Super new to 40K, and just got a CSM Combat Patrol and Killteam ready to play. I really enjoy Colpar’s , and was hoping to find some other people new to the hobby to learn and enjoy the game alongside. Anyone in the area, in a similar boat and interested in some Saturday games at Colpar’s in Aurora? I am part of the Gaming Grots War college Facebook group and disc if that makes communicating easier.
Looking to find a new hobby and some friends after moving here last year. My mastiff passed right after I moved and I have no skills at meeting people without him. I'm 39F and it gets harder every year to make friends. I have never done much other than board games, forever ago I played Catan with a group of friends and enjoyed it. I'm open to just about anything in person but can be pretty shy, so I don't think I would do well with role playing games? I really have no idea what's out there to be honest. I could occasionally host a game night for a good group of people if they don't mind my two idiot cats. I come with the bonus of liking to bake, but I'm still struggling with baking at altitude :\
Anybody know great spots to pick up Warhammer 40k boxes in the Littleton or highlands ranch area. Thanks a bunch!
When: November 2, 2024, 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
Where: Table Public House (2190 S Platt River)
Us: 2 early 30s queer femme people who love ttrpgs and telling stories
You: a woman or nb person that also loves ttrpgs and telling stories
Playing: light story/prompt games and just shooting the ttrpg breeze among other women, queer, and nb folk
After this event we're hoping to host a couple of one-shots before year end as well. Even if you've never played a story game like For the Queen or Quiet Year and aren't sure about them, please come connect with us, we'd love to meet you!!
Please sign up to the meetup event or message me on here if you're interested!
Meetup event: https://meetu.ps/e/NzGnZ/QC03p/i (please ignore the Erie, CO tag we are very much in South Denver lol)
Hello!
We are a group of 5 men (early 30s and older, but all ages orientations or identifications are welcome) who come together to play in person every 2 weeks on Tuesday night (Uptown section of Denver).
We tend to rotate games and who DM'ing (although if you do not wish to DM that's fine it is not a requirement to join), we have played Traveler (via Cepheus Deluxe rules), Dune, Star Trek Adventures, Fallout, Delta Green, and few other games as well.
Right now we are doing a UVG short game (4 to 6 sessions), after that there is a planned Star Trek Adventures game that may run longer then that (5 to 8 sessions).
We are always open to trying new games, and it is often a topic on what to play next whenever we are close to finishing off one, so suggestions on new games are always welcome.
Hello! I’m visiting Denver from out of town and got here the day after picking up my Hivestorm box. I have a few hours this afternoon and would love to meet up with anyone interested in playing a game of Kill Team using the new rules so I can get familiar. I know it’s a long shot, but send a message if you’re interested! I can Uber to you, but don’t have any terrain or models with me so hopefully you have a couple of teams to play.
I'm brand new to Warhammer and before I bite the bullet and buy my first set I want to make sure I'd actually be able to play! I'm looking for some beginner friendly people (ideally near the Southlands area) that I could connect with.
Thank you from your hopeful new death guard player
Hi there! I run a pathfinder group with a few friends and we're looking for another person or two to join our next campaign that will be potentially starting next week. Currently the group is myself and 3 of my long-term friends, all late 20s-early 30s; 1 of the players is a very cool gay dude and the rest of us are transfem. We play on Mondays at 8, although the exact start time can wiggle a bit depending on peoples' work schedules, and we play at my place just west of cap hill.
For the actual campaign, I'll be running one of the published adventure paths. We're starting at level 1, so nothing special as far as character setup goes. Experience-wise, me and one of my players have a good grasp on pathfinder, and the other 2 are fairly new, so no worries if you don't understand the system super well.
If you have any interest in joining, feel free to send me a DM telling me a bit about you/your experience with tabletop games, along with any accommodations needed/other info you feel is important. Ideally I'd love to find someone who's also LGBT, around the same age as us, and can commit to making games each week - if you vibe with the group and want to keep playing with us after this campaign ends, that'd be awesome.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Looking for someone to play SC2 with, in a fun but also competitive way. I used to be a Platinum player, but have stopped playing since the game dropped off.
