My family is taking a roadtrip to Athens and we're passing near Elberton. My kids love cupcakes and I was going to get them some as a treat if they're good on the trip. I found a place on Google maps called the "Kupkake Kartel Korporate Kastle" on Addison Rd off of Hwy 17, south of town. I'd love to support one of your local small businesses but something seems a little bit... off about this place (see screenshot). Is this a real business? Are their cupcakes good, or should I just go to Walmart or something?

Does anyone know of any places where scrap rock from granite cutting can be collected for free or cheap? Looking to use them in my yard.

Hi, I was looking at this book that has all the abandoned railroads in the United States and say there was a line connecting Elberton and Washington, GA, called the Elberton & Eastern? Does anyone now where it was located or if there’s any remnants? Any history about the rail line?
