberg künftig auf einer 26km langen Strecke mit 31 Haltestellen. Dabei fährt sie umsteigefrei von Herzogenaurach bis zum Plärrer durch und von dort weiter zum Dutzendteich oder Gibitzenhof. Sie ist eine nachhaltige, barrierearme und kostengünstige Alternative, mit der man im Berufsverkehr am Stau vorbeifährt. Auf ihrer Strecke erschließt sie viele wichtige Universitäts-, Schul- und Unternehmensstandorte sowie Siedlungsgebiete und stellt eine nachhaltige Mobilitätsmöglichkeit vor allem für die große Zahl der Pendlerinnen und Pendler dar.

Die Verlängerung nach Uttenreuth, Neunkirchen und Eckental (Ostast) ist ebenfalls in Planung. Ein Nordwestast, wie er in den 90igern nach Höchstadt (Aisch) über Dechsendorf, Röttenbach, Hemhofen und Adelsdorf geplant war, ist in den Flächennutzungsplänen ebenfalls vorgesehen.

Ich (M19) bin ein schüchterner Typ, der oft Schwierigkeiten hat, alleine irgendwo hinzugehen und neue Leute kennenzulernen. Es fällt mir schwer, Motivation zu finden, um aus meiner Komfortzone herauszukommen und soziale Situationen zu meistern. Aber ich habe erkannt, dass ich gerne mehr Freunde hätte und dass es wichtig ist, über meinen Schatten zu springen, um neue Verbindungen zu knüpfen.

I am an international student and recently I have received an admit letter to pursue master's degree in the Advanced materials and processes at FAU.Is anyone in this subreddit going to study the same or currently studying the same? If yes, please provide your feedback. I am pretty much drawn to the curriculum structure and willing to take this course on upcoming winter semester.

Also, I would really appreciate if you provide any tips regarding finding an accomodation, student jobs for an international student. I have already applied for an accomodation through studentenwerk and mobility. Do i need to look on any private websites?
