Every single morning he steals a hat or a slipper
I think she’s relaxed. 😆
Freshy mowed backyard=pointmania
wish I knew what his life was like before we met
She was not able to move the big stick much to her disappointment
Mine does when she’s content. If you give her the good pets especially in the face region she will put like a cat. Never seen that in a dog before lol.
I have two setters, one is 9 and one is 2. I have worked from home for 4 years but I am going to be changing soon to a normal 8-5 office job.
I’ve had hybrid office days but they were either where I was gone <8 hrs total or my parents or kids came over to let the dogs out.
I am 10 minutes from the office, and I am sure if needed I could get someone to let them out at lunch, but I am more concerned about the younger one who is extremely attached. Extremely! This is probably a 1-3 month timeframe before it happens. What could I do now to help her?
The 2 yo kennels when I am away. She would destroy my blinds and doors otherwise.
The 9 yo is not an issue. She would literally sleep on the couch all day. She doesn’t kennel anymore and hasn’t gotten to having potty issues yet.
"yo...why'd the pets stop?"
Has anyone here purchased a pup from Kyle at PRS or purchased “The Warren Way” training series and be willing to give their opinion regarding experiences compared to other kennels/training series? I’ve listened to all his “Setter Talk” podcasts and have heard him on other shows.
I’m curious to hear opinions on his training method and if you feel you truly have a “tracking” setter. I had one setter years ago I would say was a pretty natural tracker and loved hinting over him.
The fact you only get to rent his videos and have to buy them every time you purchase a pup makes me a little leery. I appreciate how Kyle seems to truly care about the well being of his dogs, but I know a few hunters who believe him to be arrogant and over the top. I think that may be unfair and he just really cares about the dogs that come from his breeding, but at the same time I see why they think that. Also, his pups are the most expensive setters I’ve seen. I’m just waffling on if the distance and money is worth it for me over a closer Llewellin breeder to me here in the Midwest. I’m a little intimidated to email him myself with questions, because I don’t want to be offend him and clearly he has pups that are highly sought after and he is very strict in the application process.
Thanks for any opinions.
Ace's favorite Elvis tune is 'you ain't nothing but a hound dog.'
It’s been some ugly weather for a week or so and when it came out we went for a walk but let him on our deck as he is still getting use to us
