A. No harassment, doxxing, trolling, etc. While we try to let most conversations play out and try not to pull the trigger immediately, if any user crosses the line into any sort of name calling we will initiate mutes and bans as necessary.
B. Since this is a sports sub, no raiding or swarming other subreddits. While it's really easy to go into an opponent's sub and be completely disrespectful and trash that team's fans, this will not be tolerated. It makes this sub look bad and it makes the Ducks fan base and community as a whole look bad. While we won't pursue another subreddit, if we find out we will take the necessary actions.
With that said, we mods have not had to lay a ban hammer down in any real capacity in the time this sub has existed. Sure we've banned the trolls and the absolute worst of the worst. Moving forward we will be setting bans on people who violate the rules set forth. It will be gradual:
A day
A week
A month
Lifetime
If you are banned we will give an explanation as to why.
If you see something that breaks one of these rules, please report it. We try and be active in the subreddit, but we can't catch everything by ourselves. Reporting makes it easy to see issues on computer and mobile.
1. Descriptive Titles
If you are posting a linked article Reddit has an option to autofill the title, if it does not work then copy and paste, if the title is clickbait then change the title.
Oregon's official YouTube has decided to title everything with a quote, if you wish to change it that's up to you.
Please flair all posts as accurately as possible as well. With the dual existence of both old and new reddit they may not all work properly, but we are continually working to adjust.
2. General Submissions
Low effort and low quality posts will be removed.
If a thread gets out of hand we will lock the thread or delete it.
3. Premium Content
Sites like ScoopDuck, The Athletic, 247, Rivals, ESPN, and On3 all offer premium content, from articles to forums and sometimes. The general rule on articles has been not to post, because they are behind a paywall and not everyone can access that content. For the time being, if a premium link is posted:
A) the poster needs to make it clear it's behind a paywall
B) Any copy and pasting from the article will get that comment deleted
C) Screenshots from premium forums or articles will be deleted.
These are services that people pay for and others make their living off of. If this becomes a problem then we will address it in the future.
4. Rumors
Rumors are part of the sports world, we completely understand this, but we want to set guidelines on how we will handle them moving forward. We ask that reliable or certified sources are used. These are mainly members of the media, like Stewart Mandel, Bruce Feldman, Tyler Agler, etc or those seemingly inside the program, like Justin Hopkins, or Andrew Nemec. If you start a rumor thread and your source is a screenshot of a user on Facebook we will remove it.
5. Recruiting Posts
We live in the magical age of the Lanning, Graves, Altman recruiting juggernaut era. We have seen a massive rise in the last couple years of high star commits and we want to make sure we are using the service for posts, where applicable.
247 covers both football and basketball ball ranks and stars on players. When making a title make sure you include the Players name, their position, and their star ranking. In the body of the post please include their 247 profile and their commitment announcement, such as Twitter.
Women's sports are a little different and don't have the depth that make sports do. We ask that whenever you post a female recruits commitment you try and get as close as you can to the males.
On big days like NSD we will make a mega thread.
6. Weekly Threads as it relates to football
During the week we will sticky a discussion thread or article almost every day.
Monday will be a post game discussion
Tuesday will be /u/hythloday1 post game breakdown
Wednesday will be a prediction thread
Thursday/Friday will be when /u/hythloday1 previews article/thread.
Saturday we will have a game thread, and after the game we will make a post game reaction thread. This is where we want you guys and gals to throw your chairs against the walls or jump on your beds in joy. But remain respectful and mindful of your fellow users. This means that during the game and after no additional posts will be allowed (unless its a link to a specific highlight).
Sunday will more than likely be any interviews that happen.
Please note that any posts that would better fit one of these megathread will be deleted.
As we get closer to men's & women's basketball and major spring sports we will revisit the best way to handle these same threads as they play more games more often.

i’m sorry if i missed an update on him but what’s his status?
Fuck osu fuck Michigan this is our year all I have to say go ducks!
