Here is a Passacaille by Ennemond Gaultier; it is one of the first pieces of the French Baroque repertoire that I learned, simple but still as pleasant to play. Happy Easter everyone!

Hi there, I recently had the opportunity to record in a pretty chapel that has been converted into a small performance hall. Here is an Allemande for Baroque lute 13 courses composed by J.M. Kühnel. Happy Holidays, :)

Hello! Here is a Sarabande written for Baroque lute by Charles Mouton and entitled La Belle Florentine. I took a slightly livelier pace than usual for a sarabande because I thought it suited this piece well. I hope that you will like! Good Friday,

Hi there! Here is the Prelude from the suite for lute BWV 995, which happens to be a transcription of the fifth suite for cello BWV 1011. The original key for lute is G minor, transposed here in A minor because in fact more suitable for 13 course Baroque Lute in D minor. Enjoy!

Want to Major in Historical Performance

I'm teaching myself now, but I assume to really do it you must go to a college. Perhaps, though, I can utilize resources online, without having to take all those extra classes; my parents died and so can't help support me, though, it looks too expensive and risky.

Can anyone "steer me in the right direction?"

Probably the most famous piece by Spanish composer and vihuelist Alonso Mudarra, this song parodies the curious harmonies and playing style of Ludovico who was the court harpist to King Ferdinand II. The novelties applied by Mudarra made this Fantasia an avant-garde piece of the 16th century.

Found this video pretty much finished that we made 7 years ago. Just needed a little editing.
