hi all! just looking for suggestions here. i just moved to the area (shocker, i know) and while im waiting for in-state tuition to finish my Bachelors in Software Engineering, i'd really like to find entry level jobs that can help me build connections and gain experience in the tech field.
i know this is a super oversaturated market right now and i dont have much experience in that particular area (shoutout to the bible belt for not having any opportunities), but i still want to try if anyone has any advice.
or even anything adjacent to that market. ill take anything. lol.
Looking for legit gig apps for the denver metro area. Currently unemployed and looking for anything.
Hello everyone, I'm planning to move to Denver, and I'm seeking advice. I'm currently a tech student, and I am pretending to move there and take online classes during the time I wait to become a Colorado resident and then be able to transfer my classes to CCD; I'm doing this to be able to get into the tech field in Denver area as soon possible. But there are some things that I would like to clarify before moving.
I'm planning a budget under $1000 per month for rent before utilities. Is it possible to find a nonshared place for that amount of money without exposure to a sketchy area? How real is the homeless situation? I would appreciate any insights related to the tech job market and housing; I'm planning to move potentially in August 2025.
Im moving to Colorado shortly after i graduate and wanted to know what the job market is looking like for new grads in Denver or Colorado Springs. I am also looking into new grad programs as well. Any advice?
Hi everyone, I left my last job back in late September after dealing with months of abuse from my boss and an overall toxic environment at the company. I've received an offer for a new job that I'm really looking forward to but it doesn't start until the beginning of next June. My question is: how do I find a job to do between now and then? I've looked at temp agencies but can't get them to respond to me or all of their postings seem to be for construction or heavy manufacturing. I'm mostly looking for something low-key and lower-commitment that I can do, preferably full-time, until I start my next job. Ideally this would be something like working in a bookstore or something similar to that. I have a bachelors degree from a school comparable to CU Boulder and a few years of experience in distribution/supply chain type stuff. Some of the folks I've talked to have suggested food service but I don't really have any experience in that and would prefer not to have to endure the abuse they suffer from customers all the time. Does anyone know of some places that are hiring for jobs like this or where I could look for on? Because Indeed and Craigslist and the temp agency sites are not helping at all. Many thanks everyone!
I've been unemployed for far too long now... I'm running out of money and options (as in I feel like I've applied to any and every job I can find). Ideally, I'd love to work in the event/entertainment sphere, but at this point, I just need to pay rent. I've got a degree in marketing and experience in SaaS sales, retail, serving, and a host of other applicable, albeit less "professional," skills and experiences, such as content creation, crowd control, etc.
I think it's been asked in here before, but not in a while, and it usually pertains to tech or another specific industry; does anyone have a good recruiting agency to recommend? I've also looked at working for the city but have gotten no response from them at all, so I'm wondering if they have a staffing office I could bring my resume to in person.
I'm a few days away from printing out my service industry resume and walking into restaurants near my apartment. Any advice at all on how to land a job around here would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe I'm looking for a unicorn. But if you know of a company that meets (or mostly meets) the criteria in the title, please leave a comment here or send me a DM.
My wife owns a company that works with kids with autism and would love to hire 1 or 2 more people to support her current case load. It could be as many or as little hours as you want, and there's no certifications or experience needed. She will train you.
It can be a great job for people in school, because she can work around your class schedule and get you the hours you need.
$22-$25/hr + bonus potential.
Hello! I’m a broke college student looking to make some extra money this holiday season. I will be in the Denver metro area and am able to dog sit. Please DM me if you need a dog sitter! I am also free to meet at a coffee shop for an interview.
Does anybody know any electrical contractors that are hiring apprentices? I have 3 years of experience but either no one picks up when I call, or they are only hiring licensed electricians. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi folks! Can I get some insider info on what computer systems/tools I can expect to use as a STATISTICAL ANALYST I - Early Childhood Evaluation Unit? The job posting is limited.
I'm wondering exactly what I will be expected to be familiar with (I hear that Stata Gov jobs are not known for their innovative technology). Plus, if you know what types of analysis I will be doing with statistics and coding. Thanks!

I have five years of experience working as a data analyst for the government and I quit that job earlier this year because I was struggling to keep my shit together. Several months of therapy and wellness later, I felt ready to get back into the job market. I thought it'd be easier landing a data position now that I have experience, but I feel it's been way harder than when five years ago when I had virtually no experience.
Is there anyone in this community who's got a good pulse on what the job market is like and maybe could chat with me about improving my job prospects? Preferably someone in hiring or management so I can get some perspective on my weak points, but I'll take anyone really. I'm comfortable sharing my personal resume and video chatting as well if that helps.

Does anyone know if the state of CO tests for THC in their Pre-employment screening? Job is in health care.
I cant find an answer to this question anywhere.
I want to transition back into sales from Human Resources. I do have some account management, B2B, and b2C sales experience (approx 3 years).
I really want to work for a good company where OTE could be higher for a BDR role, or where there is a positive environment/good work-life balance (as much as you can get with sales, anyway).
Does anyone have any companies that they’ve had positive experiences with in a BDR role? Would you mind sharing your thoughts?
I’d prefer the DTC/Littleton area, but am open to downtown Denver, too!

Hello! I'm from Australia and I'm looking for positions and advice on where to find opportunities in the Denver/Boulder area on a J1 visa. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business (major in finance) and would be willing to consider positions relevant to this field or similar. I've been looking around and noticing it is hard to find positions, so I wanted to know if there was anywhere in particular I should look online.
As title says, I left my job (I.T. Staffing/Sales) in the summer due to a toxic environment, and my quickly declining mental health and after working on myself, and spending some time away from corporate America, I am looking to jump back on the horse!
I have almost a decade of sales experience, but am trying to move away from hunting/cold calling. I have a background in media, advertising, marketing, and I.T. staffing, and am looking for account management or customer success.
Due to the state of the market, I'm not being TOO picky about salary (I do have a minimum salary), or on-site/hybrid/remote. I'm open to full time, part time, or contract.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated, but I know the market is rough AND it's Q4..

Advance Car Wash Solutions, LLC sells, installs, and repairs commercial car wash systems. This opportunity is an operations position that supports sales by delivering soap and chemicals to car washes in the Commercial Car Wash Industry.
We need an ambitious and hardworking individual who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions, can work an entire shift on his or her feet, and lift up to 80 lbs. This job requires efficiency and accuracy and requires someone who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. You will deliver chemicals and soap up and down the Front Range as well as along the western slope to the Grand Junction area (overnight), using our 22ft Box Truck or Trailer. Occasionally, you will be required to haul equipment (forklift), on a trailer to job sites. A good driving record and superior driving and towing skills will be mandatory for this position.
I need some extra cash and looking to do something after my day job. I preferably would like something physical since I sit all day in an office setting. Warehouse jobs are sparse on Indeed (particularly for schedule I need). Anyone have any ideas or better sites than Indeed for this type of thing? Thanks!!
East Colfax area.

I was curious if anyone had any experience working at the airport as an employee of the city? Actually working for the airport (not in a position such a concessions or food vendors for example) but in a corporate position? If so, what is it like to work at Denver? Thanks!
