Anyone know any places to find DGM goodies in Japan specifically in Tokyo? C:
I want to get into the series but from what I have heard is that Allen is the typical I love everyone and want the good of all even enemies, the even enemies part is what concerns me the most as I have had enough of mcs sparring enemies straight away without some consequences to them as if their killing and hurting people does never happens and without giving them some ass whooping before going into the kind to enemies route
So I want to know how he is, I’m not asking for a ruthless mc or someone that kills his enemies, at least I want to know that he whoop their butts then he can forgive them (even if it happens after some character development) at least he is not straight away forgives them. for me It’s really annoying to watch these kind of mcs
I was rereading chapter 214, I noticed that baby mana was sleeping for a MONTH? And according to nea it wasn’t the first time AND it wasn’t the last time since we see him sleeping in chapter 218, so what was the reason for his sleep/coma?
I'm a bit out of touch with the current theories but am I right that the latest chapters makes it seem highly unlikely that Crown Clown is the heart? It doesn't seem right that apocryphus would be comanding the heart like that. I feel like whatever makes Crown Clown special is what's happening right now in the flashback, maybe Past Lavi became Allen's innocence or some anime shit like that or maybe the innocence learns the value of the human soul. Or does this somehow make it more likely that Allen is the hearts wielder? What are peoples thoughts... Also, is the heart the pillar? I'm a wee bit confused
Few months ago, i participated in a Zine, where everyone got a Page they had to redraw, and this was mine❣️🦐 (Original page in the comments)
Going by the beginning of the story to the end.
Drew some Fanart of Lenalee, in a different style than i usually draw ❣️
I have a friend that loves to read my original works but couldn't really read my D. Gray Man longfic due to her not being at all knowledgeable about the anime or manga or anime in general. So I made her a little guide she can turn to whenever a specific term appears or certain characters that are not OC's. It's in Spanglish.
Lately I've been reading some d.gray man fanfiction and I was wondering which fanfictions are actually close to the new canon. And honestly I'm carving for some Past! Allen fanfiction.
where to eatch season 2?
Not sure if I should tag it as spoilers since this volume has been out for two years but gonna be safe. Anyway after basically a decade of theorizing it was nice to get confirmation Allen was the heart. Tho I’m not sure how I feel about this extended flashback arc. Tbh I’ve been pretty mixed on the story since the Mana is the Earl plot twist. But that’s me.
People keep repeating that in some interview recently, Katsura Hoshino stated that we're in the middle of the D.Gray-Man story.
This is not such a bewildering idea. We're only learning who Nea is, and what his plans even are. We're finding out what kind of bad guy the innocence is, and generally only building a footing to understand all the players. For our heroes, choosing which side to support, and actually enacting whatever plan it will have to save everyone, could very well take just as long as getting to this point.
Thing is, the middle suggests we've got as many chapters to go as we've gotten thus far.
We've got 250 of them, by the way.
And we're seeing 4 come out each year, barring any breaks that sometimes rob us of a chapter.
Someone correct my math, but that's about..
62 years and 6 months before we hit chapter 500?
I'd like to express my hope that everyone here will live that long, and Katsura herself even for thrice as much if she so wishes.
I'm talking about "The Picture of Dorian Gray" obviously. When I started reading the manga a long time ago I thought it was a reference to that novel. The Victorian atmosphere didn't help my confusion. Obviously as I read the chapters I noticed there weren't many more similarities and a while ago I read that the title refers to something else. Was I the only one who had that confusion?
So I recently started reading the manga. I watched one of the anime’s quite a few years ago. I just caught up with chapter 245 on the Shonen Jump app. There’s no other chapters but when I googled it I saw that there’s like 8 more chapters released? Does Shonen Jump not carry the manga anymore?
This is gonna be a rather rambley post about my thoughts on Allen,it's worth noting that anything I say will only apply to the anime,as I've not read past it yet.
His character is quite interesting, from his design to his background to his ideology, his pathological, borderline unhealthy insistence to keep walking inspires me,no matter how hurt he may be,even if he's unsure if he really chose this for himself,he persists, attempting to save both friend and foe at whatever cost to himself, one what may he will walk on his own,and by the end of the show he does, Allen walker, this 16 year old dawn near self appointed martyr is my ideal
