What's with the new star missions and waiting till I'm almost at the end and requiring I spend 100 gems to move on.. what bullshit is this?

Is it me or have these sales been feeling a bit inaccessible/not worth it?

🎁 In the recent apology gift message (see image), JC said they were addressing "overly-long game rounds and other issues with Emoji powers that affect blitz mode"

🩹 The specific "fix" (in V62.1.0) was to remove additional time added to a game when an emoji's blitz mode power is activated. This was applied universally to all ~16 emojis that have a blitz triggering power

🏋‍♀️ This also explains the unusual amount of "buffs" (aka lowering/improving) to so many emoji's power trigger activation requirements! ALL of the emojis in the same update that were adjusted had one thing in common.... a triggering blitz mode power. By removing the +time bonus from their powers, JC could also make activating the power easier

🧽🔫 This is just another example of a game "nerf"! Why might they have prioritized this nerf? At least 2 reasons I can think of....

1️⃣ Extended games makes getting high volumes of coins faster/easier...... they don't want people to have even maxed coin-based emojis (hence the size of the gold box....), as it cuts into revenue for events when gold box emojis are included at higher levels to play maps

2️⃣ Long-lasting games equal really high scores. In turn this can raise the difficulty of a player's missions too fast. Rather then deal with complaints about impossible missions, they instead addressed a root cause of those mega-million score games

The magnet is back in enchanted skies! Anyone else happy about that?

This isn’t a purely raging post, as I feel it has at least some legitimacy.

I really wish they would stop “balancing” the emojis.

I’ve been kinda of obsessed with Chernabog since his quest pass. In fact I have saved charges and gems, and finally a few weeks back, maxed him to level 5 via the diamond box.

I did selective 2DT, but that’s not relevant to my gripe.

I’m not sure how many other emoji who trigger a blitz as well as clear emoji work, but for Chernabog at least there was a fantastic (perk?) thing you could do if his power was charged and you were a slither away from entering blitz mode. If you got it just perfectly, his clear action would trigger blitz and then layer his own blitz trigger on top, giving you 10 seconds. This has now changed.

Chernabog used to net me about 950 coins (unboosted) with reasonable repeatability. It’s now only around 500 coins.

Now I know the specifics of my post are more personal to me, but this continuing issue of balancing and changing how the emojis react is an annoying one, and I can’t believe Chernabog is the only one which has suffered.

I guess I’m just moaning because I feel at times these attempts to balance and “fix” are way way too heavy handed.

Regardless of its name, I actually find this game, for the most part, is one of finesse and control. Constantly changing how the emojis interact, for me at least, diminishes my enjoyment of the game, as I can no longer rely upon one to fulfil a particular function.

Anyway just wanted to vent lol. Apologies for the boring post.

I have been addicted to this game for a few months now but there are some things that bother me about it.

• The limited amount of lives. I would pay good money to get infinite lives forever in this. Then again, I’d probably never get off it if it didn’t force me to take breaks lol

• You can’t buy specific emojis. I finally filled up my wish box after a few months and purchased it thinking that I would get ALL the emojis in it. Nope. I really wanted the Hatbox Ghost but I got Merida. To be fair, she is one of my favorite princesses but people have been saying that Hatbox is really powerful.

• Confused on how to level up emojis. How are y’all getting 1M+ points?! The highest I’ve gotten is a little over 400k. If there’s something I’m missing, I would love to know about it.

• I also feel that 1 minute is too small amount of time. 5 seconds doesn’t make a difference for the time boost lol

Does anyone have any idea when she will premiere? The DEB google calendar said it was 5.2.24. Just curious.

I'm beyond happy at the moment, as I managed to win Meadow Padme this morning. Was eyeing for her when she arrived, so I've tried my luck by buying the Diamond Box. Guess what, I got her on the first try! Hope I didn't use all of my luck tho 😂

This update appears to be deploying multiple ways as a forced update.....but essentially it installs AFTER installing the store V62.1.0 update described here. For some people it will be ~1MB in size and for others it will be ~4MB in size....but it is the same update!
