Game Overview
"Darkest Dungeon is a hard-core RPG about the stresses of dungeon crawling. You must manage a team of flawed heroes through the horrors of being 500 feet underground while fighting unimaginable foes, famine, disease, and the encroaching dark. You will have to tend to characters’ spirits as much as you do their Hit Points. But in these grim situations arises the opportunity for true skill and heroism!"

Nintendo Swotch DD2 bug?
Even if you press the Press Y to Equip single Y button I can't get 1 item divided, is it a bug? Darkest Dungeon2 Nintendo Switch 1.0.4 version.

Focused Fault cheat sheet
If you didn't already know, dodge tanking is extremely strong against the Focused Fault. Every time you avoid one of its attacks, whether because you dodged or it missed, you lose a Seen token. Bringing heroes that focus on generating Blind and Dodge makes the fight ezpz. So, I made a little cheat sheet of heroes that can do that.
Heroes that can Blind:
- Plague doctor (1 blind token every other turn)
- Jester (1 blind token plus combo, every turn)
- Duelist (Antagoniste path with disengage. 2 blind tokens every turn if combo)
- Runaway (2 blind tokens, combo, and vuln every other turn)
Heroes that can generate dodge:
- Highwayman (Duelist's Advance)
- Grave Robber (Absinthe)
- Jester (Solo)
- Vestal (Consecration of Fortitude)
- Duelist (Meditation)
If you build your team out of these building blocks, Act 3 boss will be a cakewalk.

Question about mission difficulties
I am at 83th week in my first playthrough of dd and I have a question. Will there be a moment, when there won't be lvl 0 and 3 missions so i won't be able to train the new recruits? Because I'm getting 1 or 2 consistently and all others are lvl 5. I also killed like all the bosses with the exception of prophet and the flesh

Is it just me or is the Flagellant a little strong? (DD2)
I went into the oblivion's ingress with a dead healer, and 2 of the other heroes died before even the weaker cultists went down. My Flagellant soloed the whole encounter. I know he has the issue with death herself hunting him but isn't he a little TOO strong if he can solo the brunt of a cultist encounter?

I’ve loved the game for a long time. But what is there to show that?
I’ve saved up a bit of money and I want to buy something related to the games but can’t really find anything. And no I’m no getting a body pillow with the flagellate on it.

Road to The Clash, Loosing my mind.
Trying to 100% achievments. Not much left. Gran Slam long past gone. Going for the clash.
First attempt. Everyone at 0. Had one relationship at 90% bad. didn't trigger.
Second attempt. Last kill at last fight before inn gives a pip up.
Third attempt. Last inn is the roaring hearth, and occultist gets pacifier.
I think i'm loosing it. WHY do they all want to be nice NOW that i'm trying to have them piss each other off.

THE BOSS OBSESSION IS DEAD!! First try and surprisingly easy. BEST RUN EVER! Now I can peacefully close that game and enjoy the day. 3 hours gameplay... I can't believe it

Help with progressing
Picked up this game in the autumn sale and love it, the art style is great and I enjoy the hamlet management system. Major problem im facing right now is that I feel super softlocked by the game. I can't finish any quests as my guys are usually 1 hp after like 2 fights and their stress bar climbs incredibly high. Tried fixing this by killing the guys at the back that usually give stress but the enemies up front just decimate my health bar in 1 turn. Right now i'm just stuck in a cycle of buying provisions, doing 2 or 3 rooms to make my money back, having to abandon quest so as to not die. I cant afford any stress relievers or anything. Send help

The Fanatic’s Actually an Intriguing Character.
You know, after a good while of fearing him and his pyre, I’ve come to realize something. If you guard those he’s about to put on the pyre, he simply puts the MaA/other guarding classes on it, regardless of if they have the curse or not. I think that really highlights the idea that the man is an animal - rabid, destructive, and incapable of nuanced understanding. He. must. be. put. down.

Exemplar prioritizing using The Fall over Pillar Of Sacrifice?
I just got through an Exemplar fight that, for all intents and purposes, went pretty well, but there was a moment early in the fight that has me scratching my head. My Leper has a combo token on him, but the altar has 2 worship tokens. The wiki says that Exemplar should use Pillar Of Sacrifice first, which would give me time to clear the combo token before Exemplar's second action, right?
Apparently not. I don't know if it was a bug in the AI, or what, but it proceeded to use The Fall as its first action that turn, though it luckily missed.
But then why did it use The Fall early?

Am I the only one that ALMOST feels bad for the enemies when I use this skill? Not only does it almost guarantee two procs of 'pain', but then a punish gives him the third and then boom, healthy, well as healthy as a skeletized man can be (which is pretty damn healthy.)

My Favorite Warrens Build ! ( Poke Holes . )
I've found that bringing a strong marking team, along with a viable way to take out high prot / annoying backliners is to pair Hellion with Arbalest. Feel free to take a stab at any part, most of this is what I've scrapped together from reddit posts, and personal experience.
.. And yes, before you say anything, I have mods. I took them off for the sake of all of your eyes.

Discarding Dismas?
I need more space in my roster, and Dismas has horrible negative quirks and no meaningful positives. I would discard him instantly if he wasn't the starting character. Is there any reason to keep him?
Edit: I kept him. I do like the idea of keeping the two starter guys alive as long as possible. It just clashes with how expendable the characters otherwise are in this game.
Btw the game has been so damn fun these last few days. I originally got it few years back for free on epic, and played for couple dosen hours. However, I never got that far and also epic games suck a*s if you ask me, so I bought it on steam with all dlc but CoM. (Gonna buy it at some point too, it just wasn't in the bundle I got) .The combat is so addictive, and my god are some of the characters cool (Flagellant and leper especially).

Damn this game screwed me over
Played two runs yesterday. In the first one I had 4 pairs ready for good relationsships (1 of them in the "very good" zone). (Left the inn for the mountain and not one of them triggered.
Next run after the first area i got 3 pairs just on the theshold to bad relationsships. And of course all 3 of them triggered.
This game sometimes... but I guess thats why I love it😅
