Hello Denver Gamers.
I am representing 2 businesses with this post! I work at a new taproom for a local brewery called Incantation. We are at the Alameda light rail station at the bottom of the apartment building, just a few minutes south of Wizards Chest. My good friend is also the owner of Coffee Cat Comics in Lakewood, and we were able to partner and host MTG casual play every Thursday from 5 to close, and we are offering $1 off each beer while you play. We also offer coffee and espresso drinks until 8pm, and there typically isn't a "hard close" if people are playing. We have only had 2 nights so far and are looking for help in building the event. Coffee Cat Comics has agreed to provide us with exclusives and prizes for people who use the MTG companion app to check in on play nights. If admin or anyone has questions please reach out and I will answer as soon as possible. Thanks!
Hello! We are a group of men ages (early 30s and older, but all ages, orientations or identifications are welcome) who come together to play in person every 2 weeks on Tuesday night (Uptown section of Denver).
We tend to rotate games and who DM'ing (although if you do not wish to DM that's fine it is not a requirement to join), we have played Traveler (via Cepheus Deluxe rules), Dune, Star Trek Adventures, Fallout, Delta Green, and few other games as well.
Right now we are about to finish a short Traveler campaign, and will start a UVG short game (4 to 6 sessions), after that there is a planned Star Trek Adventures game that may run longer then that (5 to 8 sessions).
We are always open to trying new games, and it is often a topic on what to play next whenever we are close to finishing off one, so suggestions on new games are always welcome.
Hey all! I’m a moderately experienced dnd player looking for new or active group. I’ve been playing for about four years now on and off and am looking for a more consistent campaign. Anyone with an opening at a table please message me!! I live in cap hill and work mornings Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday Monday is ideal but I am open all evenings.
I don't know anything about this stuff or the difference between subtypes. My husband is looking for this and I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone/any store selling used/already painted stuff. Many thanks 🙏🏼.
Hello all. I've been playing D&D 5e for years but really want to explore other systems. Does anyone here run Vampire: The Masquerade and have room for another player?
Facebook group if anyone wants to join. We are going to try to do Thanes Table in Westminster once a month and then other gaming too.

Hey there!
My name is Thomas. I just moved to Denver and I'm looking to run a D&D 5th edition campaign (not the new 2024 rules)
I live near City Park in Denver, and I'm hoping to run a campaign meeting every 1-2 weeks in the evenings. I'm also happy to teach new players!
I tend to run really story-driven and roleplay-heavy homebrew campaigns where your choices matter and combat is rare but meaningful. I can be flexible with the group's expectations in terms of tone and setting, but I love running more realistic games with elements of mystery and political intrigue.
Leave a comment or send me a message if this sounds like a good time!
Once we have a group together, I'll host a session zero at my apartment building to see if we're a good fit and to hear your expectations for the campaign. It would be awesome to play with people in their 20s or early 30s (I'm 23), but anyone who is friendly and respectful is welcome!
Hello! I visited my best friend for his wedding a week ago. For his bachelor party, we played a small game. It was my first time and I was hooked. My friend lives across the country so I have a few questions!
DooL is like a Dungeons and Dragons TRPG, but you roleplay yourself surviving a cataclysmic invasion in Denver and gain a special power based on your personality. Character creation will be a short interview and the game rules will be explained before and during games. I'm happy to answer any questions here as well.
Game will be located at my house in Arvada near i70 and wadsworth.
The system will soon be published, and it is a streamlined TTRPG based off of real life characteristics, skills, and such. It is quick to learn and no need for a background as you play as yourself during the game.
The current game is placed after the apocalypse where a giant alien slime mold burst out of the invasion and destroyed Denver. The players have located a safe underground base and are deciding what to do next. This game has time travel elements and ultimately will be traveling to the beginning of the apocalypse to stop this part of the invasion from ever happening.
Hello all. I will be running a lvl 7 D&D one-shot tomorrow in Lakewood. One of my players got sick so I have one seat open. The premise is all the characters have heard of the legendary lost treasure of Captain Jadescale and are seeking to be the ones to recover it. All the adventurers have made their way to a tavern known as the Shore of Dreams in order to charter a ship to find the lost treasure. For details please PM me.
So me and a buddy are trying to get into WH so we went with the basic and cheap "Killteam" and were wondering if there were any groups or people interested in playing?
Is there any good shops, preferably near the arvada/westminster area, that have regular 40K meets over the weekends?
We are the Golden Game Guild! We saw that this subreddit allowed for businesses to make a post once a month and thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves to the Denver Gamers community. We are a small, family owned business in Golden (hence the name) and we specialize in table top games, including board games, RPGs, and Magic: the Gathering. We sell over 400 games and RPGs and try to make our store a safe and fun place for all to come and play. Here is what we have to offer:
Something that makes us a little special is our games library. At almost 800 board games, it is the largest store game library in the state! We charge $10 per person with no time or game limit ($5 for students Mon-Thur). Pay once and you are free to play games all day! A great way to spend an evening with friends, go on a date, or just check out titles you are interested in before you buy. Link to our collection here (soon to be tagged for easier searching)
We know, it is typical, but we actually put a lot of effort into our monthly newsletter to make it worth your time. We talk about what is happening in our store, what games are new to our shelves, the games we have been enjoying as a team, as well as an in-depth highlight of a non-D&D RPG every newsletter. Sign Ups are on our website here.
We love to do events that show off our games and bring the community together. Here are some of the events we do every week:
Monday Teach Me to Play (6:00pm): Learn a new board game every week! You will be sat down with a group, be taught whatever game we are doing that week by our resident game experts, and be entered into a raffle to win the game! Tuesday Lorcana Casual Play (6:00pm, Starts 9/24): Join us for casual Lorcana! Meet up and play with others. $5 entry and we will be handing out multiple prizes for participation.

While we are very proud of all of our efforts to improve our store over the years, the thing we are most proud of is our amazing community. The patrons at the Guild are kind, welcoming, and always happy to see new faces. We cannot be more appreciative of the people that truly make our space special. If you would like to be a part of the Guild Community, go ahead and join our discord and introduce yourself.

Looking to meet some people and join a community? We're getting a group together to play Killer Queen tomorrow (Sunday 9/8) at FlyteCo Tower! It's an awesome 5v5 arcade game that you have to play in person with a group. It's got a national scene and a really awesome community, and we're trying to get the Colorado scene started up for more regular play.
This game is honestly for everyone. I haven't ever had someone have a bad time playing it. You don't need to be good at video games to get into this! Here's a nice overview of the game.
This is a very easy to learn game that also has a lot of strategic and mechanical depth for people who want to get deeper into it. I've actually traveled to tournaments for this game 3 times this year because I miss it so much (I played a lot in Minneapolis). I've never had someone dislike their time playing.
Come down to FlyteCo Tower tomorrow at 3-6ish! The game is up on the 2nd floor. Feel free to DM me if you have any problems.
If you're interested in playing in the future, come join the Discord server as well: https://discord.gg/pSrfZfMu
Pls lmk if you know anyone who can mod an oled switch in Colorado!
Does anyone have leads for mtg or D&D groups for a 14yo kid, ideally south metro area? We’re close to Enchanted Grounds and go to Night Owl a bunch ourselves.
No one at his school seems to play magic and the D&D groups are super disorganized. He’s great at Standard paper magic, but would pick up Commander quickly. Beginner D&D. My husband and I are into paper/online MTG and my husband played a ton of D&D in the 80s, but he needs kids his own age.
(Sorry for being the cringiest mom, kiddo)
Are any spaces (stores, bars, libraries, ect.) hosting Draw Steel nights now that the play test materials are released?
