Backstory: During the photo session, when photographer (Brian) Duffy asked (David) Bowie what the name of the album was to be called, Bowie said "A Lad Insane." Duffy, deeply involved in his craft of 'shuttered light,' one can suppose, misheard it as "Aladdin Sane."
As is common for such an anticipted stellar record from such a rock and roll giant as Bowie, a whole slew of photos were taken; only one would make the cover. Talk about a dilemma in decision making.
With Duffy's highly-skilled eye, each and every one of them would have been a qualified contender. As one might say, "the rest is rock 'n' roll history."

Did you get yours? What did he say
Hiya all, I used to love that group back in 2017, and it was somewhat similar to here — does anyone know why it became archived?
Hello everyone! I'm a psychology student currently researching David Bowie for my course on the Psychology of Giftedness. While I’ve always enjoyed his music, I don’t know much about his personal life, which I’ll need to explore for this project. Specifically, I’m looking for resources about his childhood, interests, inspirations, and legacy.
I’ve noticed there are plenty of documentaries about him, but I’d appreciate recommendations for the most insightful ones. Any suggestions for books, articles, or other content that provide a deep dive into his life and creative process would also be helpful.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello David Bowie fans!! I'm requesting your help!
I've got a friend who absolutely adores David Bowie. A few of our mutual friends want to make her a "Bowie gift basket" for Christmas... except none of us know anything about David Bowie.
That's where we need your help!
What stuff would an AVID David Bowie fan (she knows next to every damn thing about the man), like to have as memorabilia? She's said before that her favorite Bowie persona is the "Thin White Duke", if that helps, but she will be overjoyed about just about anything. We want to keep it relatively inexpensive stuff, maybe 40> per item.
Thanks for your help!
The video starts with David Bowie shirtless or naked looking in the mirror and then he pinched his nipples, I don't know why aswell. The scene cuts to a Lesley Gore opening her front door and screaming loudly because David Bowie was fucking bald and had weird looking eyes. He just stared into Lesley Gore's soul while she was freaking out. The background music was rap music that went: "shawty♀️get👐🏻freaky👅nasty🛌" over and over again. I saw the video on Pinterest and saved it to my board but I can't find it anymore please help find it 😖🙏🏻
