I am looking for a full-time job with basic benefits that pays even just a bit more than minimum wage and has a delivery address. I only have a year of retail experience, but I am a quick learner and good at people skills. All of the jobs I find are in Timbuktu or need a degree or are traveling sales in my area.
I would like to know if anyone knows what companies are specifically hiring right now and if they would accept what amounts to a personality hire.

Hi r/DenverJobs!
My name is Nathan, and I’m excited to explore career opportunities in Denver as I transition into a new professional chapter. I bring over five years of experience as an assistant manager at T-Mobile, where I developed strong sales, customer engagement, and leadership skills. I’m now leveraging that background to break into the cybersecurity or IT field while remaining open to sales roles.
I’m eager to bring my passion for problem-solving and building meaningful connections to any company willing to invest in driven talent. If you or someone in your network knows of opportunities, feel free to DM me!
Thanks so much for your time and any leads you can share!

Hello! I plan on moving to Denver within the next three months, I’m a master student studying public administration and would be looking for a job in an applicable field. Does anybody know any good options that I should look at? Salary minimum would probably be around $50k or the hourly equivalent. TIA!
Hey Reddit,
I’ve been a bartender and server for the past 8 years, and while I’ve loved the experience, I’m ready to transition into something new. The problem is, I’ve been job hunting for months now with no luck.
I’ve applied to a range of positions that I thought my skills would transfer to—customer service, administrative roles, even entry-level positions in fields I’m interested in—but it feels like I’m not even getting my foot in the door.
I know I have strong communication skills, can handle high-pressure environments, and am great at multitasking. I’ve dealt with everything from difficult customers to fast-paced rushes and think those experiences could translate well to other industries, but I’m starting to wonder if employers see it that way.
Has anyone else successfully transitioned out of the service industry? If so, how did you market your experience? Or if you’ve been in hiring roles, what makes someone with my background stand out?
I’m feeling pretty discouraged, but I’m determined to keep trying. Any advice or words of encouragement would mean the world right now.
Thanks in advance!

