Hey there,
My name is Pryce and I’m an upcoming student at Ole Miss who plans on starting a dodgeball team when I get on campus as a member of the NCDA. The major issue however is the lack of southern teams. Travel would be an incredible hassle for tournaments and matches. That’s why I’m asking for your help in starting a Delta State dodgeball team. I think a dodgeball team would find a lot of support on campus and bring a new opportunity for students to get involved. If you’re interested in starting a team, please leave a reply or message me! I’d love to work with you to get this thing started. Thanks and Go Okra
Hi Everyone,
I have been working for some time now on this website ratemycourses.io and I am really excited to share it with you.
You can use this to look at reviews and get advice on courses you're interested in. You can also sort courses by difficulty, usefulness and the overall rating from reviews made by other students. I think if enough people start using it regularly. it's going to be essential when you're choosing your electives or just to get advice on courses you will be taking.
Please let me know if there is anything that I should change or what features I should add.
Lastly, filtering and sorting courses is only gonna be useful and accurate if there are a lot of reviews, so please go ahead and leave some reviews to courses you've taken or are currently taking.
Enjoy!!
Hi there! I am a student planning to transfer to Delta State University Ho and I wanted to know what is the Computer Science project like, whether it's good or not and what are the professors like? Looking forward to reading your replies :)
Me and my girlfriend are going to be moving to Cleveland in late May, we are looking for a place we can stay. If anyone knows anyone who is renting out a space for an affordable rent we are both going to be working full time so please let me know. Thank you
Hey r/Mississippi!
My husband and I are about to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and I've taken it upon myself to plan the coolest surprise ever. Since the second anniversary gift is traditionally cotton and neither of us wants lame sheets or clothes, I thought it'd be fun to do other cotton-related things.
I have a reservation for us at The Shack Up Inn, which is about as cotton-y as it gets as far as I'm aware. We'll be in town July 3 through the 6th and I've been doing some Google-ing trying to find other fun things to fill the time, but it's been sort of difficult.
Here's what I've got so far:
•Dinner at The Blue and White in Tunica on the way.
•Ground Zero Club
•Delta Blues Museum
•Blues Heritage Museum
•Pedicab Tour
•Quapaw Canoe trip from Helena to Montezuma...is this lame? It looks like it could either be really really cool or super boring.
•I've heard about Robert Birdsong doing a tour that could also be cool or lame. Any input?
•Moon Lake/Friar's Point? Anything of note here?
•Abe's BBQ
So...for anyone else who's been and/or grew up there, am I missing anything? Do any of these things suck? Any input would be most appreciated so I can plan a super fun surprise and not have us just baking in the July heat in the middle of nowhere :D
