/r/cxd
A subreddit and community dedicated to experimental and underground club music.
A subreddit for an amalgamation of regional American sounds (footwork, Jersey/Baltimore/Philly club, vogue, etc), glossy hyperreal UK sounds (the Night Slugs camp ie. Jam City, uk Funky, grime and icey aesthetics), African and Afro-Caribbean genres (tarraxinha, gqom, dancehall, dembows of all varieties), and proto "deconstructed club" (Total Freedom, Craxxxmurf, etc) that somehow briefly congealed into a somewhat cohesive idea of "club music"
Though it has morphed and progressed over the years, /r/cxd stands to be a repository for music of this variety.

anyone messing with nina protocol? it’s been popping up in some circles, and i’m curious too. anyone here actually using it to drop tracks?
seems like they’re pivoting from the whole crypto vibe and leaning more into being a bandcamp-style hub for indie artists. honestly, that move makes sense if they wanna pull in more musicians who aren’t about web3.
if you’ve tried it, how’s the experience? does it deliver for artists in terms of visibility, fan interaction, or sales? also, i’m always a bit cautious when a service is free but doesn’t really explain how they’re making money from it. like, what’s the catch? anyone know what their game plan is? and what do you think about them dialing back the blockchain hype—smart move or losing what made them unique?
Me personally- I think he’s a musical genius
Looking for music similar to Elysia Crampton's old ambient r&b mashups she put out under E+E
