He's been rumoured a cut Darkstalker character but now let's make it official, I imagine his trailer video is Amingo standing in a room with all Darkstalkers clapping and celebrating with narration "It is a great honour to welcome Amingo as an official Darkstalker". With him shaking Morrigan hand.

My fanmade origin :

Somewhere around 1910s a man named Emeliano make a living being a street performance to support himself and his daughter Paulina, a soldier approach him to comeback and fight the revolution. Sadly he died in battle and suddenly wake up in Land Of The Dead, soon realised he died during battle he determined find a way to return back to the real world so he can see Paulina again. He saw his chance by going to Mik Land (basically Aztec underworld) and conquer all 9th level of death, he succeeded but to his surprise instead woke up in his own body he became a sentient cactus called "Amingo". When he found Paulina she is now an old woman (around 60s & 70s), he is been dead for several decades and decide to stay with his daughter until she passed away.

Darkstalkers plot :

He became a hero by many people for protecting Mexico from bandits, cutthroats, predators & put up a show. As time continues an evil entity consume the world forcing all Darkstalkers to fight, so Amingo set out to stop it.

the Castlevania DLC collaboration universally massively boosted my interest in that brand and characters! it would take a novel to define it but basically it got me to thinking what a Darkstalkers collaboration would be like with Vampire Survivors. even if its only sized like the Contra collection it would do wonders for the fans and newcomers and the brand.

Castlevania DLC has like around 80 playable characters beyond the 20 or so they hinted at ! the remixed soundtracks are flawless!! the map is one of the greatest maps ever!! the 4 players co-op combined with the favorites is something not found in any other Castlevania game. Darkstalkers DLC for Vampire Survivors would become a favorite game among fans and cause people to warm up to the series! Darkstalkers in Vampire Survivors would be way better than cameos/cosplay in Street Fighter games.

Darkstalkers characters would be able to 4 players co-op with each other! the whole roster could be there!

considering Poncle has successfully done business with Konami and bringing Contra and Castlevania over to Vampire Survivors. not sure if licensing Darkstalkers would be more expensive or troublesome to do? I think it may have been Poncle that got the ball rolling for Contra DLC and Castlevania DLC to happen. so they would have to be a big Darkstalkers fans to knock on Capcom's door.

but yea, Darkstalkers could be something more than fighting games through being featured in Vampire Survivors. though for now, could probably use VS's playable roster to try to simulate what a Darkstalkers VS could be like. but officially, it would have more impact!

I think a way that may make it a probability, is for Darkstalkers fans let Poncle/ Vampire Survivors creators / developers know how much they want Darkstalkers in Vampire Survivors !! Castlevania DLC has already earned new Castlevania fans and even veteran Castlevania fans start to care about Vampire Survivors !!

sure its not a flawless game, would like zoom in options and better graphics, but hey, its gameplay, replay value, co-op and action shine. it revolutionizes Gauntlet and shmups in creative open ways, resulting in one of the most successful revolutionary modern genres that has its imitators and fans. the collaboration could even convince Capcom to make a Darkstalkers 4 maybe. but at least Darkstalkers would have an extra place to play in.

Anyone have ideas for new Dark Hunters & Huntresses to join a Darkstalkers 4? We have a dhampir & Buddhist out of Donovan Baine, a jiangshi out of Hsien-Ko with her sister Mei Ling, as well as BB Hood who's based on Red Riding Hood & yet psychotic.

We're gonna need a fresh new batch of hunters. Let's say a Jekyll/Hyde inspired hunter, even a Christian Dark Hunter joins in as a paladin & the Invisible Man/Woman. And any fairy tales or nursery rhymes (such as Little Bo Peep & Little Miss Muffet) to be inspired in creating new Dark Hunters? There should also be Indigenous characters into Darkstalkers alongside Middle Eastern ones like the Arabian Nights.

Any kind of hunter/huntress from all corners of the globe with their own specialty.

Would like for a Dark Hunter/Huntress like Anita to be the protagonist or deuratagonist.

Would you have Darkstalkers 4 continue the story after DS3? Reboot it entirely or both like the New Era of MK?

It’s a good way to introduce the series to new fans as well for all old fans to join in.

I want to get into the game's and the CFC is on sale. I know the collection uses the arcade versions of the games but is there anything missing that I can only get from the home ports like character endings or unique modes? To sum it up, is the CFC the best way to get into the series? Thanks in advance.