My wife and I just moved to Lakewood, and have gotten pretty into Mansions of Madness. Anyone have groups they play with around the area?
Hi ya'll! My D&D group of six is looking for a new location to play in. I have been researching, but I wanted to see if you fabulous people had any recommendations for us. So far, I have found Enchanted Grounds, Total Escape Games (on Mondays), and Thane's Table. We're all scattered around the Denver Metro Area, so we're trying to keep it in that general vicinity (access to public transportation nearby would be even better!)
I appreciate any help in advance!
Anyone here excited to play New World on console? I’m on Xbox and would be cool to meet fellow Denver gamers who I could play with.
It doesn't have to be superheroes! Roleplay is what I like. I'm happy to GM or play. :) I like discord (cuz after a commute I dread driving more)
I am the DM (40 cis gay male) and all the players are trans. It's a wonderful group and we've been playing on monday nights at 630 at my house in Denver for well over a year. We've had some folks move away and are looking to add a few to the crew. Current game is Strixhaven (magic university- take that JKR) and is role play heavy and very fun. Next game will be Obojima- Studio Ghibli D&D. Looking for other folks that are part of the alphabet family for a safe place to play and not have to explain/justify your existence to other nerds. Message me if you are interested. Thanks!
Whats up folks - Just wanted to post a warning and if i'm very lucky maybe find some of my stuff!
Had my car broken into last night and my whole commander collection stolen! (I know, Denver crime blah blah blah)
Big sad, but also fuck that guy cause he stole 98% proxies.
But all my commanders were real, a lot of secret lairs, and years of collecting play mats, dice, funny sleeves, custom art proxies, etc.
So if any one in the community encounters anyone trying to pawn off 20+ mostly proxied commander decks and a bunch of sweet swag shoot me a DM!
Contents include-
-2 full home depot style commander cases (black and yellow, holds about 10 decks each), covered in dope stickers.
-A very excellent pepperoni skinned backpack filled with collectors playmats, sweet dice, 3d printed squirrels for my chatter fang deck, an orange dragon shield 2 deck holder, and a Machoman Randy Savage keychain (he is one of my proxy commanders)
Rewards include-
-Eternal Gratitude
-As many hugs as you are physically comfortable with
-Any of the real cards I own, I really don't want to have to rebuild 20 decks.
Thanks, and may all your decks be spicy and plays salty.
TLDR - don't leave your magic cards in your car, people are dicks.
Are there any Pokémon leagues in the Northglenn/Thornton/Broomfield/Westmjnster area that aren’t total ghost towns? Tried to go to Advantage Games on Tuesday but nobody showed. Would love to be able to get in some free open play before paying for a tournament entry.
Only person I have to play with is my wife. We went to Perk on Colfax yesterday and played for a while but I thought it would be cooler to have other players. Anyone want to try it out or know where I could bring it to find players?
I made a whatsapp group to organize! https://chat.whatsapp.com/HfPTlYtmSXfEtZUqIfenR6
Hi there, just moved to town not too long ago. Looking for places to play commander, do y'all have any suggestions? So far I like thursday nights at Wizard's Chest. I called Enchanted Grounds and they said they do Friday nights for that. Any other suggestions on where to go? Thanks!
Beginning as early as a week from Saturday, we will begin a Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk campaign using the new 2024 rules as well as the Beadle and Grimm maps and additional handouts as well as miniatures.
We currently have me (DM) and three players. We had one player drop and we are looking for one more to complete the adventuring party of four players.
We are all in our 30s and 40s.
I'm open to new players as I am a newer DM. All I ask is that you be engaged and interested in the role play. We need play on Saturdays from 5pm to 9pm and will likely skip some weeks here and there. We will be playing near arapahoe and I-25
Please let me know if you have any questions.
