So I used to ride BMX as a kid. I graduated to CX and XC later and I've been quite happy.

Now I'm looking for a simpler bike to fool around (manuals, jumping benches, skatepark) and run errands around the neighborhood. Also something that could double as a DJ when I get the guts, since I live quite close to a popular spot. I think for my use case a simple DJ should do great, even with a rigid fork. Am I right there?

I'm having trouble finding decent bikes under 500€ on the used market. They're usually 10 years plus with really poor maintenance or newer bikes with low quality components. How bad are suntours epixon forks? How about 10 year old mazzorchi bombers?. Are there completes with rigid forks that could fit the bill (even if a bit pricier)?

I have no problem with doing some wrenching (I used to work at a bike shop) but I just don't want the feeling of budget component flexing/giving all the time (im 100kg or 220lbs). Maybe budget forks now aren't like this anymore.

Im choosing between Specialized P3 and the new YT Dirtlove. The P3 looked so nice love the design but the YT has integrated crank stopper and a external cabling and I also like the design. I don't really mind those features but it was nice to have them in.

i’m coming from mountain bike and looking to get a dirt jumper i like the idea of a p4 but not sure if the 27.5 will make much difference compared to a traditional 26 inch wheel?

Took two and a half months of progression to build the confidence to give it a shot. My form definitely needs some work, and when I'm nervous I tend to absorb a lot of the lip.

Anyone here with a profile z coaster? Just had mine delivered and I ordered a 10x135 volcano bolts.

Upon putting in my frame I measured it and it seems to measure at 140. Profile don’t make a female bolt 142 hub so they can’t have sent the wrong size. Do profile hubs just measure wide?
