Title. I just don’t know how I’m playing against the pacific all stars when I’m playing as a normal nhl team. I know that the online rankings don’t really mean much but why am I playing against the pacific all stars when I’m playing as the Washington Capitals

is it just me or does Zayne never progress i cant seem to get him higher then 87 ovr am i doing something wrong do i need to put him in the AHL any suggestions..

Evening/Afternoon folks.

So my history with NHL games is pretty short. Played the old Mega Drive games and apart from the odd game over the years, that’s about it.

For some reason recently, I’ve really gotten into ice hockey. So played the new game and I’ve really enjoyed it (which is a surprise to myself after reading the comments about it on here).

BUT…I’ve got one problem, I feel no affinity to any team.

So can people maybe take a minute and sell me on their team so I can adopt them as my team? I’m not into glory hunting so maybe not the best team around.

Any good “community/working class” kinda clubs?

So what does the aggression stat even do, the slider says it controls how aggressive players are in the game, but that doesn’t really tell me much. Does it make the AI take more penalties? check harder? challenge for fights more frequently?

Been waiting since the minute the trade dropped for Rantanen to be on the Canes in online versus. The fact roster updates come so sporadically is actually insane for a $70 game.

2k is also a terrible company, but one thing they’re very good at is ensuring the rosters are updated ASAP. This should be the bare minimum from such a huge company, yet the bar remains through the floor.

Just update the damn rosters 1-2 days after roster movements happen!!!

Hi everyone :) I've recently started to get interested in ice hockey (even though it's not that popular here in Germany). Would it make sense to start with NHL 25 to learn more about ice hockey?

Do you have any other tips on how I can get more involved with the subject :)

Does anything happen when you get silver or gold legendary status in BOP? Obviously the grind to even get to silver (haven't reached yet) is exhausting haha.

They really ruined this aspect of the game. The amount of shots that either bounce off you and trickle in or just seem to go right through you when you’re in perfect position is insane. Really feels like the game just decides which shots go in.

Any hope we'll finally get a hockey game on the Switch 2? i.e. presumably a bit easier to port a console version, with more power than the original Switch?

So I started a franchise mode and drafted Cayden Lindstrom, I signed him to an elc but I can’t bring him to the nhl? It says he’s still in the whl, how do I bring him up?

In the offseason trying to sim to the next season, but I am stuck on July 4, 2027. It will not simulate past this point it just says simulating. I try to click B and then it will get stuck saying finishing. I reset the game and get the same results. Basically I cannot progress. Anyone else experiencing this?

It makes no sense. I go out and get the best NHL scouts avilable. They tell me Owen Tippet is a perfect fit for my second line. Trade a handful of prospects for him and he does not fit in the least bit. Am I missing something?

Why is it my second line is always the hardest to figure out? I can rarely develop chemistry on it and even when I do it generally underachieves.

I’m after some advice regarding Be a Pro in NHL 25 I created my BAP character and selected the Washington capitals as the team I wanted to play for, however when it comes to the players on the team, there are many players that are missing such as Tom Wilson and Ovechkin, Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Wondering if I can replace abilities if I picked one and unlock another one at a later date?

I’m not sure if I should add the ones I unlocked so far (spinorama) when I am trying to go for the McDavid playmaker abilities?