Hello all, i’m trying to help my friend out with getting job leads. Like the title says, wondering if anyone know of any jobs hiring that are entry level in any field or anything customer service related? He has 7+ years in customer service (food industry), HS diploma, doesn’t have a car and is in the South Hampden area. Thanks in advance :)
I’m a college student, been hunting for a consistently scheduled job that would accommodate my school schedule for a little over a year now. I feel like I’m a good candidate, but it’s been a long time and I haven’t been able to really even get a call back from 90% of the places I’m applying to. Does anyone know of maybe a coffee shop around the metro area that needs new employees? Something that’s open from like 7/8-3 or so would be ideal but as I’m sure most people are I’m down for anything as long as they have a consistent schedule
Hello, I’m currently looking for a second job, preferably to start at 9pm. Any graveyard shifts, 3rd shifts, anyone know of a place that is hiring? I’ve tried searching on indeed but I get very limited options. Would appreciate any help! Thank you
The last 2+ years were spent driving around the country as a machine technician working on everything paint machines, but I was not able to find employment in the allotted time that I've set with my recent work experience. I'm going to have to create another form of income after work hours.
$20+ and 30hrs a week if possible.
-Flawless driving record. Experience working as a yard dog in a warehouse setting, so I'm comfortable driving. Extremely reliable transportation.
-2+ years as machine technician + 6 months as an electricians apprentice. Comfortable with battery safety and ohms law.
-Experience managing a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
-Proficient with various computer systems and programs, such as anything Microsoft.
-Extremely self-motivated.
Thank you kindly for reading.
I got interviewed to a teacher job in Aurora and I wonder if anyone has the experience working in such a diverse environment... I'm a little scared of guns, and school violence is a real thing in Colorado, right? need some support here. I also really need a job... can't say no if they offer me the position!
Anybody know of any jobs that provide health insurance upon starting rather than a 90 days in method? My last employer gave health insurance on the first day (working in a Museum) and I'm just curious if there's anywhere else that does this at a non-exec position.
Hey guys!! I'm 23F and I work a 9-5 now, but was a bartender for 5 years on and off and am good at the job. I need some extra income and am looking for a bar who might be looking for some bartending help 1 night a week preferably in northern downtown area. Anyone have any bars they recommend to check out or know are hiring?? Open to any suggestions!! 🫶🏼
I'm an interior designer developing some workforce housing for a client. We have what is essentially a container home that I'll need 3D interior and exterior views for. This is all designed and specified.
The other element will be the site plans, I'll need a video walk through with the amenities. This project will continue as the owner purchased more parcels of land. The work will keep coming but will be sporadic.
An example of what I'm looking for here, the units will be simplified. https://youtu.be/r1CaVXA4UFg?si=fHCu_352rDJ3ousp
I've tried Fiverr and had no success, this would be great for a student/architect/designer that has a good grasp of revit or sketch up. Please have some completed projects that you can share and be willing to meet in person. I'm looking for a long term person to partner with to get these projects completed.
I'm not sure on pay at this point, I'd like to discuss that once I find a good candidate. My preference is to work on a lump sum per project basis. This is not a full time job, it's a great side work opportunity. Thank you!
I currently have a job but it’s starting to take a toll on me mentally. I have applied to pretty much every restaurant I can find an application for within a 15 mile radius. At this point I’m willing to do anything I can. I can’t afford to further my education or move with the hours and pay I’m getting. If anyone has any leads or opportunities please let me know. I can work anytime.
I know a few friends who are working from home and like it. I was wondering if someone had legitimate suggestions. Preferably ones that supply the things you’ll need, is full time, and pays well too.
I have about ten years of experience and have not been able to find steady work. Just small gigs here and there which is great but not enough. Open to full or part time. Remote position preferred but not necessary.
Hi! I’ve been looking for factory/production type work! I’ve been trying at purina and land o lakes but haven’t heard anything back. I have experience as a supervisor in production work. Any info is appreciated, thanks!
I am a 30 year old man currently working as a night auditor in Greenwood Village. I’ve been trying to find a way to switch from nights to daytime and work a more 9-5 with decent pay.
Unfortunately, while night audit work is accounting, it doesn’t count as viable accounting experience. I’ve been doing it for almost 4 years now and want something with a bit more challenge as well.
I apply on indeed every couple of days but wanted to see if maybe something was open here. I don’t have a car and haven’t transitioned my license yet, but I also plan to do that soon too.
Hi there! Going to try this in addition to the regular ol’ indeed route. Unfortunately due to a family emergency my inside salesperson resigned today. I am a traveling salesperson for a 35 year old manufacturer that sells nationally, I’ve worked for the company for 8 years. The position is in office Monday - Friday, and the office is around i70 and Havana. Experience with the Microsoft suite including light (no pivot tables here) excel work is a must. I’m looking for someone that is friendly, reliable and has a sense of urgency. Every day is a little bit different but for the most part, you’d be handling day to day calls/emails for salespeople and customers, making a couple of samples (we’ll teach you this), managing custom orders, keeping and distributing sales reports and most importantly, being my right hand. Pay range is $62-68K annually depending on experience and the job also has PTO, insurance, 401K, etc. Leave a comment below if you’d like to hear more. I’m looking to make a decision within the next 3-4 weeks. Thank you!
So many companies have programs to upskill their employee base and a lot of them have few strings attached to the benefit. If you want to gain new and real skills to be able to get great jobs, but don't have the opportunity to pursue an education, you can work for one of these companies and get your education paid for in full or in part. Here are some companies with openings in Denver that allow you to take advantage of these benefits:

Looking to advance in my HR career and get a mid level HR specific role in Downtown Denver. I have had entry level experience (on/offboarding, insurance & oe, benefit admin, employee first contact) and am approaching 3 years of experience, but only along with other roles included in my job descriptions (marketing, acct, ops, admin). I am good with talking through my past 2 roles but wanted to ask if there were any other sites to look besides the normal job application sites (indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, e.t.c) and specifically any industries here in Denver that could be worth looking into their website/career page. Any advice is appreciated, trying to get out of my current role!
