Online Walgreens has some good sales on specific itrms like really cheap prices Online. I But they are gonna seriously downsize and that means look out for orange tag sales in stores and review online sales updates every couple weeks. I I hauled tons of lovely Hask hair items for $4 each and they work better than expensive Sephora overpriced garbage. And sulfate free too. Fyi...
I love this lip combo but it doesn't look like the typical red lipstick.
I've been using the lash princess mascara line since it was released, at first I swore by the OG Lash Princess which I stopped using during the pandemic as it's not waterproof and would smear all the time, especially during the colder months when I'd wear face masks. I switched to the waterproof version but somehow it's not really the same thing and it's so hard to remove it even with an oil-based makeup remover.
I think this line is really high quality and I didn't want to switch to a different brand, I'm loyal to my all time favorites because I know they work great so I decided to try the Lash Princess Sculpted volume (purple tube with curved wand) and OH MY GOD. I've been using it for almost 6 months now so I had the time to test it properly. I have naturally long lashes and this keep them curved and in place until I remove it. I prefer it over the OG for sure and I don't remember loving a mascara this much since the Maybelline Falsies Black Drama (with the lace pattern on the cap) came out.
10/10 !
I use covergirl lash blast clean mascara and love it, I've never had any issues with flaking or smudging, anything, but I went to the drugstore to get a replacement and got curious over all the other mascaras covergirl has. One claimed to help hold a curl and I didn't realize that was something mascara did? I curl my lashes every day but it never seems to last long and i thought this was just an eyelash thing, but maybe not. Anyways, I didn't end up buying one yet so if anyone has suggestions for mascara/technique to help this it would be much appreciated :) fluffy and curled would be the dream
I recently came across a sampler of the estee lauder double wear foundation and the shade 4n1 shell beige was a perfect match. the foundation is like 50$ tho and i cant afford to spend that much money on a foundation 😭 ive never really used or purchased foundation before bc im scared of buying the wrong shade; is there a cheaper foundation that has the same shade? ideally something less than $20?
For reference, I have combo skin (oily tzone with dry chin).

My current issues with my makeup are the following:
my blush doesn’t stay on long. Do I need to use a cream blush first and then a powder blush to make it long lasting?
my makeup base can get glowy after a couple of hrs. I suspect it is because of my foundation. I would like to keep it a bit matte but not look dry
for lips, I usually put on nyx lingerie liquid lipstick and then dab another lipstick on top. It is not transfer proof. Does anyone have suggestions for a lip stain which will last long on lips?
My makeup routine is below:
I put on milani eye primer for eyes (I use my fingers first and then a beauty blender to even it out)
Mac Studio fix mattifine shine control primer for rest of the face
maybelline instant age rewind concealer on eye lids (I blend it with a beauty blender.
then I usually go in with an eyeshadow look
revlon illuminnace foundation shade 213
elf primer infused blush in the shade always rosy on cheeks
L’Oréal infallible bronzer shade 450 for cheek bones
nyx epic wear waterproof eyeliner
Lancôme eyelash primer
Lancôme idole mascara
Sephora crayon eye pencil for the waterline
benefit the pore professional super setter
maybelline fit me pressed powder in the shade 220 natural beige to set the makeup.
I totally forgot I had this in my collection. I'm back in love with it, and using a lip brush to apply it. I find I don't need a lip liner when using a lip brush.
This palette has great colors. The staying power isn't long, but I'm weird, I like to reapply lip color and touch up as needed. L'Oreal LaPalette Plum 02. It s still available on Amazon. $16.99
I also have a couple of e.l.f. palettes, one pink/nude and a red/brown that I'm going to put in my rotation.💜🩷❤️🤎
I have many red lipsticks and lipliners but none look like this. Any drugstore lip products that ars in this shade of red? I think it's gorgeous.
Last week I contacted Revlon and asked if this shade was discontinued and....IT'S NOT!
Essential part of the email:
"Thank you for your recent comments from our website. We would like to thank you for your interest in the availability of Super Lustrous Lipstick Toast of New York. This shade has not been discontinued.
We were sorry to learn of your difficulty finding stores in your area that sell this product. We appreciate this information and want to assure you that your comments will be forwarded to the appropriate personnel."
Yay!
I just got a KVD metallic liquid lipstick at a Winners the other day. I'm obsessed but don't want to buy higher end lip products at the prices we have in Canada.
I love the metallic look (not just sparkly, but properly metallic)
Are there any drugstore truly metallic lipsticks? Transfer proof, liquid, regular bullet lipsticks...anything I do live in Canada so that might be different product wise
Shu Uemura, Shiseido or Kevin Aucoin?
If you have other recommendation feel free to share them! Thanks! x
Hey! It’s me again, I’m still having issues with mascaras as they keep smudging. I have oily skin. I’ve used Maybelline lash sensational, colossal and great lash. I’ve used essence lash princess (blue). I’ve also used Lacome Idóle and Stella huge. The only one that did “ok” was Lacome as it didn’t smudge as easily. I also have really straight eyelashes so I need something that can hold up the curl. If you have any recommendations I’d truly appreciate it as I am struggling to find a good one. Thank you in advance!
Trying to plan out some shopping carts to have them ready for possible holiday sales.
Does anyone have know any brands that might have big sales this year? Right now I’m thinking of Nyx and Milani.
Is there a lipstick from revlon or elsewhere that is similar to this but without shimmer?
Hi All!
I am looking for a simple drugstore concealer that is fit for cool/pink undertones. I have pale skin and finding a concealer that matches me and does not wash me out is hard.
I prefer one that's better at concealing blemishes and freckles than brightening the under-eye! Please let me know your recommendations!
I don’t know if this counts but anyway I’m looking for a glittery red nail polish that doesn’t take forever to dry I prefer darker reds or medium bright reds
If you guys like the RT brushes or want try them out, JCPenney is having a 50% sale on them! https://www.jcpenney.com/g/beauty/view-all-brands?brand=real+techniques&id=cat11100004055
I recently got the everyday essentials set. What is the RT 300 double crease brush for? Can this be used for under eye concealer? I also bought the RT 242 because I saw that most people here preferred 242. But I can’t find any info on the 300?
I am fairly new to the makeup world. Tia
hi! i'm quite new to makeup and i want to try a more natural makeup. any recommended products especially for base makeup? i think most base makeup i see have a high coverage and i don't really want that.
Okay, shopaholics, what’s that one product you finally stuck with and stopped testing other options because it was just that good? You know, the one you wish you found earlier because it would have saved you so much money!
For example, I used to buy tons of lotions, always searching for the perfect scent. I finally found Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Lotion and stuck with it. I really wish I hadn’t spent so much money on all those other lotions before!
What’s your “game-changer” product?
I dont have access to testers for the TIRTIR cushion foundation and I wanted to buy one a bit blindly. I was wondering what shade would be appropriate for me considering i have a 290 shade on the Pro filt'r fenty foundation. if anyone else has the same shade and a tirtir cushion match id highly appreciate their help. thank you
Im new to makeup and I tried shade matching myself at home. I think I have neutral/ yellowish undertones because my vein are green and purple. My skin seems to match ‘Golden Sun 485 in the Infallible foundation’. I wanted to know which concealer would be the right one to use. Like which concealer is two shades lighter that matches that foundation shade.
