Is usps delivering mail on west side ?
Plow and a front loader just ripped through the neighborhood at 130am. After 5 days of trying to dig myself out on the east side, I have work in 6 hours, they leave a rock the size of my car in the driveway. When I flag them down they flip me off and do it to two other neighbors. Plow 1971.
With this snow a lot of places have paused deliveries, if not all business, until we can dig out. Completely understandable, but still inconvenient. I know some uber drivers have been working and grocery deliveries have been really hard to come by. Has anyone heard of a business called NE Deliveries? I saw the facebook page while searching, but found minimal info. Like, one of the drivers is apparently named Joe, which tells me nothing. lol. Is this a legit thing? I don’t want to be scammed if I reach out.
New to the area and looking for a place to practice defensive snow driving and spinning out etc. Are there any spots for it? Would law enforcement count it as "reckless driving etc"? What's your experience?
How does this even happen?
I work for Lindy Paving (the Pittsburgh branch), we're out here 24/7 through Wednesday night clearing the bulk of snow so the plows can get caught up. You guys weren't kidding, it's crazy up here!
I can’t find any current information on Erie County Farms online. Trying to find out if they are still in business.
Missed shopping for Black Friday because of this snow. Don’t wanna miss today as well
I'm looking to buy precut maple firewood (or any other slow-burning wood) to use in my fireplace. Anyone got some wood they want to sell?
I’m looking for a nice dinner I can order for take out for the wife’s birthday.
We had planned on going out Saturday before the snow storm and wanted to get something nice to bring home today to make up for it getting pushed out.
It looks like a milk truck was hit at the Raspberry rail crossing. If you're trekking out today, Greengarden, Pittsburgh Ave, and other crossings are blocked.
Planning a trip to Splash Lagoon in January! Can anyone recommend a restaurant nearby?
They’re seriously deciding to stay open today? There’s still travel restrictions, buses aren’t running, streets are still incredibly horrible…
Wish a good forum for food reviews existed that isn’t moderated by weirdos who love boomer Facebook drama. I’d kill for an honest review of Sauce where the reviewer doesn’t end up being threatened in some way shape or form.
I'm not even looking any more for this week, but more generally for the rest of the year, can people recommend a specific plow or snowthrower service that is reliable? I'm in West erie near 8th st if it matters.
I am looking for an opportunity to earn about ten service hours. I usually volunteer for festival of trees and zoo boo. I am looking for something similar to those events, but anything that I can do for a few days would work. I am not interested in something that would require, like, a month long commitment.
Been wanting to go, but I’ve heard it’s a ghetto bar. That said, it has good reviews on google.
Is it a decent crowd?
I understand roads are horrible. I wonder if mail is being delivered or picked up for houses, or picked up from drop boxes around town. I have a return that needs to be posted by Tuesday.
Currently work for a local EMS company, it’s absolutely miserable and I want out. Unfortunately EMS is really the only thing in my resume up until this point. My only concern is trying to make my vehicle payment when it comes to pay.
I don't want to drop any plugs, but there is a $3.99/mo bundle deal going on and I'm binging on the X-Men series tonight. It could not have come at a better time.

I've lived through numerous winter storms here over the decades, but I have to say that the response from the county and city to this one is by far the worst I've ever seen. Even the Christmas storm of 2017 wasn't this bad of a shit show, hell the day after christmas I could at least get around (albeit slowly), but this time...almost all of the streets that aren't main streets are a complete shit show. Cars all over the place and zero plow trucks in sight. How in the hell were they this unprepared, the NWS in Cleveland was giving about 72 hours notice that this storm was going to be intense. Does Elmer fud not believe in listening to the experts? I know I can't be alone in feeling this pissed off right now.
Why in the heck did they move to what seems like a smaller location with less parking?!
Is the snow packed enough? Anybody out there yet?
Are there any places actually open? Just in case I want to run the dog sled team. I am hoping not for employees sake, but if so... might as well make it worth their while and add some extra to the tip.
