I have NCAA College Basketball 10 and I was wondering if I could watch and play the game like in legacy. Like if I’m Holy Cross and I wanted to play UCONN vs Kentucky. Can I do that or is that Just in The College Hoops Franchise
I see most people on the sub (at least in legacy mode) simming all of their games. Out of curiosity, are there people here that prefer to play all the games? Because I’ve been playing all the games in addition to scouting and stuff and its a rollercoaster of emotions.
It's been a minute since I've played but I know it can be done but for some reason I cannot find the option to at any point during the season. Is there an exact time frame where this can be done? And if so, how do i navigate to it?
Currently I am at this week in a fresh legacy.
And was also wondering would it show up on this tab
Or do I need to click into the recruit tab here?
Thanks in advance!
Update:
I tried out the game on ps3 instead of ps2 and Create a Recruit popped right up. For anyone looking to play this on pc in the future, there is not a create a recruit option on ps2. Download the ps3 rom for that feature!
Yes, that says 7'3". In year 21 of legacy.
If you’re a fan of weird sports history, I’m sure you’ve seen Jon Bois’s video about devry institute vs Troy state. The highest scoring basketball game of all time. Troy state utilized a playbook known as the “fun and gun.” This essentially focuses on running the ball up the court as fast as possible before the defense can be set and either getting a steal quick or allowing the opponent to take an easy shot for the sake of keeping the tempo as fast paced as possible. I’m going to throw this mutated type of playstyle into ncaa march maddness 06 with a shit team and see where it gets me
Is this a known glitch?
Live action of the play I just posted. 1st run is an open jumper and the second is a post ISO fadeaway.
Playing as William and Mary. 1st season won conference, lost first round tournament game as a 12 seed. Signed three 3 star recruits and one 4 star center. They’re on my roster but have overalls in the low 40s. I don’t see how I could ever progress them to be even serviceable players. Feels like I wasted all my recruiting effort on nothing even though it felt like I had a decent recruiting class. How do you make sure your recruits, even the 4 star and higher ones, are worth recruiting?
Difficulty: All-American Biggest win I’ve ever had on this difficulty. Couldn’t miss a shot. Thought it would be a close game. 46 point win.
Same play I drew up before in action vs man defense
Im trying to add Loyola (Chi) to the closed legacy teams i downgraded the OVR down to 57, switched them to a smaller conference, but i still cant seem to get them. Any advice? Should i just do an open legacy?
This is my first time playing, would i be able to switch my coaching job in a closed legacy later down the road?
I saw on a YT video that you can add a team to coach on the legacy mode by adding the worst players on the top of the rotation list, tried it about 10 times and still nothing, do i release players from the team? Idk what to do!
Trying to play as Loyola-Chicago
I swear sometimes the scoreboard counts the basket before its through the hoop. I even think I've seen it count a basket on a layup before the player left the ground. I know the game isn't as animation based as later 2K games so the simulation knows if the ball is going through or not by then but it's still jarring.
Am I crazy or is this real?
The governors looked primed for a national championship appearance, their second in the last three years. One team stood in the way – Louisville. Would the governors come out on top against the Cardinals? Watch and find out!
