Thanks to everyone who joined us last night at Lawrence park in the heights! It was good seeing a bunch of new and old faces.

The game was was tied going into half and remained close until a last minute pick six sealed the deal for the blueberries.

Our photoman was out taking some shots once again. We will post those on a photo thread when they become available. Big thanks to him. I owe you a beer next week.

We finished the night at Christian's Tailgate off white oak with a few cold ones. Big shout out to everyone who came to the AfterParty.

After a LONG break, DropIn's fall season Fall So Hard is finally here! As we count down the final hours to kickoff, there are a few new changes to keep in mind...

We have only reserved 1 Field at Lawrence Park in the heights. This means we are forced to cap it at 24 players on a first come first serve basis. SO GET THERE EARLY. We start at 7 pm, with actual Kickoff at 7:10 SHARP.

To cover the costs of the field reservation and lights we have implemented a $5 fee per player. Change is not guaranteed, so try and bring exact change. You will not be able to play without paying upfront

As usual, we will takeover a local joint after the game. Games being on Friday allows you to blow off that work steam heading into the weekend. Christian's Tailgate on white oak is our jam.

Everything is everything so stand up and get your weekend right in the heights.

As per fee's.. All costs and funds will be reported in the Weekly Recap on r/dropinfootball or www.DropInFootball.com. All excess funds will be recorded in the recap via a running total. Drop-in will use funds strictly for League Improvement with approval of general participant's. (Tournaments, Flags, expansions etc.)

DropIn Football's Fall So Hard will officially kickoff Friday, October 7th @ Lawrence Park in the Heights. The game begins at 7:00 PM under the big lights and runs until 9 PM. Christians Tailgate off White Oak will host our After Party following the game. There is a $5 fee per player to participate to cover field costs

Nice way to end off our Summer Series last night with two exciting games. 30 DropIn's made some thrilling plays to kept the games close. MVP goes to QBgirl for throwing a 30 yard completion her first pass. ..Lets just forget about that last INT though...

I have received many many questions over the decision to say goodbye to the Houston and Houstonsocials subreddits. Ill address this briefly so we may continue to move ahead in a direction that embodies what we value as a free, open event.

Simply put, we found ourselves in a situation of censorship that I believe to be in direct violation of the Subreddits and Reddit itself. After a brief dialog with the powers that be, it became evident that distancing our relationship with these Subreddits was in DropIn Football's best interests.

As our community continues to flourish, we will utilize Instagram, Facebook and our Subreddit to keep you informed.

So, let's get back to playing with my leathery balls, drinking some brews and having a shit load of fun.

Great set of games last night with a ton of new faces! The weather was clear, cool and dry for the 25 that weren’t worried about the rainstorms earlier in the day.

The Semi-pros finished 28-24 where speed was the name of the game! Another close Beer Leaguers game ended on an interception to secure a victory for the skins.

Unfortunately, we will have no pictures up this week on Reddit for you to drool over, but follow our Instagram @Dropinfootball to get a few of the highlights over the next week.

It wasn't pretty, but it was awesome!

Lets give a hand to the Morton Ranch High School Groundskeepers for supplying us with an unlimited supply of cool refreshing water throughout the first half of our game. Sprinklers on fleek.

Once again y'all showed up in groves and hit a new high of 40 participants. Next week we'll be running a third game (with full pylons btw) to accommodate all you beautiful bastards.

The Semi-Pro game was a lopsided affair until a manufactured comeback by the Yellow team brought the game to a tie in the closing seconds, Unfortunately for the Guava's, the Blueberries had too much firepower an handily won the game in OT.

A lot of fun was had in our Beer League game, where the score always means nothing (the Yellow-jackets won 28-21) Large variety of folks got a chance to play, but Duel MVP goes to the two little men both scoring 2 touchdowns and breaking ankles along the way. A lot of new faces in this one with everyone having a great time.

Dan helped put on an awesome night at No Label with some free pizza and of course some tasty NL beer! If you haven't got a chance to thank him, make sure to buy him a pint next week! Speaking of thanking people, Tia and Jon donated their time to take some dope action shots during last nights games. Check out all of the amazing photos here!

It was another memorable night at DropIn made special because of everyone who showed up to have a good time! Hope y'all are are looking forward to next week already, I know I am!