I have standing room only tickets for a game, I was just wondering where to enter with those tickets/where the standing room only area actually is? I am having trouble figuring it out
Keep it civil.
As always, off topic posts will be deleted if they fit here better.
Sco Ducks!
Hey everyone, me and my pops are going to Autzen for the Ohio state game and are wondering about parking. Do we buy parking online or in person?
How good were Ohio States opponents?
Did they play anyone that was as good as Boise State? Feel like we can beat them.
Who is the best team Ohio State has played this year?
Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene OR
Kickoff: 10/04/2024 6:00 PM Pacific
TV: FOX
Line: UO - 23.5
Over/Under: 51.5
Let's GO DUCKS!
Do alumni get any sort of discount on single game/season tickets?
Dm me will delete when taken
Is one ticket for both ways or do I need to buy 2? Also, is one location more secure than others? I live closer to the Fairgrounds, but feel like VRC might be safer for my car. Not sure if there are lot attendants during the duration of the shuttle service.
Someone smarter than me has to be smart enough to mod this!
Is it just me or is does anyone else think it’s ridiculous that there is no consistency this season regarding how to watch the Foot all games? I’ve signed up for 3 different streaming services free trials to be able to watch the Ducks play each week so far this season and just found out that tonight’s game won’t be shown on Peacocks Big 10 channels (despite it being a conference game) that I subscribed to.
I’m sure it has something to do with our prior media contracts and us switching to the Big 10 but if they can’t get contracts to be able to have the games hosted on one platform consistently, it’s going to hurt viewership of the games and continue to annoy fans.
How many free trials have you signed up for this season to watch the boys?
Where is the best place to buy tickets for a Duck game next year? Too many websites and ridiculous prices
I unfortunately won’t be able to see the start of the game tonight. Damn kids’ sports schedules!
I’ve used the FOX sports app to watch a game live. I’ve used it to watch a game after the fact.
Does anyone know if you can use it during the game and start from the beginning? I’m hesitant to try to login and watch unless the game is over if it’s going to give me spoilers and not let me start from the beginning.
Thanks in advance. Go Ducks!
This is my first time in Eugene. Could someone provide me with any info to get the best experience? I.e., tailgating, unique events, places to eat/drink a beer to watch the other games, etc…?
Hosted by Verone McKinley III
One of my favorite players and now can make a splash tonight at the next level. Keep er goin Buck!
I’m a Michigan fan but then one day I thought I need a second favourite team so I chose Oregon because you guys have a cool mascot and jerseys, but I don’t want that to be my only reasons so I would like to learn more of the Oregon culture.
Since I’m on the east coast, thinking of going to the Purdue game in a couple weeks. Anyone else going?
At my daughter’s HS for a volleyball game this evening… always love walking by these. Go ducks!
What’s the consensus among level headed fans? Is it going to be a good enough game worth traveling 1500 mile round trip for?
Personally, I’m nervous this could be a 2-3 score loss for the ducks… thoughts?
Duck fans coming out from NJ for Friday’s game! Anyone hosting a tailgate we can join up with?
I’m a younger Duck fan but I’m going to say 2012 as they were an unlucky Stanford loss away from likely playing a less talented Notre Dame team for the natty. The other years I often hear are 2007, 2010, 2014, and even 2023. Maybe this year’s team can be the best team if they put it together a little bit more. Any teams I’m forgetting?
Thoughts?
Not sure the policy here, but I have four tix available for the MSU game this Friday. Season tix holder, can’t make it myself. Club Section 30CL, Row 76. Willing to negotiate fair price. Message if interested.
For every game I've been to, I always get in pretty much right at kickoff (usually because the people in with are lagging/don't care for the whole pregame and prefer to continue tailgating).
But this time with the MSU game, I want to get in there and see the teams come on the field and catch everything that's involved in pregame before kickoff. With kickoff happening at 6pm, how early should I be in there to catch all of this?
