I was looking for some mountain dew recipes and found one that uses Citrus Punch from TFA. According to their website this contains Vitamin E (which we all know was responsible for the counterfeit carts EVALI deaths and lung damage).
I understand that TFA also makes flavors for food and drink but nonetheless, I've found this flavor available on multiple vape shop websites and recipe sites. Is there a different blend specifically for vaping and how do we know?
Hello everyone, I am new to DIY and have decided my first Juice will be "Best Damn Pink Lemonade" by Vurve
https://alltheflavors.com/recipe/3427-best_damn_pink_lemonade/
This recipe uses LorAnn's Lemonade. This flavoring contains Polysorbate 80 which appears to be an emulsifier for the flavoring which is an "Non Ionic Surfactant"; whatever the hell that means. This recipe is quite old at this point and I am unsure of any changes to the flavoring, and don't know how to find if Polysorbate 80 has been added to the flavoring in the last 8 years. Anything recent on Lorann's Lemonade seems to be oblivous to the emulsifier.
What I can find, disreguarding any scientific studies (Element heated atomization vs finely sprayed); is that it is an oil. If anyone has any insight into this please and thank you!

Howdy folks, apologies if I'm not the first to ask, but I'm afraid I couldn't find any related posts.
Has anyone noticed TFA stopped listing their specific chemical ingredients for their flavors? Once upon a a time I used to look up the flavors and their exact chemical ingredients through TFA's website. The list of their flavors with links to the SDS's still exists and looks similar, but no longer contains the actual chemicals used in the ingredients, with the exception of DAAP in some flavors*. I just found this somewhat disheartening because the main reason I loved TFA was because I could find out exactly what chemicals I'm using for the flavors, outside of their label. Not the end of the world if they fully stopped, just a bit of a bummer.
*They also list malic acid at 20% concentration for their Sour flavor, which is what I'm looking for, just for all the other flavors. E.g. benzaldehyde ~5% in PG for cherry flavor.
Long time DIY-juicer, but not a frequent to this sub so I apologize if I sound like a pleb. I also apologize if this isn't the proper thread for this post, but it did seem the most appropriate. Thanks in advance for any help!
As to those who vape NETs, some variants come in the form of 100% PG concentrate. Then, the DIY process takes place adding the nicotine, PG and VG for the final vape-able liquid.
My question is, and in its original 100% PG concentrate form, does that concentrate have an expiry date if it is stored right (dark and cool conditions)?

Like some of you in this sub, I've always been chasing the true holy grail: early 2010s Japanese ry4
I recently got into brown sugar bubble tea with tapioca "pearls" and it's the first time I've tasted early 2010s ry4 since the early 2010s
Does anyone know of a good brown sugar, bubble tea, brown sugar bubble tea or even tapioca flavor?
I've been vaping nothing but cardinal for about a year now. And I think this is the breakthrough I need to find my EDV
I've read through this subreddit and I have learned that when you want a flavor to be stronger, for example mango, you don't just add more mango flavoring as at a certain point that actually causes you to not be able to taste the mango anymore. it is my understanding that if you want to taste more mango, one would mean to mix mango flavoring from different companies to get a stronger mango flavor.
I love single flavors like just straight mango, or honeydew or peach etc but I really having difficulty nailing down the percentages when mixing.
I'm going to list out all of the flavors that I am available separated into categories of each flavor type and if someone could please help me out with the percentages to get the best mango, peach etc with what I have available I would greatly appreciate that.
I don't know if it makes a difference but I am vaping these in a pod system with a 0.6 ohm coil and I usually Vape DTL.
here are my flavors:
ultimate strawberry (Flavor Jungle)
Strawberry (TFA)
Strawberry ripe (TFA)
ultimate Mango (Flavor Jungle)
Mango (Flavors Express/ SC)
Mango (FW)
Mango (TFA)
Peach (Juicy)(TFA)
Peach (TFA)
Peach (flavors express/ SC)
Migua(Honeydew)(flavors Express/SC)
Honeydew (TFA)
Honeydew melon(Capella)
watermelon (flavors Express/SC)
Watermelon (TFA)
Watermelon (flavor Jungle)
TL:DR: I just need help with ideal percentages for each flavor when trying to make single flavors with multiple of the same flavor type.

