I've been working at this company as a DevOps engineer for 2 years now, also functioning as a SecOps engineer. While here, I've led 2 large security initiatives and helped push many others. This was my first real job in IT (had a sys admin internship in high school) and got some good experience with IaC, CI/CD, version control, and other tools that come with the territory. I'm also just about done with my bachelor's in CS. I've also got a strong command over most of the languages used in our backend.

The company offered me a remote DevSecOps engineer position that would be created to accommodate my role in the org, making me the first DevSecOps engineer there.

The company's a medium-sized healthcare business based in the southeastern US.

I've enjoyed working there and the people are great, but my family's in a tough financial spot, so I want to make sure I get a good offer so I can help them out as much as possible. I just want a square deal.

Hi, I have worked for 2.5 years as SRE and then I did masters in CS but now I want to get back to the role of SRE/DevOps. I have gone through couple of interviews but unfortunately, couldn't crack any of them. I showed my strength in AWS and terraform but very few wants that. Everyone wants jack of all trades. I have a WinForms application developed in .net 8, that is kind of like an ERP, whenever there is a bug fixed, or new feature added, or change in some calculation's ad needed by some 3rd party APIs. I have to manually copy DLLs from developers' system to customer's servers. that usually takes about an hour for 2-3 servers.

I'm looking for such a DevOps er. that understands how WinForms application works and how many users from same server uses application.

I’ve been working as a DevOps // SRE for the last 14 years. I live in the SF Bay Area so I can commute but I’m primarily looking for remote work.

I’m open to freelance, contract, part-time, or full-time.

I would describe myself as goal-driven and high performing. While I feel like my experience has yielded me the ability to be impactful, I’m also not afraid to admit when I don’t know something or that I need more time to confidently answer the question. I’m data-driven in my decision making as much as possible and I’m always seeking ways to leverage automation to make life easier or less mundane.

My focus lately has been AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Terraform, GitHub Actions, etc.

For monitoring I’ve been working with Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry most recently but I’m also familiar with Datadog and other SaaS products.

For most of my career I’ve been at smaller startups where I’ve been the founding Ops member and been required to wear many hats ranging from IT to InfoSec.

I’ve successfully ran ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits where I had to create compliant security systems from scratch.

Over the last 5 years my role has primarily consisted of acting as a tech lead or principal engineer. In this capacity I worked closely with leadership on system design and process improvement.

I’m comfortable with regular customer interactions either in person or remotely. Some travel is ok.
