I’m addicted to chicken fried rice.. I used to go to Kyu Ramen before they relocated and before they shut down and have chicken fried rice and that was the best ramen I’ve had in Denver but it’s closed so what you guys got for best chicken fried rice spots? I want to eat all the chicken fried rice they will cook I stg
Looking for fresh authentic ceviches, shrimp cocktail, oysters, whole fish etc. Bonus points for South Denver locations. Mr. Perlatas looks pretty solid. Thanks!!
What are some spots that don't get mentioned here often that you really like? Any cuisine, any part of Denver metro. Looking to find something new.
I would like to get a restaurant giftcard for my cousin in Denver. Could you recommend a restaurant group giftcard? For example, in the Chicago area, a Lettuce Entertain You gift card would cover a whole bunch of restaurants. Another good one in Chicago is Hogsalt. I don’t want it to be limited to one restaurant in case it’s not what they like. Thank you.
I'm hoping it's back in 2024! Has anyone been yet this year, and if so, do they have proper döner kebab again?
I’ve been tasked with finding a happy hour spot for our company big wigs visiting town- the only request is that it’s off 25 between Lone Tree and downtown. Any suggestions for a spot open by 3pm?
Loved Denver Ramen Fest and felt it was an amazing event. Had friends from out of town fly in and loved it too.
Ramen Fest 2025 tickets were just announced and saw that the prices had a steep increase… and early entry is completely useless now that there are VIP tickets that ensures 1 hour before.
Wondering how everyone else is feeling about this? Feels like a hard pass for me lol.
UPDATE POST for prices: $100 GA / $130 early bird (30min before/ $165 VIP (1 hour before) —- all prices not including a $20+ tax from eventbrite.
I usually go to Happy Bake Shop to get Christmas cookies as gifts. Any other recommendations?
had it for the first time last months and straight up can’t stop getting it. Looking for the best TYIA
Since yum yum spice by DU closed, I haven’t been able to find fried rice that tastes the same 🥲 any suggestions ?
Hi all, I’m coming to Denver for a conference at the Colorado Convention Center next week. I’m getting in around 9 am, don’t have to be at the conference until 4 pm. I’m planning to get an RTD day pass. Would love to find a walkable area close-ish to the convention center where I could have breakfast (somewhere where it’s not weird to sit alone?) and kill some time browsing bookstores and sitting in coffee shops. Any ideas welcome!!
hello! i will be visiting denver in early january and i was just wondering what some of the best affordable restaurants are? i’m looking specifically for brunch or dinner places. thank you in advance!
*by affordable, i mean i don’t want to spend more than $30 for a meal for one person, if at all possible.
I just went in Javier's Diner for the first time in a year. I didn't even sitdown. As soon as I walked in, the smell of piss hit me like a ton of bricks. It smelled like someone pissed in the mop bucket and they mopped the whole place and none of the workers could smell it. If you can't smell that, you shouldn't be making food. I was so bummed. I drive down from Greeley to have their chilaquiles.
Anyone else been there lately? Hopefully that was just an anomaly and not how it's been for a while.
Hi me and my friends are visiting from florida. Looking for spots that you think wouldn't overcrowd the place, has an aesthetic going on, good food. Also just must hit places for a tourist. They mainly don't eat pork
Love taking my wife on fun dates. We went to meow wolf and Le Forêt for dinner tonight. Where are some of your favs? Upscale, dive bars, you name it! We’re lesbians so anything queer friendly is cool too, not sure that’s even a problem in Denver though😂
Just got a chest freezer and have excess space does anyone have a confirmed stand still open? Before I make the federal to lulus run and it turns fruitless
As the title suggests, someone please go have a good Italian meal for me.
My wife and I moved away from Denver back in June, but by being subscribed to their email list, I get constant reminders of how much it is missed.
Posting for this to be someone’s sign to go there🤌
...and Biker Jim's is no longer Biker Jim's place, where do you get a good hotdog in town?
GF is vegan, looking for restaurant recommendations in Lakewood and Littleton area.
I’ve now tried 50+ spots in the last 3 years, and I keep coming back to Tacos Martin. I agree that Venelonzos, La Calle, Kikes, El Taco De Mexico, Adelitas, La Diabla, and Tacos Selene are all good. But I haven’t found anyone who can top Martin. Thoughts?
Open to anything budget. Not like cheap cheap you know just reasonable when you want to feel like you accomplished date night without spending everything you have lol. Preferably in the downtown area, cap hill, highlands area, or Arvada. I love a good atmosphere not upscale, but just good area and ✨vibes✨ or whatever lol. Any type of cuisine im really open to all kinda of food. Thanks!
What is your favorite boba in Denver? Please let me know
I know there are tons of pop-up bars, but I have a toddler. Any recommendations for a festive restaurant and/or brewery that is OK with a 2-year-old?
My 30th birthday is on Tuesday and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do.
Does anybody here know if there is a Mexican restaurant that offers live music and has a dancefloor? The dance floor doesn’t have to be huge or anything?
If there is no place like that here, I’m open to any suggestions. I’m not a seafood person. Don’t eat pork or barbecue. Also I’m blind and I’m public transit to be within the Denver Metro area. Thank you for any suggestions?
We used to frequent a Filippino restaurant in aurora but it closed earlier this year, and we haven’t found a new one yet. We live in NE denver, but are willing to travel (within reason) for delicious food! While I’m open to fusion restaurants, I am more interested in traditional food.

I love the heat of a truly spicy Thai Green Curry, but I’ve been underwhelmed at the heat of most anything I’ve tried in Colorado (I think most everything is tempered for milder palates here). After searching this sub, I tried US Thai in Edgewater today, and even the Thai Hot was rather moderate. Did I just get unlucky? Where’s the real spice at that leaves your belly warm for hours?
my last day in the city and looking for some good food
