The discord voice message button is completely gone on PC and on mobile (Yes I know where it is on PC, don't say it)

i am getting invited randomly through the week to a server by the same user (probably a bot) how do i prevent it? my authorized app is blank so i really dont know what to do
it is so annoying that a pop up appear everytime

So heres my Issue:
Yesterday started my PC per usual, went into VC with friends, and none could hear me.
Checked my In App settings, couldnt hear myself, checked Mic settings, could hear myself clearly.
Went in the Web-App, everything fine, except when i was longer in VC, all Audio comes now to only one Ear.

Fully Deleted Discord, installed Discord anew & Discord PTB, worked fine then.
But every time i shut down my PC its there again.

I already wrote a Powershell Script for reinstalling Discord as some kind of workaround, but i dont want it to be a permanent "fix".

Am i maybe missing something?

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been in a group DM for some time now (~5 years) and notifications don’t work properly for this specific DM. It worked at one point until I had it muted for about a month and it has never worked again. No notifications on desktop or my phone. Weird thing is when there are calls, I still get the call notification instantly.

I’ve tried muting/unmuting, notifications settings all seem correct in the app and on my iPhone, and have tried reinstalling Discord. Any ideas?

So, on mobile I can't swipe through photos. It just stopped working for me and its really annoying. I got it to work once and never again. I have no clue how to fix it or what's even wrong.

Hi, I run a small literary community. We primarily interact within a Facebook group, but recently, many members have reported that they rarely see group posts in their feeds. Even those who have post notifications enabled often receive them days after new posts are made.

Since my community also uses a Discord server for more casual interactions, I'm planning to set up a bot there to automatically notify members about activities in the Facebook group.

I'm looking for a bot with the following capabilities:

1. It can detect any new post in the group, regardless of whether it's a text post, image post, or video post.
2. It can detect posts made by any member of the group.
3. Upon detecting a new post, it will send a message to a designated Discord channel, saying something like, "A new post has been made in the Facebook group. Check it out here: <link to the group or the post itself>".

My group's settings are as follows:

1. The group's visibility is set to public, but the content is private. This means the group is discoverable through search and Facebook's recommendation algorithm, but only members can see the actual posts.
2. I have full admin privileges and ownership of this group.

Is there a bot currently available that can accomplish this? I've explored options like Zapier and IFTTT, but they seem to only offer bots for Facebook page posts, not group posts."

Hey folks, just this morning I woke up to my discord account being disabled. They let me recover the account and change my password. However, when I logged back in, I saw that my account had sent spam "Steam wallet" messages to some of my friends.

The only notable mistake I'd made is that I had accidentally clicked the link to join one of those shady discord servers, which I had left immidiately afterwards.

Im just wondering if should take more action like leaving important servers and/or just making a new account, or if I'm ok?

I saw somebody else post about this but i saw no answers. I cant find my blocked accounts list?? I see where it says "looking for accounts youve blocked or ignored?" At the top but when i click it nothing happens?? It sends me to content & social but there is no blocked list. I definitely have people blocked (ive been on discord since 2019 lol) so i dont know what my issue is??

this happens closer to the nighttime for the past two nights on discord the audio from my microphone is clear to everyone else but the speech for others is horrible, I would say it is similar sounding to a lag spike but my internet is doing fine and my microphone and audio outside of discord is completely fine. do any of you have any ideas to troubleshoot?

I work for a company that uses Discord pretty regularly for communication, and I’m thinking of downloading the app on my phone so I can stay in touch with my colleagues while I’m out running errands. But before I do, I have a few concerns about security and privacy.

I’ve read a bit online and it seems like your IP address could be exposed in certain situations, like if you click on a malicious link. However, I’m not totally sure if this applies to just using the app normally, especially if I’m just chatting or sending messages (even taking calls) So here’s my question: Does Discord expose your IP address in any other way when using the mobile app?

Also, what are the chances of someone exploiting a bug or vulnerability to perform an RCE or something similar to leak my location or data? I know this is a bit extreme, but I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

How do I make it so the members of the server have to choose a role before they have access to the rest of the channels?

Been looking online but have found no help. It’s a lot easier to do that than ask everyone to claim their role everytime they chat for the first time. It’s so confusing🤣 any help is always appreciated.

Self-explanatory. This has been going on for a while now and I'm not sure what the issue could be. For the record, I have Nitro (not Basic), and the servers I regularly VC in are enabled to let you use Soundboards from other servers. I had tested this out in my server, and from what I understand, I would know the sound clip works and can be heard by other people in a VC if my icon lights green (much like if any audio is picked up from my mic or other input source). I originally thought that it could be a file type issue, in that, for instance, a WAV file could play just fine, but an MP3 file would not, but I don't think that's the case. So far, I've tried reinstalling Discord, reinstalling audio drivers, clearing my cache, etc., but I'm still having this issue. Anything else I should try? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was searching some info regarding Limited Access and found this post, which basically said the limited access has an expiry date:

I got a limited access for violent and graphic content (which i did not post, and already opened a ticket with discord, but i doubt they'll ever respond) and it does not have an expiry date.
Does this mean my account is doomed forever due to some AI auto ban i got for nothing and I will never even learn why I got it? wth

Apparently I got it as someone with whom I had a conversation posted something which got reported and everyone who was posting on that time got ricochet ban too lol

I am currently using a bot in my server that displays game chat activity in real time from a game that I normally play. A group of us admins will read the chat log but it’s endless texts that we have to scroll through. We ban players for making racial/sexually discriminatory remarks.

Is there another bot that notifies staff whenever racial/sexual words appear in our chat log channel?

I've been looking at MEE6 for the ability to encourage my users to interact more using the Levels feature. Is there anything else out there that can do the same thing without requiring Premium? I'm a Pro DM, so looking for something reliable and reasonably professional, but by the same token the money in this gig is not great at entry level, so I'm not keen on paying for any more subscriptions.

Screen recorded videos from a friend stopped loading all of a sudden. I can hear the audio and the playbar is moving, but the video is frozen from the thumbnail. This only affects my computer for some reason but the videos are loading on mobile, so I'm confused about whether this issue is from Discord's end or from my computer?

I'm facing an issue with video call on discord. Whenever I'm calling my friend a white dot kinda thing appears on the video icon which goes away when I touch the icon and the other person is not able to see me. On my end I can see myself and the other person but they are not able to see me. On their end it shows that I've not enabled my video. I've tried enabling and disabling video, checked permissions, reinstalled the app. But nothing works. Anyone else have the same issue?

I want to figure out how many hours I've been in vc with my friend and I need to sort by vc, like perhaps the "started a call" (but that doesn't make the vcs pop if if I search it), in order to do that. There's too many messages in between vcs and I want to get every single one.

Originally I thought that the color of your profile BG was the color that appeared the most in your PFP... this has been true for me in the past but recently I have changed my PFP and the color of my background is not seen at all in my new pic. There is the name of a color in my username, and that color is my new background. Has this happened to anyone else? Honestly kind of impressed they would go to this much effort over an inconsequential feature.
