Tesco Club Card in case anyone needs it :)
Looking for some family friends walking routes that would be pram suitable ?
Went to a car mechanic to fix/ change the side rear view mirror for my car, now the same side window doesn't work.
Do I have a venue to ask the mechanic to fix it as it was working before he fixed that mirror ?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree ???
Hi all, I'm looking into some family history on my granny's family. I am looking for any information on or descendants of Owen's or Fisher families from Donegal, Ireland. We have almost no information about my granny's mums family as she passed when my gran was a small child. I know her mums name was Annie Owens she's the daughter of Richard Owens, born 1879 Killaghtee, Donegal, Ireland, and his wife Annie Fisher born 1878 Glenties, Donegal, Ireland. I believe the Fisher family was from Ardara, but I've also seen a record that might be the family listed as Residents of a House 14 in Casheltown Corkermore, Donegal. Richard and Annie, I know they moved with their children to Glasgow in the early 1900s, but I've had some issues finding much on the family before. I think I've found Richard's family if I'm not mistaken? His father, Murty Owens, born 1832 Donegal, Ireland, and his wife Grace Breslin, born 1841 in Killaghtee, Donegal, Ireland. I know it's a long shot, but I'd love to learn more about them and pass anything I learn onto my granny. I'd love any information as my granny's never sceen a picture of her grandparents or know anything much about them either. Thank you in advance from Canada 🇨🇦 😊
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had advice for me. I’ve booked to fly knock to Liverpool on November 29 at 9am. I’d been hoping to get my driving test done in time to drive myself but with the state that’s in at the moment it’s looking less and less likely. Does anyone know of how I can get into knock airport for around 7am from Donegal town? I’ve searched high and low and can’t find any buses that get in apart from a 6am bus from Sligo. The alternative would be to see if I can find anyone who happens to be going the same way that I can carpool with (happy to contribute towards fuel) or to just book a €20 flight from Dublin and do that. If anyone can help I’d appreciate it :)
We've announced the addition of Shirley Basssy to this event in Bennigans Bar, John Street in Derry. Hago and Shirley Basssy rolling out the big 🥁🥁🥁
£5 on the door. Music starts at 9pm.
Let's go!
Spending about a month in Europe, currently in France, going to come to Ireland in the next couple of weeks.
Feel obliged to come to Donegal. I know nothing of the area except that my entire family comes from here, having left about 3-4 generations ago. (Surname Dorrian)..
First question- is it easier to get there from Belfast or Dublin? I live NYC so can confidently navigate public trans- bus rail I don’t care.
Two- will I need a car when I get there? I’m fine renting one, can kinda drive a stick, but not sure I can do it with left hand.
3- what must I do or see?
4- culturally is there any thing I should not do? Insofar as being disrespectful- I have already got an earful from some of the French folks for not saying “bonjur” at every interaction.
Thank you.
Just received a letter to report for a council house interview. Does anyone know the questions they ask. Thanks in advance
That is all...
Hey everyone I’m a regular in here now, most of you know me by my job seeking posts but just wanted to say I fully support the original letterkenny subreddit, this drama is hilarious. r/letterkennytown
The war of Letterkenny subreddits has begun. The original creator versus the lad that stole her idea. Pick your sides ladies and gentlemen cause I know mine #letterkennytown r/letterkennytown
I made my own a few days ago because there didn’t seem to be one, not tryna spam or anything though, if there’s one that already has a decent amount of members I’ll delete mine.
Heyas lads,
Is anyone able to or does any of ye know anyone that can siphon and deliver home heating oil around the town for me? My wee granny is 89 and needs it, her tank is empty as she's holding off for the fuel payment and since I am moving I'd like her to have what I have left to save her a bit when she does get her money in. About 400l if I had to guess. Will obviously pay for time.
TIA!
I’m about to get into a football team here in Donegal but it’s all lads so ladies pm me since I need some balance. Worst case scenario you get free lunch!

Are people just jumping out of cars late at night and literally violently kicking the head off people or is there some sort of gang related fights going on?

Coming to Gweedore next year and I'll be attempting to use the cúpla focail and hopefully improve my Irish while I'm there. What's the attitude among native speakers toward non native speakers attempting to speak Irish in and around Gweedore?
Just asking
Helllllo I've just recently moved to Donegal/Letterkenny area and I'm looking to make new friends and meet new people (mid/late twenties/30s)- are there any Meetups or groups that you'd recommend (especially of the outdoorsy variety?) Many thanks in advance!
Looking at giffgaff since I can convert a pay as you go sim to an eSIM, so I can still use my main phone with my Irish SIM card. But they don’t have a physical store so I’ll need to have that shipped to the postal store in strabane, pay €3 and activate it there.
Would going to the three/vodafone store in Derry make more sense? So I don’t have to pay a postal charge as I’ll need to be in the north to activate the sim card anyway.
Only need the number for online purchases I make in the UK as they usually ask for a UK number. Will get a payg sim and top up maybe twice a year. I don’t want to subscribe to apps for a virtual number.
We were going to do Wild Ireland on the way up on Sunday but it’s probably a no go. Then maybe Malin Head Lighthouse etc. on Monday but it might not be open either! Any suggestions welcome and TIA! 😀
The photo is flipped, as when it saved, it saved side ways.
suggestions for places to go for fun? and not just hiking trails but are there any events happening or buildings to visit? looking for something inexpensive and fun for teenagers
