A subreddit for situations where the cameraperson would rather film than assist

Don't just do something, stand there!!!

The OG

Rules

  • 1: NO NSFL - it will be removed

  • 2: No security camera / CCTV footage

  • 3: Reposts are not allowed within 6 months

  • 4: Animal abuse will get you banned

  • 5: Racism will get you banned

  • 6: No low quality / irrelevant content

  • 7: If someone doesn't need help or can get out of trouble on his own, it's not relevant and will be removed

  • 8: If person filming the video can't help, it doesn't fit the sub

Please downvote posts that are not relevant to the name of the sub. For example, the person filming has to be present and clearly able to help, but more interested in filming. The video should not end mere seconds after an event has occurred, as there would be no way of knowing whether or not the cameraman proceeded to help.

The NatGeo picture of the child being eaten by a snake as a cameraman is seen filming has been posted here many times and has been confirmed as staged. It will be removed immediately

My son trying to eat the floor saddle... he thinks it’s a snack. He might be stupid, but I’m the stupider one here for taking a pic before stopping him..

I spent a solid 2 minutes watching this child drink directly from the playground water-feature ground before an adult stopped her.

A woman is held captive in a wooden crate and left to die of starvation in a remote desert in Mongolia, 1913. It was capital punishment for committing adultery. Stéphane Passet was touring Mongolia and taking pictures in 1913, when he came across the Mongolian woman in a box.
