Where was the location of the Discovery Plantation in DC?

I heard about this historical plantation. But where was it located in modern times?

May Procession 1944 — St. Dominics, Washington, D.C.

The SW revitalization combined with the 395 construction combined to isolate St. Dominics from its community. While it’s still there, the church is a shell of its former self.

Jim Henson's DC Studio

I'm reading the biography of Jim Henson who primarily worked in DC during his early years before the Muppets really took off. The book mentions they would film in Rodel Studios located in the Foggy Bottom area.

I haven't been able to find anything about where the studio was located or what happened to it and am wondering if anyone has any leads on how to explore that more?

DC History Blogs/Websites

Hi!

I'm trying to find any local magazines or websites where people can submit stories about dc history. I know of Washington History Magazine but i believe they only publish twice a year and each edition only has a few stories inside. Appreciate the help, thanks!
