Is Ducks jersey colors too light on EA NHL 25? They seems to me looking darker in real life hockey games. Good looking shirts, but only on real life.
I am thinking to start Franchise Mode with Ducks, but jerseys dosent seem to look right.
What you guys think? Am i right or wrong?
Is NHL the biggest failure when it comes to sports games? Watching/playing IRL hockey is worlds apart from this game, whereas games like 2K and fifa seems to find themselves a bit more in reality.
Just got the game. I simulated through one season of BAP playing here and there. Then my second year I start to play and every time I try to start up a game it crashes. No error code just right back to menu. I tried simulating and playing a different team and the same thing happens. I know others have had crashing issues in different modes is there a fix for it?
43 seconds left down by 1 I lost all my energy so I was taken off. I wanna play those big moments and I wish the coaches in be a pro would call a timeout to restore your energy in the final minute so you can stay out there for the last 45 seconds and try to get the tying goal especially since I'm the leading scorer on the team. That's the moments people remember in their career and would make the game 1000x more fun and realistic.
As the title says, I've been out of the mix for a bit and haven't kept up with the franchise at all. That being said, I've really gotten back into hockey lately and would like to give it ago again, but keep reading mixed things on each year of the series. Looking for some advice.
I'm on PS4 and would love the following features. Was always a big fan of nba2k's career mode and franchise mode, would be cool if there was something similar to that on the NHL games. No intent on playing online. And would love updated rosters.
Bought the game a few weeks ago because of all the hype in here.... first time playing since NHL 21. How the hell do I add friends in drop in?
It used to be so easy- click on the person's profile after a game, click add friend. and that's it. That's how I met a lot of good and fun players back in the day. I can't do it in this game.
For some reason the big brained geniuses at EA decided that was too easy.
While we're on the topic- how the hell do I add friends to a lobby? Or can you even do that in this piece of shit game?
It's like the people at EA are trying to make the game more frustrating for us over time.
I just want to play career mode without cutscenes and all the nonsense. But I can’t find 19 on the ps store. Am I doing something wrong?
This isnt particularly specific to defenseman, but im curious if anyone has recommendations on what combination of difficulty/sliders gets you a somewhat realistic experience where your team’s iq is even on the same plane of existence as the other teams. Idk why the opposing ai plays so cleanly while mine is stuck jamming square blocks into round holes. For reference, playing on All Star. Im not very good and dont want to learn how to cheat the game. The game is at its most fun when theres end to end action, sustained time in both zones - not when im scoring 100 goals as a rookie dman lol.
Also, are home games programmed to go into OT or something? 9 of my first 10 went into OT when the other team randomly scores up to 5 goals in the last 10 minutes, almost entirely while im off the ice. If they win the 3v3 faceoff, my teammates slip up and instantly give a 3 on 1 and my goalie lets basically anything i dont stop in lmao
Edit: also, why does my team c o l l a p s e on the PP?
I got 2024 on PlayStation plus a while back. I played 23 heavily. I have always played franchise mode with a custom team. It used to show shots after play stopped of the mascot celebrating, fans, replays, etc. It used to have presentation when the game started with the skaters coming out. Now it cuts so fast to faceoff I can hardly pick my lines. I have searched in the settings and don't see anything obvious. Am I missing something or did the game take a step backwards?
My brain is programmed to hit like pre nhl24 (skipped it). I just can’t get used to having to press down and then up on my right stick. Especially that it’s not camera relative, just messes with my brain.
Do ya’ll just juste circle? Is there a way to practice this without playing actual games and getting mad?
Why is it that every WOC 3v3 or 6v6 game I play, feels like the other players are just bigger, stronger and faster than my guy? I usually play as I either Moonlight PWF or Sniper, 90 speed 88 agility and these other guys who are 6’6 monsters fly by me with no problem? Wth?
Any build recommendations are welcome. Haven’t played the game since 20’
Is there a better build I should be playing that can make my guy faster?
does anyone know if there's a plan to add missing jerseys soon? the Bruins centennial and caps black alternate unis are missing and I'm sure there's more.
I know you couldn't turn them off in NHL 24, but the face off lights in Dallas and Edmonton (that I've found so far) are making me quite woozy. Is there any chance that they've added the ability to turn them off or at least massively dull them?
I’ve been playing Chel since 2018. I started playing Online versus this year and I suck. I was awesome playing Superstar in Be a pro but against other playets its horror. My players are flying after evert hit and injuring them selves. A pokecheck = tripping. Stick lift = Hooking Goalie is ass Opponents goalie is god. Passing = icing Literally makes me mad. Does anyone have any good tips to how to actually be good at online here? Thank you
So this is a long shot but I started playing NHL 08 for fun. Playing dynasty mode and I got my salary cap to 54 million but after the first few games in year 3, it went down on its own to 51 million leaving me over the cap. Does anyone know why this would happen ?
Do they compare to previous gen custom leagues?
Any of my Victorians know the color codes for the salmon kings from back in the day? Trying to recreate them in Chel 24
