eospyo - a python signing library for eosio chains - Pomelo donations closing

The purpose of eospyo is to make it easy to interact with blockchains from backend python services. Our goal is to make eospyo the de facto python library for eosio. This project is a joint-venture between FACINGS (facings.io) and DLT (https://detroitledger.tech/).

We believe it would be beneficial to the eosio ecosystem to extend the library to attract many developers that are learning to program and using python. Additionally, some education entities are switching long time used languages to python in their introductory courses² this would lead to even a greater popularity of python among the new generation of programmers.

Although there are others python libraries to interact with eosio networks we believe that eospyo project is the only one suitable for wide production use, like eosjs.

EOSIO contract for swapping tokens

Hi all,

I'm playing around with eosio and trying to write a contract that swaps tokens. I didn't find any example, article, or helpful docs about this topic. Therefore, I wanted to ask here if someone already implemented an example or know where can I get helpful information.

I asked on the discord channel, but apparently, no one has an idea.

Can't find build.sh or eosio_install.sh

hey guys i have recently installed EOSIO following the technique bellow: https://steemit.com/eos/@tokenika/installing-and-running-eos-on-windows but i can not find the build.sh. i have also tried going threw the ./scripts directory with no luck aswell using this code ./scripts/eosio_install.sh which gives me this ":/mnt/c/Workspace/eos# ./scripts/eosio_install.sh ./scripts/eosio_install.sh: line 41: set: -i: invalid option set: usage: set [-abefhkmnptuvxBCHP] [-o option-name] [--] [arg ...]"

I am up to step 5 as bellow:

"Now you are ready to proceed with the actual compilation of the source code. This step can take several hours, depending on your computer's power, and will require you to intermittently confirm some actions and also to supply the sudo password. cd ${EOSIO_INSTALL_DIR} ./build.sh ubuntu full NOTE: As this process requires downloading a lot of files from various sources, it might fail. In this case just try running this step again."
