Hidoes B6 speed unlock

Hello all, just got a hidoes b6. I've tried to follow along with the unlock steps in videos posted, but it seems they've changed the layout. I go into the programing and try to adjust the speed up to P08, but mine only goes up to 05p. If anyone has recently within the last month bought one and found out how to unlock the max speed any insight would be greatly appreciated.

What manufacturer are all these ebikes coming from? Most of them look the same. If you search on Amazon you will know what I am talking about. Anyone have a clue what the manufacturer's name is ? Thanks

E-BIKE PRODUCT IDEA FOR BUSINESS CLASS.

ISO: High school student looking for anyone who’s interested in giving me 5-10 minutes of their time for an interview for my business product idea. If anyone is interested, please DM me, thank you.

Idea Solution: Integrated Anti-Theft system GPS Tracker in E-Bike.

  1. It’s GPS enabled.

  2. The app sets a radius around the E-Bike. If anyone steps near the E-Bike, phone alerts user someone has approached their E-Bike. If E-Bike begins moving, phone alerts that their E-Bike began moving along with a verification, “Is this you? Yes or No”.

  3. The Anti-Theft system is remote locking. User can remotely lock/disable their E-Bikes motor through the app through verification (PIN, Face ID, or fingerprint).

Cannondale Adventure Neo Allroad Speed Electric Bike

Newbie, ebiker here with a quick question. I am highly considering buying the Cannondale Adventure Neo Allroad Speed electric bike from REI. It is currently on sale for $1539 (normally $2200). I understand this is a class 3 bike and which means it cannot have a throttle on it, only peddle assist. Cannondale has a lower model version of this same bike (non-speed model) which is a class 2 and has the throttle switch on it (however this version comes with a smaller motor, smaller battery, no front suspension, no rack, no fenders, etc and is only $200 less). Seems like for $200 extra the Speed model is the way to go, however I really want throttle control. Is this something that can be easily added (plug and play, etc). I have searched all the forums and can't seem to find an answer if this is possible. I do understand that the throttle would be capped at 20mph (instead of 28mph which the bike is capable of, and I am fine with that). Has anyone done this and what parts I would need to order? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!

Did I accidentally disable the speed limiter on my e-bike with ⚡️?

Have two e-bikes: Ride1up LMT’D and Himiway escape.

Used the batteries as a the power source for a spot welder (very stupid I know, probably better power sources than $500 ebike batteries, but I was building something and was impatient). Basically short circuited the batteries a few times to create some hot sparks.

After reinstalling both batteries, bikes are 100% functional, batteries charge to full capacity, no problems, however it seems the speed limiter has been disabled. Both bikes were limited to about 22MPH and now can easily hit 30MPH.

What did I do?

CYC Motor Chainring Choice

I'm building an ebike with a CYC Pro 1 Gen 4 as I'll be running a 52T 104BCD chainring....... which CYC 219 sprocket is best to pair with 53T, 63T or 72T? Which 219 sprocket paired with the 52T 104BCD chainring will provide best speed, and which highest torque? Keep receiving differing points of view....

Note:

52T 104BCD chainring diameter 8.5in

53T 219 sprocket 5.5in diameter (top speed at crank 370 RPM with 72V battery)

63T 219 sprocket 6.5in diameter (top speed at crank 310 RPM with 72V battery)

72T 219 sprocket 7.5in diameter (top speed at crank 275 RPM with 72V battery)

thanks for your input.

Non-Removable hub motor... and I think its damaged or worn, how I troubleshoot?

As posted previously, my pedal assist isn't working properly. I very strongly suspect that something is wrong in the motor. I have warranty but the bike shop basically replied instantly that thats not possible. It cant be the motor, they said confidently.

  • Unlikely that its the controller because it got replaced and the problem still occurs exactly the same. This controller is also the same model and type as the original. The bike shop also said they won't get a new controller again because they cant infinitely replace the controller.
  • 100% sure the battery is fine. I have 2 batteries and have also tested them on another ebike of the same model, the issue only occurs on my bike regardless of which battery I use. It doesnt occur on the other bike with the same batteries.
  • wires? First I thought damaged wires could increase the resistance but then I remembered how ohm's law actually works and it doesnt seem logical so i don't think its wire damage.
  • the cadence sensor works properly for sure.

So if these 4 things arent the issue it can only be the motor right? Or else what electricsl part could be causing isues?

I need to troubleshoot and find out if my motor is damaged/worn/loose or somethinf since the bike.shop doesn't believe something can be weong with the motor. If I can prove or convince them that its the motor they will fix it for sure. Otherwise if it isnt the motor... that would be useful for me to know as well.

