Hello, wanted to ask you guys do yall know how to increase motion blur other than just turning it on in game? I like this game very much but imo it kinda lacks the sense of speed.

Just getting started with DR 2.0. I’m familiar with driving sims, but racing sims are quite an uncharted territory for me. Any advice on what to focus on first? I'm quite lost lol

In advance, I'm using an Xbox controller, so no steering wheels atm.

I'll prefix this by saying it's not totally perfect and there's room for further improvements but after the latest and largest expansion this game is now one of my go to's.

I was fairly angry with the graphics at the end of the summer and spoke about it at length on here, but since the last few patches and the major dlc upgrade the game is starting to reach its potential.

I'm on my second run through of championship and I'm honestly hooked. The stages that I thought bland initially, probably because I came from the kyloton games are nothing of the sort. I've just done Alfaro in Mexico and it was breathtaking.

The only thing I could level at it is it is missing some of those very tight stages that you get on rbr like semetim, but honestly with further dlc on the way, the massive car roster and the large set of locations with long and short stages, it's become an exceptional game which is worth every penny I paid on Xbox for 30 quid initially and 11 quid on pc last week.

Trying to install from disc on XSX. It only installs 15GB of data and stops. When I start the game I only have access to rally school and the progress is permanently at 21%

I have no internet access (thanks Openreach) so bought the disc version to install the game and I cannot get it to do a full install.

Have done a power cycle, have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, have deleted the save data... Help!

Given that some gems in games history got and get a remake over the years what do you think about a CMR2 or DIRT Rally 1 (here i have especially the hill climb and maybe for PS players the VR part in my mind) or maybe a RBR remake ? Would u like to see something like that happen or isn’t that what you’re expecting to happen sometimes?

hi guys, i have just bought a fanatec shifter a couple days ago, and it works on games such as AMS2 and Forza. But, on both EA WRC and DR2 its not recognised. In the menu where i change button mappings it is all set correctly, but when going into a stage to drive, nothing happens when i shift. is there a fix for this?

I don't know where else to ask this as the site you get the mod from requires you to pay to make an account which I'm not going to do so I'll ask here. I'm playing DR2 through Virtual Desktop on my Quest 3. I want to use the Eye Accommodation Fix mod but it makes the game launch in Steam VR which isn't ideal for VD. Is there a way to get this mod to not launch in Steam VR?

Personally I'm not a massive fan. It feels like they put in a decent amount of effort with the surfaces and background scenery, but I don't find them that exciting to drive. I'd struggle to name a particularly memorable corner or sequence from any of the stages. The 'technical tarmac villages' in Poland are a particular let down compared to similar sections in other locations.

It's a shame, because I thought the CER was a really great addition (if debatably accurate to the real event) with some really fun and unique feeling sections.

Hi, I have a question regarding the original OST from this game.

One day I decided to turn off the licensed music just to listen to the “original soundtrack” and I really liked the music selection of this game.

The problem is that I can’t find any information on the internet about these songs (Maybe is royalty free music bought from a website to use it like some other games do?)

Does anybody know the name of any of the original tracks or where can I listen to them?

I'm still learning using just the fiesta Evo. Since I don't play with older cars I was wondering if it's better to set the wheel at 540° (now it's 900°, Logitech g920) or keep using the soft lock option. Also, what are the optimal values for soft lock? Thanks

I bought the game a few days ago and I just started a new WRC contract in career mode, I almost finished Monte Carlo, only the power stage is left (I play on Long so it’s the ninth stage), but I didn’t have any snow, is it a bug or can we get Winter Monte Carlo without any snow ?

So I got a racing wheel (Thrustmaster 128) mainly for immersion and fun purposes, but I really suck at it. It's just seems way harder to drive than in real life. I cannot even keep the car in a straight line, and my laptimes on a wheel are couple of minutes slower than with a controller. Do you have any tips for a beginner? I play with all assists off, otherwise there's no point in playing the game with a wheel.

I've got about 170 hours in DR2 so far, and I've found it really tough.

Recently started playing it in VR though and it's completely transformed my enjoyment and ability. I'm finally able to judge rocks and depth so much better.

Yesterday I got my best ever daily result in my historically worst location: Argentina.

Does anyone have any solution for microstutters during a stage? I've recently installed and started playing WRC but have been disappointed because of the stutters that keeps accuring while on stage. Does anybody have any solutions?

I have EA play on steam but when I download EA and login with my steam I don’t have EA play. And is it possible to connect EA play with ps4 and ps5?

Hello, after installing the new update that came out about a month ago, my force feedback seems to be gone. I get no feeling of the road from the wheel, the wheel does not respond to direction, it just feels like my wheel is stuck on desktop mode. I’m using a G29.

Anyone facing the same issues? If so, any solutions?

There‘s no function of my windscreen wiper. I hava a buttin for it, but it dont works. It also dont go off automatically when the windscreen is dirty. I drive with the driver pov, so its a big problem. Is there any option or has anyone a solution? thanks

I'm putting along in the most beat up slow fulvia HF you've ever seen going through Kopina stage, and hit my first ever heel-toe scandi flick and it just sent the biggest smile ever across my face as I putted and misfired my way along the stage. As a new player just getting into rally racing this game is amazing.

Not sure if this is cheating but these foggy stages are killing me. I can't go fast and 5/10 times I would wreck my car. FYI, racing in VR. Fog off, top 3. Fog on, bottom 5, in a championship.