3%, DR Solo, SS 4mm 6 wrap 6 core fused at 70w. Steeped 1 month
This one is interesting. I like it. Definitely a tobacco, mild leaf with a little depth, with a small amount of ash. Maybe a tiiiny bit of caramel. Honestly that's about it, it's great. Thing is, when I leave it in my rda overnight and take that first drag it has significantly changed, into a darker, more bold tobacco with a ton of depth. Think like FLV Red Burley but a little lighter. That leads me to believe that this stuff, in a recipe, will change significantly over time, in a good way, and probably require a long steep to realize the extent of its change.
There are no off notes, nothing hiding in the background, just a really nice, mild tobacco. It is slightly sweet. It's really nice to vape on all by itself.
Again - I really feel like this is going to show it's full potential in a mix. In the meantime, I'm going to mix solo again at 5% and see what happens. I can definitely see myself using this for a lighter recipe, maybe with a little bit of some of the darker FLVs, dark for pipe maybe, definitely FA oak wood. Would be great in a from scratch ry4.
Anyway, gonna post this now and update with my 5% test later.

3%, 4mm 6 wrap 3 core SS fused clapton at 70w in a C4. Steeped 1 month. 6mg nic
This is a nice, mild tobacco. Unfortunately it falls short of my expectations. There is a significant amount of caramel here, making it relatively sweet. Not enough to be off putting, but it does stick your tongue. I get a very small amount of plum and raisin the background, lingering in the nose. Mouthfeel is pretty neutral, not too dry, not too wet. The tobacco itself is light, and I think this could do well as a wrapper, or somewhere you just need a mild tobacco with caramel. Little to no ash, light leaf. No spice that I can detect. It is sweet, significantly sweeter than I expected. For me this would not be leading a recipe. I'd use it starting around 1-2% as a wrapper, or to add some caramel. Again, it is sweet. I feel at 3% I'm getting an accurate representation of the full profile. And do not intend to run this solo in an RTA like I do with most SFTs.
I'm a bit disappointed in this as I was, based on smell, expecting much more of an actual full bodied red tobacco, but that's not what I'm getting. It's flat, with caramel taking the lead and the tobacco buried in it. Very one dimensional. It's definitely not a red. Honestly there are a handful of other concentrates I could use instead and get the same thing... Like a caramel. Bummer.
Edit: I've come back to this, about a week later, and am now getting a little more tobacco than before. Not much, but I wouldn't say it's just caramel now. Just light leaf. Also finding a tiny bit of anise way in the background, on the nose. I still don't think I would be using this for anything I didn't mentioned above. There is a user on reddit that said they get cherry, I do not. I think it's the sweetness + the little bit of plum and raisin that could lead to that conclusion. But - everyones palate is different.

Love some commercial juice but are tired of paying someone else to mix for you? Then you are in the right place. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.
However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Why pay retail when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that?

Why would they delist this from the official FDA Youtube channel? Hmm, maybe its because they have been getting sued a lot.

Whenever you open nic bottle, air with fresh oxygen gets in, degrading a bit of nic in the solution during storage. One way to prevent it is to air the bottle with Argon gas before capping it.
Could Co2 be used instead? Or is nicotine too reactive even for that?
(chatgpt says Co2 is fine, but would be nice to hear from someone who tried this)

Hello guys, I'm making some pure tobacco e-juice lines, I use most of the flavors from FLV. Currently I'm making a tbc bottle that has a rustic flavor and is easy to smoke (vaping all day). I am currently using Oriental, Tuskish, Virginia, Latakia and Red Oak.On a 100% scale, I mix the ratios as follows: Oriental: 35% Turkish: 15% Virginia: 25% Latakia: 15% Red Oak: 10%
It gives off a sweet, predominantly Oriental and Virginia flavor, with a hint of leather and mustiness. The reason I added Turkish was to enhance the cedar and musty smell but I never really smelled cedar. The oak scent I added because I like the smell, it doesn't affect the overall look too much I think.
I try to imitate Balkan Blends like on pipe tobacco, of course it can't be too similar w DIY juice, but the current problem I find missing in my juice is the smell of the ash, tar and a bit of smoke and soil. I'm wondering if I should add Dirty Neutral Base, Black fire ?
I take the spicy but gentle of Oriental as the main, I don't know if the ratio I mix is too little Latakia and too much Oriental or Virginia. I found the flavor base to be okay, it just lacked that burn of pipe tobacco. Thanks guys
I have not ordered VG in quite some time and have honestly been a bigger fan of noms lately but needed VG and ordered flavors and bottles and tossed in VG. They wouldn’t process the order with the VG. I’m in the lockdown state of NY. It’s VG, not the devil N.
So always I ordered PG or VG from BCF, last time was in the middle of the summer I believe. So last week I tried to order the same again and it said "some products in your cart can't be shipped to your location". Turns out it was PG/VG - and not in huge quantites, I tried both 0.5l and 1l. The site doesn't explain it in anyway - my flavors shipped okay.
Is there any awesome new legislation about base liquid I missed? Thanks in advance!