Its a geared brushless 36v motor which seems to be completely non-removable and can't be opened either. There are no bolts or screws or anything and even the spokes are stuck into the motor. I also probably can't unplug the wires without breaking stuff. Is there any kind of testing I can perforrm to make sure whether something is wrong with the motor oe nor?

Enguie EP-2 Pro

Hi guys I'm new to e biking i have rediscovered my love for cycling and the whole e bike thing is just a new hobby to me. I have a question, Mine is unlocked and I have this controller that goes up to 19P Is there any way someone can help me with a full list for this ? I have been scouring the Internet for months now. Not even the manual or anything was a help bar an old reddit post.

I am also wondering, what's the best way to tweak this bike for maximum range? I have the throttle turned off on 48v battery 12ah setting . On a frosty cold day where I'm either mountain biking or delivery driving, the bike lasts me about 20km-40km? This is for working a whole day about 6 - 9 hours even with the bike turned off. I see lots of riders doing deliveries and I'm just wondering how they're able to keep it up without having to go home and recharge ? I see them using the throttle the whole time too.

Any tips to maximise range per charge? I don't seem to be getting the advertised amount even on pedal assist with no strenuous activity on a straight enough stretch of a road back and forth.

Attached is a video, thanks !

Retrospec e-bike help needed

I have a Retrospec Valen Rev e-bike. I keep getting this notice on the display and the bike won’t turn on / power up. I’ve tried contacting Retrospec customer support but they told me to replace the display. Seems more like a battery / BMS issue. Any tips on how to fix this?

Help Diagnosing: Motor Doesn't Turn Wheel, Despite Spinning

I posted this in r/ebike, but it seems like this sub is more active, so I'll post here as well:

My geared hub motor stopped driving my rear wheel the other day.

If anyone can help me figure out what's wrong, that would be appreciated immensely. I don't really have the engineering or electrical vocabulary to talk about it intelligently, but here are videos of the open/closed motor while running. Despite the planetary gears spinning with the motor open, they don't drive the wheel.

https://youtu.be/I0m255VYRIk

https://youtu.be/F94BBatJrcI

I did just replace the planetary gear hub, but it appears to fit and spin correctly, as seen here.

https://youtu.be/8jBVR-WHz9U

Maybe it's something to do with a clutch not engaging?

Once again, any help is greatly appreciated!

Budget friendly e-bike

Hey everybody, I’m new to ebikes and am looking for one for both trails and road driving or mainly just road driving. Hoping to get one that’s decently fast and can go at least 30mph. I don’t really care too much about looks but have a cool looking bike would definitely be a bonus. Anyone know any good brands or brand models I can start looking at?

Go Trax Z4 Pro tire change

I have the above bike, just bought, and they won't let it on the front of the bus because it has fat tires. Is it terribly difficult to exchange tires for same size of regular tire, female here?

Drag with Scott Solace eRide - TQ motor.

I recently owned a Scott Solace eRide. And I discover, trip after trip, the behavior of the TQ engine.

It is indeed very quiet, almost imperceptible when activated.

But I am, at the moment, quite disappointed by the friction / resistance of the motor when I deactivate the assistance.

let me explain: when I activate the engine to help me on a climb, then just after remove the assistance because I am on flat ground, and I want to ride without it, I have for a few minutes, a crazy drag when pedaling as if the speed limit was active at like 6km/h.

Have you ever had this problem, is it normal on this type of engine?

I made the stupid mistake of buying a Chinese ebike without speed limit and I am now very frustrated by the sensations in off mode.

Normal behavior? Firmware problem on the motor? Could a firmware update improve my situation?

36v battery read 42v when charging but when unplugged only 37v

Hi guys, just bought used ebike, it has 36v10ah battery, it never shows full bar when i put on the bike, so i tried to charge overnight and read it with voltmeter its only said 37v, but when i plug the charger in the battery read 42v.

When i tried to check the charger (1pin) with voltmeter, its sparking. So i idk the voltmeter read of the charger.

So idk is the battery damaged or the charger?

Thanks guys

Bosch external ebike batteries are easily stolen

Being paranoid about theft, I lock my bike with three locks and usually remove the battery and lug it around with me. The one time I left the battery on the locked bike, in a busy high street, the battery was gone when I returned. The battery may have been locked in the frame but the thief bashed something between the battery and the lock catch to remove it. Now I have no battery and a damage battery bracket.

The bike is insured but the excess charge is huge and no doubt my premium will increase.

Always remove your battery from your bike or risk theft.

Bafang Error '12' intermittently showing, but motor still all works fine?

Strange one, but any ideas? It did happen after a very wet and rainy ride.

Also occasionally the PAS sensor will get stuck "on" - but mostly cuts out after a short while (defo longer than the actual lag setting.
