Just wondering if a level 99 charactwr keeps leeching exp or if having one in your party means the remaining 3 who arent max level get more exp?

Hello everyone I am currently playing dq 3hd2d and I am currently able to beat Xenlon in under 15 turns. However, when it comes to the Great Dragon i could only manage to beat him in 25 turns. Are there any tips for the Great Dragon? My current party is Hero, Priest, Sage and Monster Wrangler. I use morph on the sage so I can have two Monster Wranglers to use monster pile on with. I really want the platinum for this game and I am fine with grinding if that's what is needed.

I'm at the point where I need to find the black pepper to trade for a ship.

Am I at a good level, if not whats a good grind spot? Also whats a good way to get quick easy gold because I often find myself running out quickly. Thank you all for the advice in advance.

Just finished DQ3 and am in love. i want to start another dq game in between play throughs and was thinking of giving 9 a go? are there any games you all would recommend similar to 9? ive played 1, 2 and 11 and love ff 1 3 and 5

Hi fellow questers, hope you are all well.

I have a question for you please. I have found the game up to now very easy (playing on the middle normal difficulty level). All random encounters have been easy, then I have the first major boss fight against Robbin’ ’Ood in Skyfell Tower.

My party is Hero level 10, and then a thief, Mage and Priest all level 9.

I have tried to fight Robbin’ ’Ood many times now and cannot kill his party. It doesn't help to reach him from closest town is far away, and I have many random encounter fights on the way there (I do though fully heal before the fight). I just cannot beat him.

My question is what is the recommended level for this boss fight, or what were you when you won. I probably need to grind some levelling up, so just wonder what I should target before I try and fight this boss again.

ps. I have searched online, but cannot find. Is there a recommended level for each major boss, what level main party should be when trying to defeat them?

Hi guys, do you know if there are some equipments or accessories that can Regen Mp during a Battle? I know there's the skill Drain Magic that can absorb Mp from enemies but, if i'm not wrong, sometimes could not work. It would be usefull for a member party that have to use often spells for boosts or healing.

So here is something weird. I noticed that the girl was crying that 'Carlos had disappeared' and hear the light house holy men tell the tale of the archfiend hating them.

Then at night I THINK the horse is actually Carlos and he like...is cursed or something?

Can I do anything about this?

Have all Monster recruited and speaking with Monty and the Achievement didn't triggered for me (beat Grand Dragon for a second time too). Hae anyone the same problem or is this Achieement maybe bugged?

Accessories in the sub slot don't change your personality. For most of the game, I avoided certain accessories because I didn't want to change certain personalities nor take them off and on when I was close to leveling up. This does address that problem, partially, lol.

(I'm sure this was revealed somewhere but maybe a few others like myself were unaware).

Hi guys, I’ve previously played an emulated version of the nes original & the iOS version of DQ3. I’m currently working through Maw of the Necrogond.

My Priest just got Kazing & now needs a class change that gives him abilities & better attack/defense stats.

My other characters are a thief turned sage & a gadabout turned sage. I’m thinking once my sages both max their spells I’ll change them into attackers of sorts.

Who should be my Martial Artist? My Monster Tamer? Do I turn the third into a Soldier or a Thief? Love to hear your thoughts. Will update with my decision based on your input! Thanks!

The last 4 Monsters (to complete the Full List) are not appear like in Guides i checked. The Monsters are:

There's this Slime in the ??? Dungeon in DQ3 HD2D Remake telling me that it's going super slow and of I'm trying my luck too. I have no idea what it is supposed to represent, if it some sort of side quest or just some random thing. Does anyone know?

Hoping someone can help! I went into 2D mode and then back to 3D mode and am now several chapters behind. I feel so defeated. I don't want to play all of these chapters again. Does anyone know of a save editor or other method that can allow me to get back to where I was? I literally had just gotten the blue orb and completed the two side quests in Sniflheim.

I can't believe they let you delete your progress like that instead of just using different save accounts. Felt like a gut punch.

I'm sad and frustrated that it's bugged (I think?) as it's the last trophy I need for the platinum. I double checked my spell and ability lists and they're both filled out. I reloaded a save, deleted the game and re-downloaded it, nothing it working. Is there a known way to fix this or do I just need to wait and hope that a patch will fix it?

I'm just wondering how much agility accelerate actually boosts, and whether it applies the same turn you use it on.

I was thinking of getting a speedy boi to use accelerate to bring the rest of the party ahead in the turn order of that same turn its casted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, in-game descriptions dont go too much in depth with this stuff...

Same goes for stamina an HP. Does it have any effect?
