Hello!! I’m applying to be an attending professional and I was curious if anyone knows how to get on a panel??
I’m an author who writes LITRPG/Fantasy.
Last year there was a Women in LITRPG panel and I sooooo wanted a chance to be on that this upcoming year, I just don’t know who to email/where the form is.
I emailed the video game track through the contact us option on the website a few weeks ago and I haven't heard anything from them yet. Should I have just sent the contact request to the general inbox?
Please forgive me if not allowed & I’ll delete my post.
As the title says, DragonCon 2025 will be my first time back since I got sober 5 years ago. I know this is the Mardi Gras of the nerd world, but for support I’m bringing my mom and we’re gonna do the daytime activities (plus she’s interested in going). I do plan on going out at night without her to do the evening activities. But what I wanted to ask was, is there a sober group that meets up at the con or anything of the sort? I’d love to mingle and meet like minded sober people, you know?
Thanks everyone! 🫶🏼

I’m trying to come up with fun sayings for my badge ribbons. My cosplay Bowsette-dominatrix/goth. Please help out with some ideas! 🖤
Currently some of my ideas are… “Bow down to Bowsette” and “I got on my knees for Bozette”
Hi, I’m interested in walking in the parade but I’m not sure if I need to register or if I could join a group. I have 5 people in my group and we are going to be a Super Mario theme. Also, is it possible to ride electric scooters in the parade? I was thinking of renting them. If not, walking is fine☺️
I know this is a reach but, like maybe a year or so ago I went to dragoncon and I got a miles morales keychain from an art vendor. I completely forgot their name, but that was my favorite keychain ever and I recently lost it.
It was a two sided key chain. One side had miles morales and the other had miles g. morales from the across the spider-verse movie and the clip part of it was a rose gold-ish star.
If anyone knows the vendor or a key chain of a similar design please let me know 😭😭

Hi there, I volunteered in 2023 with a lot of help from my supervisor for the TCG department. I'd like to apply again this year, but my supervisor has his volunteer list full. What can I do to learn about the other departments to volunteer?
Toying with applying to be a vendor at DC this year. I'm a relatively new indie author and wanted to see if there was anyone out there who might have advice about stock quantity/is it worth it/tips, that kinda thing. :)

Are there any books set at or that have scenes at Dragoncon?
It was my fiancée’s first Dragon Con last year and my second. We are going as a couples cosplay for the Bunny Hutch party as Cosmo and Wanda and we and to have badge ribbons to hand out. For anyone who has brought badge ribbons or any con swag how much did you bring? Did you run out? Any left over? We wanna make sure we have enough but not too much where we take a bunch home at the end of the con. What are your suggestions?
I know that booking season has passed for the host hotels, but has anybody ever had success booking one of the nearby hotels with rewards points?
My girlfriend is making a large cosplay she was wondering about anyone's experiences in large cosplay (like fully have to get inside big bulky 6ft+) She wants to do it this year but is wondering about getting around and if people had fun doing it while having difficulty moving around and if posting up in a spot is fun or not
Hey im preparing to go Dragoncon I heard it's always in ATL, but I wanna do it hardcore... This may be along shot, but I recently saw a low budget movie with phenomenal puppetry and costuming, among other things. (Hundreds of Beavers, free on youtube, highly recommend for fans of looney toons and chaplin). I wanted to send a request to potentially get some of the team to come. Would I contact Dragon Con? Center for Puppetry arts? Somewhere else? Thanks in advance!
Sorry in advance if this isn’t the proper place for this story/request!
Long story short, I ordered some T-shirts and a couple of decals from the official DragonCon merch store — same place you buy event tickets and everything — toward the end of November, and they forgot to include my apartment number on the address. The package failed to deliver and was sent all the way back to Georgia (I live in Washington currently), so I got in touch with the general merchandise support folks. When I finally got ahold of them in mid-December, they said they’d send the package back as soon as they received it at the GA-based warehouse. It’s now been almost a month and a half since the package was supposedly en-route to Georgia and I haven’t heard anything since then. Yes, the postal service is absolutely crazy around the holidays, but I feel like I should have heard something by now.
I’ve reached out to the same people I was communicating with before, but it’s been a couple of days and they haven’t replied. At this point, I just want to know if I’ll ever see the package and if I can get a refund if not. Any idea on who else I should contact/escalate to over this?
Very important question... 😇
I've recently sent a band the form to fill out and submit in hopes that they will be selected for and perform at Dragon Con later this year. They're a Star Trek themed punk rock band that I think are absolutely perfect for Dragon Con. I have no clue if they chose to apply or not.
I'm curious to know if anyone has had success with this, and if so, how rigorous and/or competitive the selection process is.
Like many people over the years I've had my picture taken with a few people. For me two two that stand out:
How about you, or one of your DragonCon buddies?
EDIT: These are all great stories, and hope that they help inspire people to have a Happy New Year. :-D

Just like the title says, I'm wondering how often the ticket prices change/increase. I'd like to know a rough idea so I know when a good time to get tickets is or how much more I need to save.
